@HopefulLily thats a bit longer of a gap between US than my protocol. i had my 2nd US lining check on Oct 28 and have my last one tomorrow. transfer is on the 9th, my lining was also at 8 on the 28th.
AMF i am still in disbelief that my transfer is next week, the last time around i was prepping like crazy, eating brazil nuts, and pineapple core all psyched up to be pregnant. this time around i think im mentally checked out to guard myself from the pain of losing more babies. I have a feeling i wont emotionally connect to being pregnant until im out of the first trimester this time. I found out i miscarried on my graduation day from the fertility clinic so i wont feel like i can breath and get excited until after that point now.

Hi all i cant even remember when the last time i update was im super memory loss with all these meds preparing for fet my hystroscopy went well all is good we did a endometrium scratch as well as a mock trasnfer we got out spot im on estogen patches and estrogen pills along with lupron i start estrogen cream tomm i have had bad headaches do to all the estrogen ive been drinking lots of water and only able to take tylenol almost there 2 more weeks and ill be PUPO
AFM, transfer went well and I'm officially PUPO! We transferred 2 high quality embryos. Amazingly all 5 survived the thaw! Even though one of them is still poor quality (growing slowly), embryologist did recommend refreezing all remaining 3. He was against also transferring the poor quality embryo b/c it is still viable, and given the quality of the other 2, could result in triplets. I did learn that the reason he freezes embryos at day 4 is b/c he finds they freeze better and have a higher survival rate when there is no cellular fluid like in day 5 blasts. So he will actually drain the cellular fluid from my other 2 blasts before refreezing them.
WTF moment: My mom came with us to the appointment to learn about my embryos and b there for support. I expected the post transfer instructions to be provided by the RE, so we were all a little surprised when the embryologist, with mom in the room, informed my partner that we can't have sex and he can't give me orgasms due to uterine contractions. Just what every 42 year old man wants to discuss in front of his mother in law - hilarious!!
AFM - Lining check today went well (almost at 8). We're starting PIO tonight, 1.5 ml, and all set for FET on Tuesday! Decided for sure that were putting two in.

@monica54321 yay for a great lining check! How did the PIO go last night?
@mrs.bigcountry and @micronesianmamma congrats on being PUPO! Hopefully the next 10-14 days goes quickly for both of you!
AFM - Got a letter in the mail yesterday from my insurance company that effective Jan 1, they will no longer cover IVF or IVF related treatment. So this will be the last FET that will be covered and then everything will be out of pocket. Granted, if this one doesn't work, we would have been out of pocket anyway since they currently only cover 3 transfers per live birth. It just stinks that they can just go and drastically change their benefits. My DH is looking into his insurance to see what coverage he has but I'm not getting my hopes up.
I am leaning toward transferring two this round - @monica54321 what ultimately made you decide to do two?
@MicronesianMamma and Mrs.Bigcountry I'm so glad both of your transfers went well yesterday.
AFM I transferred one excellent blastocyst yesterday morning. Everything went well we listened to 80's love songs while the transfer took place. I have had a few twinges and a little cramping.
AFM>My lining check went great on Wednesday. It averaged 8.75 and the 3 layers looked good. I started crinone suppositories on Wednesday to get ready for a Tuesday Nov 8th Transfer (@Monica54321 we are cycle buddies!). I went down from 3/day estradiol to 2/day. My beta is on the 19th. Oddly, that's my sister's and my husbands birthday. Seems like a good omen. Although, there is no way I can wait until then to test.
I had my last lining check on the 2nd and was at 9 mm 3 layers! I started PIO tonight which did not go great, I am out of town and the needles In the kit I grabbed are freaking for sub cutaneous injections. I had no choice but to go with it and just rubbed a lot to hopefully work as much into the muscle as I can. I have 1 more night and then we will be back home and I can get the correct needles. More bloodwork on the 6th and then transfer on the 9th!!!

@mtpbadger - PIO is going well so far! I'm more sore this time, which I'm taking as a good sign that the injection is getting good and into the muscle. (I had low progesterone at beta last cycle so I'm on an increased PIO dose this time.) I get to call tomorrow and find out what time the transfer is. Both DH and I are going to take the whole day off to just chill and relax. We decided on two because we're ok with (and would be excited) about having twins. We figured it we were OK with the risks, might as well up the odds of a take home baby as much as we can. I'm also 31 and would ideally like 2 or 3 kids before I'm 35, so having 2 in the same amount of time as 1 seems like a nice was to help out the timeline. AND I'm slightly ashamed to say it, but I feel like I've been robbed of a lot of the traditional joy that comes with TTC (surprising close friends & family, being in control of the timeline, etc) and I kind of want something 'special' that none of my friends or family have gotten to experience. Embarrassing - but if I can't be honest with you ladies, who can you be with?!?

