@peony2418 you can also touch up with mascara as they fall out if it really bothers you (or if you did not rebook in time)! My SIL does them so I am just waiting to get the guts to ask her to do them yet again for me. I am terrible with getting the fills but I love the no maintenance-I can run out the door at any time ease factor!
@longliveregina I so can't wait to bring out the snoogle. I just have to figure out how to get my almost 3 year old out of my bed or buy a king size bed
Lol, my husband and 18 month old found a way to sleep. The important thing is, so did i!!
THANK YOU @mcdonald-bailey and @KateM !!! I want them so much!! I have a girlfriend who has gotten them for years (and so I've been asking her about them for years) and she's always like "just go get them!!!"
I got annoyed at the debate about 30 minutes in and switched to New Girl! I love that show! We only have 1 episode left of the new season and I will be so sad when it's over!
@julievdm12 I was due at the end of the month with my DS and he wasn't born until the next month! -- I totally know how you feel.
It's sort of nice after they're born though because there's lots of good advice (and sometimes a bit of 'warning') on some things by the time your LO goes through it a few weeks after everyone else. DS hitting certain milestones along with everyone else was extra exciting too (waiting on other ones sucked haha). It's not a big deal at all in the grand scheme of things but I get it
We found a really great price on the car seat we want. DH wants to pull the trigger, but I'm nervous to do it at only 15 weeks. Is that crazy? Should we just buy it?
@chrlyr Only you know your comfort level so I don't want to pressure you.

Last year's Cyber Monday, I was 9 weeks pregnant, and we bought an infant carseat, an extra base, and a stroller. I ended up miscarrying a couple weeks later, but we never returned them. We knew we'd have a baby eventually, so there was no point in taking them back. That was our philosophy though and other people might thing differently.

Very true!! I was due at the end of April in 2015 with my daughter and had her at 37w6d so Im actually trying to stop mentally planning to go early and just accept I might go late...
my anatomy scan is not til Oct 27th and there is this huge important meeting that my work is trying to schedule. I will be SO PISSED if I have to reschedule my scan!!!! My OB practice is booked solid so if they don't nail this meeting down soon I just am going to have to say I can't make it.
That's what I would do. I don't reschedule doctor's appts for meetings. I always put them on my calendar as OOO, so if someone wants me at a meeting, they need to work with my schedule.
I'll shift other work meetings around if needed, but personal appts take precedence.
Ditto with @RunBooRun. I won't reschedule any OB appt. for a work meeting, regardless of how important it is, and I won't feel any remorse for telling people I can't make it or that they need to work around my schedule. @jenny0228Since your OB office is booked solid, I definitely wouldn't feel bad about sticking to your set time.
@chrlyr I don't think there's any problem buying one now. Since they typically don't expire for at least five years, I don't see any issues. A good deal is a good deal!

Our anatomy scan showed a happy, healthy little camera shy baby:) All his guts are in fine working order.
It looks like I have placenta previa which, at this stage in the game, is nbd. It will likely resolve itself. It's good to have a heads up though so we can start talking through a c-section game plan just in case.

Why do people feel entitled to monitor or ask about a pregnant woman's food intake? Someone I work with keeps asking me if I eat kale. It's starting to annoy me so much I thought about buying a kale salad and sprinkling it all on her desk. Hormones are not having it today.
@AverageAsh I also found out about a placenta previa at my anatomy scan. They seemed so unimpressed/unconcerned, but it still made me nervous! And made me do a lot of googling. Obviously if I have to have a c-section, so be it, but they seemed convinced it didn't matter this early.

Yeah, it seems that it almost always resolves itself. I just get a chuckle that I went to GREAT FREAKING LENGTHS to have my DD vaginally and womp womp sometimes things just go a different way lol.

I am done nursing my son at night. The last three nights he has bit me: hard enough to leave teeth marks. He does it if I let him fall asleep nursing or if I unlatch him...but only at night. I don't know if it's because he's clenching his teeth in his sleep or if it's because there's not much milk left, but either way I'm over it.
Pray for me ladies. Its going to be a rough weekend for Regina...
I updated my stupid phone and GAH! Why do they have to change everything?!? All of these updates serve no purpose and are just gimmicks..I get needing to update for security reasons but I hate relearning my phone! I'll admit I purposely remain ignorant to as much technology as I can but I seriously almost threw my phone at the wall last night...rant over.

If you are confident your phone won't shatter into a million pieces, a good phone wall throw is sooo cathartic. I'm still working up the nerve to go Office Space on a laptop!

I just want to say, I love you ladies Stalking other boards: if a random mom pops on and starts a new thread to ask a question - example our C-section question today or a nervous mom asking about symptoms - they tell them they should have posted in an already made thread, make comments about if the poster doesnt participate normally they don't deserve time to get their AW question answered, and attack them with memes. Ya'll are classy ladies
Went to a mommy consignment sale with my SIL this morning. Wish I could have gone earlier this week when they had more toys and some larger stuff but I had to work! But I did score a cute supersoft blanket and some onesies, socks, and hats for cheap. I did end up with a couple sleepers and a fleece lined onesie though that is clearly for a girl (still don't know the sex yet) and I am probably completely jinxing myself because now that I have girl clothes we'll have a boy and will have to just save it for another child or give it to someone else lol. Although I don't mind too much for the sleepers at least because who is ever going to see those and be like omg why is your baby boy sleeping in a pink onesie (I hope). Am I crazy? Probably. But there will be another big sale in the spring too so hopefully I can snag some nice baby/toddler gear then!

I have my first cold while pregnant. This is awful. I'm so tired that I'm basically a corpse watching DS destroy my house. He has a cold too but somehow has all of his energy. Oh to be 1....
@longliveregina Good luck! We painlessly weaned our 2 yo about a month after he turned 2. At that point he was only getting milk at bed time and nap time during the weekend. I had my husband put him down for bed for a week and every night before bed, I would tell Oliver that mommy's milk was all gone. After the week was over and my husband went out of town, the first night I put him down he fussed for a few seconds and that was it. He definitely got the memo that milk was done and every night after that was easier. Hopefully everything goes smoothly for you!
