Well no follicle growth today, stayed at 17mm but my lining is nice and thick so I'm still hoping maybe tomorrow we trigger as long as my E2 rose. I was hoping for 18mm today so we could trigger but...we wait

Fingers crossed for you!

I go in for my scan tomorrow. Hopefully I will trigger tomorrow night and IUI Sunday. Worst case I would trigger Saturday and IUI Monday. I hate having to go to work after though so really hoping for Sunday!!

I have had waaaay more cramps this cycle than ever before. Maybe b/c I have lots of follis??? I hope so!!

IUI #3 for me went well yesterday. The nurse had trouble finding my cervix (It's tilted to the side a bit) so it hurt a bit but was over pretty quickly. My trigger shot also hurt really bad this time when DH was injecting the liquid. My first two hardly hurt so I'm not sure why.

I haven't been on in a week or so. I have been having a tough time dealing with my newest infertility news. I had my surgical consult today. The doctor agreed to the surgery and will be removing my right ovarian cyst and part of the ovarian tissue. She is confident that the cyst is directly affecting my ability to produce mature eggs and once this is resolved, I shouldn't have any problems getting pregnant. So....now I am fighting through this insurance nightmare and trying to figure out when this surgery will take place. It's going to be very expensive out of pocket if we do it before the end of the year. But waiting until January is just so depressing. FML.

@AmeliaBedelia - such a big decision for you. I'm glad they agreed to the surgery but I can understand the not wanting to wait. Financial stress can be a beast sometimes. I'm sure you'll make the right decision for you and if it is to wait until January - I bet it's over before you know it and maybe it would be a nice break over the holidays.

E2 went up really well again! They think maybe it was a over measured yesterday because my E2 is where it should be now for a 17mm follicle. So the really boost my dose tonight to give me one last push.

@JWatt5, thank you for the kind words. It's definitely a stressful decision but I know it's right for us. I think we will wait to January and just try to enjoy the holidays without all the stress:)

so long as I don't have any cysts, I'm just waiting for AF and the hit the ground w a second November IUI. Probably in 10-12 days.

Hi all,
Sorry I've been a little MIA. I've been following your stories this month and rooting for you all

I had my follicle scan today, and finally had 2 good follicles!
Our dr. wanted to move us to a hybrid injectable cycle this month, (more $$$) because I've only had 1 dominant follicle each cycle. We weren't ready to make that leap, so we asked to stay with oral meds one more cycle. My Dr. increased my Letrozole from 7.5mg CD 3-7 to CD 2-8. It seems like it worked! I hope we don't need to do anymore, but if we do, I hope we can do this oral dosing schedule again.

I've always dreamed of twin girls... here's my chance! (but don't get me wrong, I'm praying for 1 healthy baby boy or girl

OK that is all I'm letting myself dream this cycle. The odds are against us, and I'm fully prepared to go into the holidays still infertile.

I just went in for my scan and have two big guys as well! One on each side this time. My IUI will be Sunday morning

@Katkirch That's so bizarre, because the same thing happened with me. The trigger hurt and the IUI had some pain, that I haven't had before. I'm hoping that's a good thing and means that things are working as they should... Maybe?

@AmeliaBedelia I am so sorry. Financial stress on top of medical issues is the worst. I definitely understand not wanting to wait though. I hope you make the decision that works best for you and get to enjoy your holidays. Spending the holidays stressed and worried isn't any fun.

@JDW0325 & @ReesaAnne16 That's great news for two follies each! Good luck with your IUIS! @ReesaAnne16 DH and I are hoping for twins too... lol! Of course we'll be over the moon with one healthy baby, but twins would be extra special.

I went in for my day 3 baseline and sono. I had a small cyst on my right ovary, but they JUST called and my bloodwork came back clear. So I start clomid tonight and go in Friday for a check and get my script for my ovidrel trigger.
You guy, I'm so excited. This is my first IUI cycle and I thought for sure I was going to be benched when she saw that cyst. I had one last cycle too and was told I couldn't do it. So excited & hopeful right now!

My one follicle was 20mm, Estrogen doubled again & I've been triggered!!!

@jdw0325 IUI is monday! I think they were considering sunday again, which would be CD12. I've never ovulated naturally on CD12 and last month when they did my IUI on CD12 Af didn't arrive for 16 days later. A 16day LP? I don't think so. I mentioned this and they decided to do the IUI CD13 on monday. I think this is a better option and will give my follicles an extra day to grow

On to my first two week wait. IUI went well, DHs numbers were really good. I was pretty nervous but now I just feel weird. First time having a TWW in 3 months...eek!

I've seen the odd comment about progesterone suppositories here - I start them tomorrow. They don't sound like fun haha but anything that may help I'll do.

My IUI yesterday went ok. Had weird pain/pressure when urinating for a couple hours after though. The nurse also said my cervix looked a little red. So, of course, I am now freaking out about both those things and calling my main RE today!!
Anyone have anything similar?

Edit- can't type today. or ever.

@JDW0325 I have pain most of the time after my IUIs. I've never been told my cervix was red, but IUIs can irritate it. Have you contacted your RE yet?

Just did! She said it was likely from the IUI last month. I guess the nurse did document her findings in my chart and she said it was just slightly red, noting too crazy but not exactly normal. My doctor said I shouldn't be concerned at all since I feel fine now, but they will take a peak at my next appointment if I want them to.

Hi all,
I had IUI#4 today, but I'm not feeling optimistic.
I started having creamy CM last night and this morning, so I'm worried I ovulated yesterday. Also DH's numbers weren't good, only 5M
Our dr. wants us to start thinking about IVF, but we won't be going there, so I have been feeling pretty down. I hope Thanksgiving will be a good distraction.

So my pain came back and I ended up going to see my RE today. They aren't 100% yet (waiting for lab results which take 24-48 hours) but they are pretty sure I have a UTI.

Of course, I am crazy so I have now convinced myself there is no possible way I can be pregnant because of this. They assured me that having a UTI right now does not mean I'm not pregnant, but, now I am just blah and scared and sad and bummed.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my new American Friends!!
I'm thankful for my family but also for this community and that we all have the opportunity to have help in trying to create our future families when so many do not have the support/access/insurance/money to do so.

As I have family in the US and am a dual citizen - I have to work today in Canada because I've used up all my vacation days but I do get turkey dinner tonight too