@Lavendar83 and @Mrs.BigCountry - I would assume the cramping is a good thing, as long as it isn't severe. I would embrace mild cramping!
@kjplaza - congrats on the lining check! But sorry the PIO isn't not going smoothly- could you stop in to a pharmacy and get needles? I'm sure your MD could call them in I feel that is needed.
@Monica54321 - don't be ashamed to admit that! I think we all feel that we have been robbed of a lot in this battle but I guarantee that when we get our + it will be so much sweeter and more special because of the battle scars we have!
AFM, I am sitting on the couch literally trying to talk myself out of testing, I am too scared to get a negative. I am 7dp5dt and my test is on Tuesday. My hubby and I agreed to test either tomorrow or Monday bc I do not want to wait for a call from the nurse again. Hearing it from her was the worst especially because I had been so sure it had worked! I am scared to test early though bc I have been pregnant so many times a simple + won't help me- that is only half the battle... I need the high hcg numbers to know it is not chemical or ectopic! I feel like every time I get a + our reaction is "oh great, what's going to happen this time!'
When do you ladies plan on testing?
Fingers crossed ladies! Hope everyone is feeling relaxed and fertile. Lol
@kjplaza 9mm is awesome! Sucks about the needle mix up, at least it's only 2 nights
@Jackiem119 Ur apprehension is totally understandable. Ur in my thoughts. FX'd for ur BFP, high beta, and a sticky bean
@Monica54321 I definitely feel u on the PIO soreness. It hurts to even move right now and I'm so thankful for my soft mattress and 4" mattress topper! As for wanting ur special moment, I totally agree with @Jackiem119. No reason u should feel ashamed to feel that way or to admit it
So so I need your opinions... since my FET was canceled this month due to thin lining we are now pushed back until starting meds in December and a transfer in January. This is because my clinic lab closes at the end of December in order to clean all the equipment. So my RE said to call when I started my new cycle in December (not my cycle in November because then I'd be ready for my transfer while the lab is closed). I am now starting to spot and would assume cd1 will be tomorrow. Would it be crazy to ask them to start BC within the next couple of days and just to be on it for 5 weeks instead of three weeks in order to get my transfer done as soon as possible in January? I feel like so much of this process is out of our control and feel as though I am actually doing something to move forward if I am starting BC and getting the earliest possible transfer date in January vs a mid-to-late transfer date in January.
Am I crazy to do an an extra few weeks of bc to get an earlier date?? No clue if they would let me, but my mind is trying to figure out how to get to my transfer fastest.
@jodes727 I would definitely ask, it couldn't hurt. If for some reason it's not a good idea to do 5 weeks of BCP then at least they'll b able to give u a reason why instead of u wondering
Thanks @MicronesianMamma and @Kris10cdn for your reassurance. I know it would only move up my FET by two weeks but when we having been ttc for almost two years, every week means something!! Have a great morning ladies!
I'm jumping on this board as my FET is scheduled for 11/17. Tomorrow I go in for 2nd sono and bloodwork. We are transferring 2 snowflakes God willing!
A little about me: this will be my 5th transfer. I did a fresh cycle last year that was a CP and them 2 FET which were both BFN's. I had a lap for blocked tubes and scar tissue in April (they also discovered PCOS at that time) and then switched RE's. Last month I did a fresh transfer with a BFN. Hoping and praying this will be our time!
I'm currently on estrogen 2 times a day and it makes me feel terrible all day every day! But we do what we have to do to have our babies!
Hopeful for all of you ladies!! This is our month!
Ugh! So I tested this afternoon (8dp5dt) and it was negative (frer). I repeated it this evening- also a BFN. Looks like I am out. My beta is on Tuesday but seems very unlikely for a positive at this point.
I am am freaking out because this is the first time we have no plan. Our insurance has run out so we are all self Pay from here. I am going to change RE's for sure! If any of you ladies are fromNYC and have any recommendations on RE's please share.
I am looking forward to hearing a bunch of preggos from you ladies!!
@jackiem119 I'm so sorry about your BFN. After everything you've been through already... this process isn't fair. I thought Morning tests are supposed to be more accurate. any chance they were false negatives.
Good luck to everyone transferring this week! So excited for you all!
@Jackiem119 So sorry for the BFNs. Hopefully the beta reveals a different outcome. If not, hopefully you'll get great recommendations for a new RE. Keep us posted!
I've been scarce but wanted to check in with everyone. Looks like we have a few PUPO ladies - crossing fingers and toes for all of you! @Jackiem119 I'm so sorry things aren't looking good but will hold out hope for a miracle beta for you! I sent you a DM about my doctor in case you do look for a new one.
AFM, things are progressing slooowly - it's really testing my attempts to work on my patience! I have been on oral Estrace for the last 3 weeks with doses increasing each week. Lining check this morning had me at 7.3mm and all other levels looking good but my doctor really wants to see at least 7.5mm, so continuing 6mg Estrace through Friday and also starting on a progesterone patch as soon as I'm able to pick it up from the pharmacy. Back on Friday which hopefully will be trigger day and start PIO as opposed to the suppositories she had me on for my fresh transfer - she said she's throwing the strong stuff at me now! Slightly nervous for the butt shot but as @ChristinaV2015 said, we do what we have to do! Once we do get a date set, we plan to transfer two!
Good luck for this week's transfers and hope everyone is feeling great!
@Jackiem119 I hope your beta tomorrow shows promising numbers and that it was just too early to POAS and if not i hope you find the strength to keep fighting with a new RE.
AMF i transfer wednesday afternoon, i have acupunture scheduled for before and after the transfer, tomorrow i need to go grocery shopping to have pineapple, brazil nuts and probably some spaghetti squash cause i was told all yellow foods are "warm foods" good for the uterus. whatever helps right?

@juliaann86 that's great news! My lining check was this morning as well and waiting to hear back from the nurse for when I'll start PIO. My lining was still on the thinner side (per usual) but had good striping, so we shall see what the verdict is. I think we will be transferring two this round as well!
