    Month/Cycle:  9

    CD: 7

    WAYDTGKU: BD and OPKs

R/R: *child mentioned* Rant - My 3 year keeps coming down to our room between the hours of 11 and 11:30 which is typically the time we like to BD.  So this has now became a challenge.  I guess we need to do thing earlier in the night....but I don't want my kiddos to walk in on us either.  LOL

CS/Q: Has anyone in the group had "hostile cervical mucus"?  When I went to my doctor about a month ago, she put my CM under a microscope and said it is very likely my CM is killing off the sperm, so this is why we are having issues with getting KU.

GTKY:  What's your ideal Friday night? Ideal Friday night would be no work in the AM and a date night with hubby.  Reality is stay at home, pop up some popcorn and watch the latest animated movie!

@eggplantface - This HP reference is perfect! I just read part of the Butt Baby thread. HAHAHAHAHA! I read it to DH and we are both dying.

  • Wait wtf @AliciaGoose got banned? That is absurd! She is a wonderful person and resource and it's not like she was the one to wish infertility on others like the drive-by poster did!

  • @Beary96 I always thought your dancing thing was like, a Mini Wheat and I thought it was a little odd but like, good for you girl for wanting to get your fiber.

Then I realized it was a chicken nugget and now I know what I'm having for lunch.

  • @adirat that's exactly what I was thinking. I was just lurking through this WTO & her photo changed to the user banned thing.  She wasn't the horrible one in the whole mess yesterday, OP was. I've been reading other posts seeing if something else happened, but that is all I can find/think of?

Sorry to post and run, I'll be back later to respond!

  • @Aurora1973 My AMH level came back at .22 in June.  That was the first fertility test I had done and I freaked out.  The doctors I have seen since then have said that its not the end of the world but we don't have the luxury of time to be patient.  My PCP (who is also my gyno) said 'whatever, you just need one'.  hugs.  I know its a tough number to hear.

  • @Aurora1973 I'm so sorry. That's hard news. I know nothing about AMH but are you ovulating regularly now? If so, then like @laurad75 said, you only need one and you have some left in the tank! Can they move to something more aggressive now rather than making you wait the full "wait and see" six months?

  • *lurking from TWW* I didn't see what happened yesterday but @AliciaGoose what will we do without you?!
  • @Aurora1973 Oh I googled like mad and then (this is so embarrassing) I was brand new here and posted a new thread asking if anyone had any success stories to share  (embarrassing thread clicky). That went over well.  I learned my lesson quick but my point is that I was desperate for any positive info. I was also offered this enormous thread discussing low AMH levels.

Our RE did agree that we need to be more aggressive so I did clomid the begining of this cycle and I will take it for next cycle.  Our follow up appt is in the beginning of Sept and we will decide the steps then but chances are we will go straight to IVF.  I did get great advice recently from a co-worker that struggled with IF for 5 years before finally getting her miracle baby last year.  She told me that you have to advocate for yourself and speak up.  If you feel strongly that you need to be more aggressive in your treatments find a doctor who is willing to do that.  Unfortunately, for us, we just don't have time to be patient and hopeful.  I think its smart to arm yourself with information before your appointment.
