WAYDTGKU: HIO EOD, trying to lose weight, green tea when I remember.
R/R: So yesterday was my day off... LOL. Yeah, it did not happen. I had to let go of the person who I have been training the past couple weeks. Still no day off in sight. Tomorrow starts week 7 of no day off. I also have a wisdom tooth on the move, and it is super painful. I did not sleep well 2 nights ago so I had a MASSIVE temp spike yesterday morning. I took tons of pain meds to help me sleep last night so temp was more normal today. Bad time for this kind of stuff to happen since O should be any day now. I hope and pray it wont be another 60 day cycle like last month.

GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night? One in which I do not have to go to work the next day. LOL. In all seriousness, I am a home body. So maybe ordering some take out, eating at home and watching a movie cuddled up on the couch or having an xbox marathon gaming session.
R/R: My bladder has ruined my temping this month. I've missed two temps. If this continues, I'll have to set my alarm earlier. When I wasn't temping I wasn't peeing in the middle of the night. Wtf?! Lol

@BusinessWife ugh I have failed miserably with it. I have gotten off work late every day this week and just crash when I get home. I have not even been eating very much at all. And now with the tooth, GGRRRRRR... maybe next week? LOL. How about you?
R/R: So last night I had to take my cat to
the vet which he hates. When he got his rabies vaccine he freaked out and pooed
all over himself. I get him home, DH and I spend about 20 minutes trying to
clean poo off an angry cat before giving up, laughing hysterically and saying “so…
that’s no for baby making activities this evening.”

@firebaby688 Have you done any experimenting to see how getting up to pee affects your temp? I.e., woke up having to pee, temped, peed, then temped again to see what the difference is? I've found the time affects me more than the movement. E.g. I woke up at 4:40 this morning, peed, went back to bed, was woken up by my husband at 4:50 and again at 5:30 when he got up, then my alarm went off at 6 (normal temp time) and my temp was a typical pre-O temp.

WAYDTGKU: OPKs (had to order more Wondfos, next-day delivery because I saw most of mine are expired, as are all the Wondfo pregnancy tests), BBT, CM checking, PNVs, CoQ10, water water water
R/R: For the second cycle in a row I got an early "peak" reading on my CBAD OPK (I usually O around CD21, and O on CD 17 about once a year). The Wondfo was super white negative. When I ejected the CBAD stick it had just the control line. I think my reader is on the fritz. I didn't get a "high" reading the past three days. And as I said, most of my Wondfos are expired, and the ones I have left worked well last month but I noticed they expire on September 3 (they're the knock-offs Amazon sent by accident), so I ordered more to be delivered tomorrow because I'm not sure who to trust anymore!
But I do trust my CM, and, believe me, that ish ain't gettin' anyone pregnant right now.

CS/Q: Nadda
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night? Going out to dinner with DH to decompress after a long week, walking around the mall, grabbing some yummy dessert, and then heading home to watch netflix of play games!
WAYDTGKU: OMG- all the things: temping, pnv, epo, preseed (I don't care for it but i don't seem to be producing much CM), opk CBDA-high readings the past 6 mornings and afternoon wondfo - finally saw a line last night. We've been HIO almost ED since AF has been over and I'm so tired. And I took clomid this cycle.
R/R: I have a 7 mile race on Sunday that I wish I was more prepared for.
CS/Q: I used to go straight to the bathroom after sex to 'clean up' but I don't know if that is ideal for TTC. I know there are weird post BD positions that are supposedly helpful but it all seems a little old wives tale to me. Thoughts?
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night? I love pizza for friday night dinner and then going to bed early. Pizza and sleep are pretty much my favorites.

