when y'all say if felt like pushing out another baby, are you talking about pain? Amount of pushing/pressure? Just want to know what to expect.
Well, I don't know how it felt for everyone. But being able to feel the delivery of the babies made me vividly remember the pain. So, for me, it was pain and pressure. It literally felt like a lesser version of birth. And that was without pushing. It's fine now.

Yeah, I'd say it's a lot of stretching pressure and some pain along with a whole lotta anxiety.
Started having painful contractions last night around 11pm- a minute long and 3 minutes apart. Went to bed at 1am and dozed, woke at 3am, peed & started having bloody discharge (sorry TMI) and told H I think I need to go in. So we called a family member (sorry cousin) and went. Contractions were 2-4 minutes apart for a minute or more, but only 1.5cm dilated so I got a shot of morphine & phenergan, came home & SLEPT thank god.
The nurse said I should probably go back around noon unless contractions quit- they have slowed so I'm not sure now. But the in laws are here to watch DS and I'd feel terrible if it was a false alarm, cuz they live 1.5 hours away. We shall see!
good luck @NoraAurora!! I'd still go in, even though they've slowed down.
As for the, uh, "secondary birth" I just picked up some Colace and am starting now. It was super not fun after DD. I was terrified that I was going to pop my stitches
Thanks for all your positive vibes and well wishes!! Baby girl M came this morning at her leisure around 11am; I will post the birth story later but wanted to say thanks for all the love
