@Kashy17 I'm so glad to hear about baby Anna's progress! There must be something about red heads and having their own agenda for arrival lol my Ella also has some red-ish hair!
Oh @Kashy17, these are great updates, and your Santa picture is perfection. It brought tears to my eyes! I am so glad things are going well, and that your milk came in. Keep pumping mama!

Anna has been doing so well the past few days. She is regulating her own body temp and her jaundice is way down so I'm hoping the can take her out of the Isolette and have her just in a little cot so I can pick her up any time I want too! She has also made weight gains the past few days! tiny gains but her weight is going in the right direction. She can nurse for about 10 mins before she gets too tired but we are getting better at it! and she can suck down milk from a bottle like a champ. She's a little piggie
So our little princess has been doing awesome! She is gaining weight consistently and is only 5 grams off of her birth weight!! She is starting to nurse like a champ. We have been doing 15 min sessions at each feed when I'm there and she is doing so great. Her latch is getting much better each time. She still forgets what she is doing sometimes but she is still so little that it is to be expected. I got to see the bath demo for her yesterday and she doesn't seem fond of the bath lol poor girl tried to cry for the first time since her birth. Anna is such a calm and chill baby.
On Thursday I got some news that could be either nothing or something. They did an ultrasound on her brain, they do this for babies born less then 36 weeks gestation, and the ultrasound was showing a bright white spot on the right side of her brain. He explained that it could be one of 4 diff types of hemorrhage or it could be nothing..... he didn't go into what happens if it is something because I didn't really want to hear that at that time. They are doing another ultrasound on Wednesday and that one will show if it is something or if it nothing.
I'm trying so hard to be positive about the results but it is so incredibly hard.....
She is absolutely adorable! Here's hoping that the ultrasound shows nothing and she's a-ok. It sounds like she's a real trooper though with how well she's nursing she is a cutie!