There's no evidence that shows you have to lie down or elevate your hips or do anything after sex to "keep the sperm in." The sperm are on their way to the cervix within seconds of ejaculation and gravity does not pull them down or make them go the wrong way. Check out "The Great Sperm Race" on YouTube, it's about an hour long and is very informative. As for positions, yes, it's all just conjecture. Any position could get you pregnant as long as semen is ejaculated into the vagina. Assuming you have the fertile CM. It's all in the video
And because it's one my favorite scenes and is relevant:
Me: late 30s | H: early 30s TTC #1 since April 2015 RE Dx: Fibroids, surgery Jan 2016 IUI #1 and #2, Nov/Dec 2016, BFN IVF March 2017: ER - 5R/3M/3F, 1 PGS normal Polyp removed May 2017 FET May 2017 - BFP! Baby boy born 2/2/18
Addition to my earlier post: im only on CD 8 and I got a positive OPK this morning-- so wierd. I usually get a positive on CD 10 and then ovulate on CD 11 or 12... Ugh I hate when my cycle gets confusing!!!!
WAYDTGKU: OPKs temping, just trying to figure out my cycle at first
R/R: Rant: Stupid steady climbing temps! This is going to make it difficult to figure things out. I momentarily took out my OPK info and sure enough FF gave me dotted CH at CD 8! (I put the OPK results back in after). So I think there's a possibility I missed the surge only testing once per day and usually before noon. But I'm 95% certain I just haven't ovulated yet. Hopefully next week!
Rave: My vacation starts today and I'm kicking it off at the salon as we speak getting a much needed cut and color treatment!
CS/Q: No real questions.... Though chart is linked, feel free to stalk & give me your opinion on CD 8/9 temp shift trying to avoid Google I already think I'm BSC cycle one!
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night? I think I would get a mani/pedi and go out to dinner with my best friend then meet up with DH for drinks. I haven't had enough time with my friends lately, second shift paired with grad school is a real social life killer & DH has been my first priority for free time

R/R: I was going to start the wondfo OPKs today but CM/CP says otherwise. DH may be in town now after all this cycle when I O (that's assuming I O at all this cycle). So that gives me some small hope that I'm not totally out this month, although we are still waiting on results for several tests and any efforts to BD on our part may still be useless for all I know. I'm really busy today and trying not to bump because I don't get as much done. I'll check back in tonight for replies and what not.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night? Takeout (pizza, Chinese, or Indian for us) and Netflix. I'm way too exhausted on Fridays to go out and deal with crowds.
Thank you @eggplantface. Funny - I just watched the Great Sperm Race and it is what prompted my questions. They really don't talk about how long all of that takes and with the dramatization of it all it looks like it takes a lot longer for the sperm to get where its going. Thanks again!

And come to think of it, I had questions after the video too! I asked my doctor (gyno) and she goes "it takes DAYS to get to the fallopian tube" but I've also read that fast swimmers can take just 30 minutes. But once it's in the vagina they're immediately on their way...to the killing fields.
ETA: I forgot to mention I think my gyno is mistaken or at least exaggerating/generalizing and I haven't asked my RE about it. If I end up having to see him again I'll ask!

GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night?
We love to do takeout and TV on Friday nights -- we both are the kind to want to decompress from the week on Friday. Tonight we are going out to a fancy dinner and seeing School of Rock on Broadway, though, which I like on occasion too.
OMG the butt baby thread is amazing. I am on a conference call right now! I had to mute myself but I think some laughter got through! Thank you for sharing.
R/R: My coworker is leaving next week, so I will have to work a later shift which I hate!! I hope my boss finds someone to replace her soon so I can have my shift back
CS/Q: I just started using my OPK yesterday, and I had a faint line next to the control line. So, I know that means negative... however, since I'm new to OPKing I just want to clarify something. Should I expect a faint line every time I check, and the line will just get darker to indicate I am about to O? Or could it just be random.... like sometimes I'll get a faint line and sometimes I'll get nothing?
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night? Probably a walk around my neighbourhood with my hubby, drinking wine on our front porch (in my rocking chair!), and then who knows what happens next?

@eggplantface I was having a bad day, but "My husband wants to know if you're pooping on the pregnancy test?" has made me shake with laughter for about 10 minutes, so thank you for sharing that thread!
@Mother0fDragons Butt Baby will never be gone. Not as long as those who remain are loyal to it.
ETA: @MrsJennaSheppard03 In my experience the line is always pretty faint or almost non-existent (when negative), and I'll get the faint lines day after day after day thinking I'll never see a positive test and maybe my tests are bad. Until one day I actually surge and I see the glaring positive and wonder why I ever questioned the test in the first place. But also bear in mind that some women never get a positive test and DO ovulate, so that's just my experience and everyone is different.

WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT, RRLT, Coq10, HIO every other day for now. Will start OPKs when I get some good CM.
R/R: None
CS/Q: Nadda
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night?
Going out to dinner with DH to decompress after a long week, walking around the mall, grabbing some yummy dessert, and then heading home to watch netflix of play games!
Married: November 2015
TTC#1: January 2016
BFP: 5/02/16 - MC: 5/27/16
CD: 15

WAYDTGKU: All the things + Metformin.
R/R: Thanks for all the support yesterday guys, you rock. I'm way better today, other than the slight hangover lol
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night? Bad Netflix and good pizza on the couch with H and my cats.
Married: 04/05/15

IVF March 2017: ER - 5R/3M/3F, 1 PGS normal
Polyp removed May 2017
FET May 2017 - BFP!
Baby boy born 2/2/18
im only on CD 8 and I got a positive OPK this morning-- so wierd. I usually get a positive on CD 10 and then ovulate on CD 11 or 12... Ugh I hate when my cycle gets confusing!!!!
CD: 12
Though chart is linked, feel free to stalk & give me your opinion on CD 8/9 temp shift
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night?
I think I would get a mani/pedi and go out to dinner with my best friend then meet up with DH for drinks. I haven't had enough time with my friends lately, second shift paired with grad school is a real social life killer & DH has been my first priority for free time

WAYDTGKU: everything I can to lose weight, more vitamins/teas than I feel like listing, charting/temping

R/R: Third day of blinky smiley on the OPK. HIO has been going strong all week. Just hoping I O before I leave for New Orleans on Sunday. I'm going to a work conference and then to see family in the area for a few days afterwards. DH will have to fend for himself for 10 days. Who knows what I'm going to come home to?! LOL

@MotherofDragons - I am a manager at a hotel. When we are short staffed, guess who gets the short end of the stick? I am basically running on fumes at this point.
@jatwal128 - omg I miss you guys so much! I hate not having time to be on here. I feel like a part of me is missing
@slam1110 - Nope not anymore! I did hire someone and she starts training today. She seems like she could cath on quick. If so, I might have about 3 more weeks of this.

The whole timing of everything is kind of confusing. How long do the sperm get to hang out on that paradise boat with all the food?

Another banner day in WTO today! Hi everyone! And I want to offer my internet hugs and support to everyone involved in or upset by yesterday's horrible drive-by. That woman was literally THE WORST and I am so relieved the community came out against her. Ignore her and her hateful attitude toward not being the most special of snowflakes. She isn't worth it. HUGS.

WAYDTGKU: The usuals.
R/R: After being dry, today I have both EWCM and lubricative feeling! It grosses me out to say phrases like "lubricative feeling" but I know it's FW because it sure isn't my office chair or email inbox getting me going...
Also, thank you all for being a place where I can gleefully post "I have EWCM and lubricative feeling"! Even DH doesn't want to hear about my mucus. ha.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night?
We love to do takeout and TV on Friday nights -- we both are the kind to want to decompress from the week on Friday. Tonight we are going out to a fancy dinner and seeing School of Rock on Broadway, though, which I like on occasion too.
@eggplantface hahaha I'm so glad you linked that butt baby thread! I laughed out loud

WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPK
Jenna (27), DH: Jeremy (27)
Married June 2014
Baby Maya due June 2017
ETA: @MrsJennaSheppard03 In my experience the line is always pretty faint or almost non-existent (when negative), and I'll get the faint lines day after day after day thinking I'll never see a positive test and maybe my tests are bad. Until one day I actually surge and I see the glaring positive and wonder why I ever questioned the test in the first place. But also bear in mind that some women never get a positive test and DO ovulate, so that's just my experience and everyone is different.

I may have to post and ghost today, my day at work is nuts, but i'll try to get on tonight to read through everything...
Month/Cycle: 1 (after 7 NTNP)
CD: 19
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, BBT, checking CM, HIO EOD
R/R: In-laws are in town this weekend so that's cool. Have to move my desk at work today, which is super annoying. I don't have much else. I'm tired.
CS/Q: Last night was the third instance of EOD and DH is already complaining about it. I hope this happens quickly, we're both too tired these days to keep this up. God bless those of you who have been doing this for months and months and months! I should ovulate here in the next few days, so at least we will get a reprieve for a few weeks.
GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night? Sleep. All of the sleep. Maybe Chinese food? And wine. And sleep.
