The surgery went well, unfortunately, the tumor had invaded a portion of his tongue also, so they had to remove a few centimeters of that, which was the only hiccup in surgery.
He's currently in ICU and basically in a medically induced coma. Last night things got hairy because he's ran out of Propofol or his level wasn't sufficient, so he started to wake up and pulling at his trach and drainage tubes and blood was everywhere. He's got a long road of recovery, speech therapy, physical therapy, chemo/radiation, etc.
@Stankonia2014 sorry to hear your dad's going through all that, but glad to hear the surgery went well! Hopefully things continue to move towards a smooth recovery!
Baby names are hard. DH and I are currently sitting around throwing names out. We haven't decided if we are going to find out or not (I was completely against it, but I'm debating just giving in on this one, it seems less important as we get further into pregnancy).
Anyway, if this baby is a boy, it will be the 12th boy cousin between our siblings (DH has 4 nephews, I have 1, my older son has 2 other boy cousins from his biological father, and we have 2 boys now). Plus all of our close friends' kids (which are 5 or 6 more boys). So many names are taken, especially since prefer the more classic names to the trendy, "unique" names. Perusing the baby name board isn't very helpful, there are some doozies thrown out on that board!
@mrspedroza111. 2nd time mom and felt baby moving at 16 weeks. Check out the "movement" thread. It has info on how far along they were and if this is their first, second, etc pregnancy. You usually notice movement early with each subsequent pregnancy.

@devow27, my OB's office wasn't open that day so I called L&D. They said they weren't too concerned. I had more bleeding today and called, they told me they really only want to know if it's period heavy or if I'm having some serious cramping.
@Elyse1384, your husband sounds like a smart man. I have a girlfriend who has spent the better part of a decade struggling with infertility. She said, with both of her healthy pregnancies, she was convinced of the worst right until the end. She said she thinks we do it as a way to protect ourselves.
@BelhurstBride I'll continue to keep you and baby in my thoughts. Hoping the bleeding subsides for you...I know what a mind fuck that whole game is. Keep us posted after your appointment this week.
