It's @emmaaa 's turn for the spotlight! Her water broke around 12:30 this morning and contractions are about 4 min apart! Can't wait to see pics of your beautiful baby girl!
Woooo so excited for you @emmaaa!! Cannot wait to see pics!
@mrszoess yes, on Monday. And I totally agree. I mean it's a good thing that it's forcing me to get up and move around, they say you heal faster that way. But I had the exact same thought about the catheter!
i had violet thursday and i promise it gets better. i feel so much better now that i'm home also. going sitting to standing and back hurts but i can sleep again and stuff! good luck @LGW2015
Exciting news! It's baby day for my labor buddy @books&icecream (can't even come close to tagging on her mobile). She was scheduled for a C Section on Friday, but started having early labor this morning. She should have her baby sometime in the next 6 or so hours! Send her some T&Ps!
Hey @emmaaa and @books&icecream, your babies picked a great day; they get to be birthday buddies with me!! Hope the labor is short and baby snuggles come quick!

OMG ladies. I am so sorry I went MIA! Thanks to @mayisch for updating for me and @bnsmith85, @allythekid and @lmnobaby for the congrats. Can't get on TB from my phone and haven't had time to get out my iPad.
But the birth announcement for my handsome man is finally posted! We are still in the hospital due to jaundice issues (apparently babies of certain races are at higher risk, and American Indian is one of them). But as long as he passes his check at 12:00, we are out of here today! After 5 days, I can't wait to go home.
Congrats to all the other new mamas and their beautiful babies! Hope to be around more once we won't have nurses in and out 24/7
This may be more appropriate for the Weekly Symptoms thread, but just wondering if any of you had really regular, timeable braxton hicks. I don't know if it's because I'm a STM or what, but today I started timing them just because they seem to be happening so frequently this week, and I'm having them 5:16 minutes apart (on average), and they're lasting approx 1:14 each. I had 8 in an hour.
They're not painful, just uncomfortable if I try to move. But, obviously totally noticeable. I feel like it's not labor unless they begin to hurt, and I'm soooooo incredibly busy at work I have to just move forward with that assumption for now. But, wondering who else had such timeable ones without being in labor.
@f47 - Mine are regular and timeable at night, but erratic during the day. It's strange.
Last night I had 9 that were an average of 6:24 minutes apart and lasted an average of 1:07. After that, nothing. I've had 3 today, but they were totally random.
Thanks, @CopperBoom86. I am thinking I'll remember what it feels like to be in active labor. In the meantime, I hope these are progressing things down there. I remember seeing you were a few cm dilated, so hopefully I'm as lucky! Next appt is Friday.
@F47 & @CopperBoom86 I just posted in symptoms that I've been having consistent cramping since last night. I get so confused by all this and I don't know what I'm feeling. Thankfully I have my Dr appointment today

@F47- +1 for regular timeable contractions in the evening. This has been happening for me since 37 weeks and I'm 4 days past due- so it doesn't necessarily mean much. Sorry.

I don't know what anything is anymore. I'm just hoping I'll know when I need to know. I'm pretty sure nothing is happening for me. Hopefully y'all are all having productive BH/contractions/whatevers!

Went to my weekly doctor's appointment today. My OB checked to see if I was dilated and turned out that I was 1cm dilated at first, but due to her "magic fingers" I'm actually now 2cm dilated. She also decided to sweep my membranes before I could even ask if that was an option. She stated that 80% of her patients go into labor within 48 hours of her sweeping their membranes... so let's see what happens. I'm currently at home relaxing because my vajayjay feels a bit sore now lol
@SpaceBurger I had my son on a Monday (at 40w6d). The day before (Sunday) I was in L&D because I thought I was leaking fluid (I wasn't), and I was 0 cm dilated. So, it can definitely happen that way!
I had an NST and fluid check today, and asked about induction. The OB said I can schedule an induction for after 41 weeks, which will be this Saturday. So as part of it she checked my cervix to get a Bishop score. I am ZERO dilated and my Bishop score is 4....lol. I will be 40+5 in a couple hours.
@books&icecream delivered a perfect baby boy via c section at 2:20 p.m. local time across the pond. She's doing well, but was understandly in a lot of pain. She'll do a birth announcement once she's had some time to recover. Congratulations, labor buddy!
Congrats to the new baby mama's ! @emmaaa & @books&icecream -- I have an appt tomorrow and I pray that things have gotten better but ugh, I'm feeling like they probably haven't despite all the pains and cramps and more pains. FX though<3

@lgw2015 did you have a c? inactually enjoyed the catheter bc the pain was horrendous.'
