I'm still making my way through Butt Baby but I got distracted when @adirat mentioned the drama from yesterday and I didn't know what she was talking about. I just read the thread and holy crap. I'm so mad at her for being so mean to us. That was awful. Hugs to everyone who was directly involved.
Okay back to Butt Baby. I'm really not going to get any work done today.

Just want you all to know I read all your posts and I care about each and every one of you. I know I shouldn't let some vile stranger affect me to this degree but it must have triggered something in me because I was having a really good day yesterday and then reading through that thread made me cry and I've been sad ever since. I'm sure hormones/AF don't help but ya....really trying to snap out of it. Might try for a walk/run...or read through this "butt baby" thread that seems to have people laughing lol Anyways, I apologize for forgoing individual responses today

@rainbowturtles I'm exactly the same. I'm pretty active over on another site and we got a drive-by BFP with "helpful" advice (including the classic "just relax" ). I very nicely asked her to delete and repost elsewhere and was told (by her husband!) that I was just trying to "bring her down".
But ButtBaby has made me snort with laughter several times and it's Friday, so I'm off to get some tasty sushi and a selection of chocolate.

@AliciaGoose being banned is insane! She posted ONE comment to a horrible OP who violated the TOU many times in horrible ways and who, btw, is NOT banned, after posting many supporting, helpful comments and she gets the ban hammer? And that entire thread is just a bunch of "Deleted for TOU Violation" posts, but only she was banned? Starting to understand the exodus....

R/R: So I finally had my blood work done late last week, and results are still trickling in. Most of the tests were for diseases, blood type, thyroid function, etc. But he also tested my Prolactin and AMH. Those both became available this morning. The Prolactin looks fine, but the AMH, oh my Google...it is grim. According to several different charts I ran across, my results, .356, are low to very low. So my egg reserve seems to be very low, and even IVF might not work out. And of course I'm at higher risk for miscarriage because of egg quality, which I already knew based on my age. I haven't gone over these results with my doctor, but I doubt he's going to tell me anything different.
If I were still a drinking girl...

@eggplantface Exactly. I thought it was rather humorous that I got a warning (and I'm sure everyone else did too), after making a very restrained post (IMO) to not "restrict or inhibit another user or users from using and enjoying the Site." Seems a little backwards to me...
@Aurora1973 My AMH level came back at .22 in June. That was the first fertility test I had done and I freaked out. The doctors I have seen since then have said that its not the end of the world but we don't have the luxury of time to be patient. My PCP (who is also my gyno) said 'whatever, you just need one'. hugs. I know its a tough number to hear.

@Aurora1973 I'm so sorry. That's hard news. I know nothing about AMH but are you ovulating regularly now? If so, then like @laurad75 said, you only need one and you have some left in the tank! Can they move to something more aggressive now rather than making you wait the full "wait and see" six months?
@laurad75 I already loved you, but now I could just kiss you for making me feel better when I didn't think I could. I should know better than to turn to Dr. Google, but I am a weak, weak woman. Thanks, and hugs to you for being in the same boat.
@adirat I think whether we get more aggressive will be the next discussion. The doc I'm seeing is an RE/IVF guy since I've been there, done that with the wait and see. We'll see what OH thinks about our options, too. The fact taht we've had one CP means I at least CAN get KU, but now I'm more worried about having loss after loss. Thanks to you, for making me feel better, too.
You guys are awesome.

@Aurora1973 Oh I googled like mad and then (this is so embarrassing) I was brand new here and posted a new thread asking if anyone had any success stories to share (embarrassing thread clicky). That went over well. I learned my lesson quick but my point is that I was desperate for any positive info. I was also offered this enormous thread discussing low AMH levels.
Our RE did agree that we need to be more aggressive so I did clomid the begining of this cycle and I will take it for next cycle. Our follow up appt is in the beginning of Sept and we will decide the steps then but chances are we will go straight to IVF. I did get great advice recently from a co-worker that struggled with IF for 5 years before finally getting her miracle baby last year. She told me that you have to advocate for yourself and speak up. If you feel strongly that you need to be more aggressive in your treatments find a doctor who is willing to do that. Unfortunately, for us, we just don't have time to be patient and hopeful. I think its smart to arm yourself with information before your appointment.

Wow. I feel totally shaken. Like you guys, I just can't believe this has happened, especially when the author of by far the cruelest post I've ever seen is not banned.
And I will really miss @AliciaGoose.

@jatwal128 All the hugs today. I can only imagine how hard that is, and what I might feel like early next year when I would've been due.
@eggplantface Oh how I needed that today!! I haven't gotten through the entire thread yet, which is kind of a good thing so that I can savor the crazy goodness. I'll open it up again soon because I sure need the laugh.

CS/Q: Anyone else have low AMH?
GTKY: I'm with most of you. I love a quiet night home with my man and it's even better if we have DSS.
ETA: Oh holy crap. Yesterday was just a shit show, wasn't it?!? Hugs all around!

GTKY: What's your ideal Friday night?
I agree that I love a low-key night with DH and the pup, but I also really enjoy going out to eat and then going to the local Fun Center to play laser tag with DH on a team. There something greatly satisfying in defeating all of the Call of Duty-wannabes that hang out there.
