    I think it's going by fast too! I can't believe it's almost October for goodness sake! And we're approaching the half way mark. Eee!!

    since now im technically due 2/10 at 36 weeks C section, my doc told me "technically" my half way mark is 18 weeks which is next Friday!!!!
    Ahhhh! So crazy and exciting! how cool to already know the day you meet your babies!!!

    I was doing my countdown to maternity leave and it is not that far away. Freaks me out!!! Hopefully we will be going into escrow on our home this week and will close by mid November so I can start getting myself in order!

    ur DH Is the sweetest thing ever!!! <3 im going to lock mine up in the safe (i wear a necklace all the time already, it will hit, i don't want it crack my jade)

    Fingers crossed closing happens in mid-November @AverageAsh!!!!!

    This whole year has gone by way too quickly.  I mean, I say that every year but this year is crazy!

    @MixedBerries88 FTM, but I think hot dogs and lunch meat are OK as long as they are thoroughly heated.

    @kap1988 thats what I heard too but I wanted to check in. I'd also kill for a Publix turkey sandwich but I can't deal with the idea of that heated up! Thank you! :)

    Eat all the corn dogs. With both pregnancies I wanted hot dogs early in the pregnancy. As long as it's fully cooked it should be fine.

    Anyone else watching the debate tonight? Politics coverage is one of the few things my H and I enjoy doing together, but i hate everything about this election season.

    Omg! Get out of my head! I am DYING for a turkey Pub Sub! The deli meat has definitely been the hardest for me!

    That's one rule I've never really followed. The only thing I could eat was delivered meat subs for a while with my daughter. I was so sick and it's the only thing for I tolerated.

    @NurseMama Whenever I've been sick, a simple sandwich with some lunch meat and a dab of mayo always hit the spot. Thankfully I didn't really have MS, but it might have been something I'd have risked eating if I felt it was one of the few foods I'd keep down.

    Ugh. And now I want a ham & mayo sammie.

    @kjd291 DH is working late tonight, and I'm not sure if I'll watch the debate alone, because it'll be more stressful than fun. (I'm hating this election too.) Maybe if this thread is used as like a live twitter feed (or someone starts a separate debate thread) I'll feel inclined to watch it! :) No pressure!! That's probably the only thing that'll get me to turn it on though.

    @dubcompanion I bought pasteurized eggs, and have been making over-easy eggs every weekend!

    They're WAY more expensive than a carton of eggs (in my area, like $3.50-$4.50 a carton), but totally worth it for me to not worry.

    Agreed. Past my bedtime. Stupid Pacific time zones screwing with the national coverage start ;)

    @dubcompanion not to tempt... but I gave in and had runny eggs yesterday for breakfast. No regrets.    Andddd-though live tweet-esque feed sounds fun,   I'm not ready for bump political debates ;)
