Hi ladies, sorry I'm way behind on this thread, so I just wanted to say good luck to everyone in their two week wait, congrats to those that have their BFP and condolences to those that have a BFN.
AFM I started my PIO shots on Tuesday, they've been going ok. A bit sore at the site but no other side effects that I've been noticing. I had bloodwork on wednesday and everything looks great they said so we are still on for our transfer on Monday. Nervous but excited!
@MicronesianMamma I read somewhere that icing the site might not be a good idea because it cools the oil as it goes in, which could lead to some of the bumps, I don't know it's just a theory. Maybe worth trying them without icing the site to see if that helps? I have never iced the site and I swear you still hardly feel the poke.
@mtbadger and @mrsbigcountry thanks for the advice on the rings the patches leave. I have just been scrubbing them in the shower with loofa... I wouldn't recommend it!
I noticed that since I have stopped icing the injection site for the PIO that I don't have lumps anymore. The fertility clinic also changed the injection site protocol this time. Instead of the upper quadrent of the butt it is on the side of my hip. Between my pelvic bone and hip bone. I don't care for it there, btw it is painful.
@Lavendar83 - that's exactly what I've been doing! I tried using my Norwex cloth and it didn't work. I tried rubbing alcohol (thinking how I would take a sticker off an object). I was about to try peanut butter! Thanks @mtbadger and @mrsbigcountry!!

Thanks! @HopefulLily and @Lavendar83 I'll stop icing the area and see if that helps. I'm having my levels checked again on 11/14 with my Beta, hopefully they are good and I can look forward to dropping down to 1x/day. I'm 1/2 way through my 3rd vial in 2 weeks - that seems like a lot.
I ice the injection site and warm the oil in my cleavage for a few minutes before doing my PIO shot. Never had lumps myself - just wanted to share my experience.

Thanks for sharing ur experience! @Monica54321 I've stopped icing for now but it sounds like it just might be a combination of my sensitive skin and the fact that I'm doing so many injections
Had my BETA this morning. The nurse said my level is at 7. So, I'm pretty upset. I really let myself get my hopes up to soon. We are paying for everything out of pocket so it's not only emotionally hard but financially. I still have to stay on my meds over the weekend and have another blood test on Monday. I just want to stop everything and start the process of moving forward from this cycle.
im hoping the rest of you ladies are doing well and I'm looking forward to seeing some + on this thread❤️
Oh @lavendar83 my heart is breaking for you. I think a low beta is even worse than a negative. I totally get just wanting to move on. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts this weekend, be kind to yourself.
Hi everyone. I'm jumping on this thread now. I did my first IVF cycle in October and got BFN Wednesday Plan is to FET x2 11/30. I'm excited to try again this month and follow everyone's journey! Baby dust to all
Welcome @DDRGirlie sorry about your negative hopfully ur next fet is it my fet is this wednesday the 16 im also transferring 2 blastocysts im super excited byr of course nervous.
@Lavendar83. So sorry for what you're going through I would feel the same way and not want to prolong anything however if they are suggesting it they must feel like there is hope at least I would think they wouldn't want to prolong things to get anyone's hopes up.
AMF- I am currently at a wedding reception that is not where I should be today. I've had numerous people ask my husband and I why we don't have any kids or if we're trying, at one point during the cocktail hour a friend of my husband told us him and his fiancé are accidentally pregnant followed by about 4 more people with babies asking us when we're gonna try and I lost it, started crying and had to get out of the room as quickly as possible to avoid being seen. I just want to scream at people when they ask over and over why or when it's not always that simple! Now I just have no energy to socialize I'd rather be resting and praying for my BFP on Monday.

@kjplaza Sorry you had to go through that! It's a horrible horrible lonely feeling.
But right now you are PUPO! x
(I once had to hide in my own closet crying at my own party because someone decided to come and announce that they were 10 weeks pregnant right after my third loss which was an ectopic pregnancy.)
@kjplaza oh I feel your pain. I had a similar experience one time and I was basically just crying at a big lunch party at a restaurant, trying to get myself to stop, it was hard. Hang in there, know you're not alone!
My nerves are starting to set in... I was fine all last week, but just this evening I've started freaking out. One moment I'm sure it worked and I'm googling twin nursery images and the next I'm convinced it didn't work and I'm on the edge of tears. Today is 5dp5dt and Friday's beta seems so freaking far away. I broke down and Amazon Primed some wondfos last night. They should be here tomorrow night, so in theory, I can test on Tuesday. I also swing from needing to know the result right now and wanting to never find out... this is torture.

@Monica54321 I cant imagine i will be the same my fet is wednesday and my throat is itcy i cant get sick im freaking out and the pio shor no joke i hate them my but is so sore i can hardly walk im so scared of all this and the outcome
@Monica54321 I feel the same way! I have my beta tomorrow and I'm stressing out, I've felt very confident I mean my lining was great the embryo was high grade and my lab work was right where they want it so how could it not work? But then I start thinking so negatively and it becomes nearly impossible to think of anything else.
@HopefulLily thank you! I do always try to remember I'm not alone and for the most part one able to just answer people quickly with no kids yet and shake it off but with it just repeated over and over and my hormones already being out of control I couldn't hold it together.

Good luck to the ladies that have transfers coming up and the ones in the TWW. This is a very difficult part of the journey. All of you ladies have worked hard to get to this point and have done everything you can to succeed. I'm rooting for all of you
AFM I talked to the head nurse today. They don't want to change anything except I have the choice of starting a new cycle right away or staying on bc for three months and then start a cycle. Even though they don't think I have Endo, if I do they think bc would help. We have to wait until Dec 7th to talk to the doctor.
@MicronesianMamma that is insane id be so upset and also id be POAS cause i have no patience, @Monica54321 - congratulations!
AFM- the Dr finally called at 440 (when they close at 5 and i was totally freaking out!) and told me the beta was Positive!!! he didnt give me actual #'s but he is pretty cautious so i am sure the numbers are with normal range. and i get to go down to 1cc PIO on thursday! I can almost breath a sigh of relief however we can never truly relax on this journey always waiting for the bad news. for now though i am going to breath and be happy!
fx for all the upcoming transfers and betas!

@hoping4success looks like we'll be in the 2WW together? are you a 3 day or 5 day transfer?
AFM: My husband and I spoke and we are moving forward with our transfer on Thursday despite the sudden loss of his mom. I think he's welcoming the distraction and hoping and praying for a good outcome. Tomorrow I go in for another bloodwork and lining check. when I went on Friday I was at 9.1 cm and my estrogen was finally good. the previous 2 bloodwork came back with weird estrogen levels.
@Monica54321 congrats girl so happy for you @kjplaza yay keep the positives coming love it. @MicronesianMamma ugh i would be livid keep us updated hugs
Any of you ladies know about embryo glue its helps implantation ? My offfice is offering it abd o have to let them know by today i get mixed results on google
Haha @hoping4success I try not to symptom spot especially since the mix of estrace and PIO are giving me symptoms already and I don't even have my snowflakes yet!! I have heard of the glue but my practice doesn't offer it... my old one did.
Afm: just got out of the RE and lining is a 10 and trilameter (?!?) which the doc said is the best endometrial lining you want. hoping bloodwork looks good! we are transferring 2 6 day blasts... hoping they are hatching blasts by transfer!

@MicronesianMamma I'm sorry, that is just plain wrong. I hope you get them first thing in the morning.
