@Jen_Shoes I'm sorry your hubby is being insensitive. Glad you weren't badly hurt.

@starphish18 My husband is notorious for not giving gifts so I give gifts to his mother, and sisters from me and they just give me stuff (well his mother obviously gets him stuff). But for less close people (his grandmother, my sister and BIL) and friends and others the present is always from the both of us.
@Jen_Shoes I hope you are ok. I would have been so upset with that response as well and probably would have brought up the fact that outdoors had not been salted either. I'm clumsy too and my entire family laughs about how I am always falling. I asked DH to prep the walkway to the driveway because it was so slick. He didn't and then said I only thought it was slick because I'm always falling. He changed his mind pretty quickly when he almost slipped himself.

@starphish18 our gifts are all combined. However MH, usually at the last minute, decides that he is going to buy a gift for DD from him.
But don't worry, you still get connected to the kid when s/he comes out or shortly thereafter! (I actually didn't immediately "bond" with either of my kids -- I didn't know them yet -- but it wasn't any slower of a process for #2 than #1.)
Oh, and I am totally down for a bat signal thread!

Doc said it was SI joint, which is a common pregnancy symptom rearing it's head in second trimester. She said to sleep on side with a pillow between my knees. This does seem to alleviate some of the irritation. She said if it gets worse, then she'll refer me to PT.
