@annabenanna You look gorgeous!!! Flower crowns are usually not my thing, but it looks really nice in that first picture! I didn't even think anything of it until I went back and reread your post.
Thank you @mrszoess and @krzyriver! My friends said the same thing, that I was crazy for not being crazy about the pics. Lol It's just that I don't look like myself! And maybe that's why I'm having such a hard time with it. But whatever! I'm still really glad I did them.
@annabenanna OMG That image is gorgeous! I'm definitely jealous you look so good. Our maternity session is this coming weekend and I'm going to look like a sack of potatoes hahaha
@annabenanna SO PRETTY!!! And I totally get not liking to look at yourself. That's exactly how I felt with my photos.
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
You look gorgeous @annabenanna! i get feeling like you don't look like you because of wearing something you usually wouldn't. BUT maybe, with time, it'll grow on you.... I bet it does
@annabenanna Beautiful! I can't wait to see my pictures....wish she would hurry up with them!
@AllyTheKid None for me either. Doesn't help DH is on work trips though.
And for today's MIL story.... I just got a text saying "are you ok? saw EMS going your way." Let me add that I live off one of the most popular roads in town. The number of people an ambulance could be going to is ridiculous. I get she cares, but come on, use some common sense here. Someone would have probably let you know if I wasn't okay.....

@ibabyloveb87 That is so my mom. She'd be like "I heard some form of sirens headed 5° due north of your current presumable location, hope everything's alright". More for the sake of it looking like she's concerned and involved than for the sake of my actual safety and we'll being though.
I left this morning to drop DD off at school and run my errands. I finished up my errands, but I also came home with a new dress, and almost came back with hair dye since I seem to be suffering a minor identity crisis and don't feel like myself anymore. I'm ready for October now. I want my body back, and I want ME back.
@ibabyloveb87 - That's so my mom! She heard about a car the same model as mine being involved in an accident the other day and she called me freaking out. The accident happened over 35 minutes away from my office and she knew I was at work that day!
@annabenanna Gorgeous!! You look amazing! And I don't think any of us feel like we look like ourselves when we see a big belly staring back at us in the mirror - it's just a different version. And it's one just as beautiful as the one pre-preggo.
I've spent approximately 20 minutes Googling trying to find some article that says, "Sure! Pregnant women can have more than 200 mg of coffee per day. It's TOTALLY fine."
No such luck, but I really can't stay awake. I also tried to Google if it's fine to go over that just one day. lol. Clearly, it would be fine. I need to just have the caffeine and try to accomplish some work today.
Thank you ladies! I will own this crown flower thing. You guys make me feel good about it!
@Kaessi, you will rock that dress lady! Especially since you're tall! It's such a long dress, I kept tripping over it!
@nataliemaephotography, you will not look like a sack of potatoes! You will look absolutely fantastic!
@LMNOBaby is right, every time we see ourselves in the mirror, we don't really look like ourselves...but it doesn't mean we don't look amazing. ha. Also, LMNO, every time you say something, I feel like you're Cate Blanchett from Lord of the Rings, the wise sage, giving us wisdom and strength to carry on. You always say the right things!
@ibabyloveb87 Heh my husband called his mom a few weeks back and she didn't answer. Later he gets a text "omg is something wrong with RainMira9e" - like he wouldn't have left a message or something?
On the other hand... my parents actually heard the ambulances the day my grandmother was killed in a car accident (while my mom was still pregnant with me) before finding out it was her... so they tend to worry similarly.
@ibabyloveb87... that cracks me up! My mom's been answering the phone lately, even when she's busy, because she wants to make sure she gets the call in case something's up. So I get "Hey Britt, can I call you back?" ummmm... yea, next time just don't answer and call back when you're free. I don't say that, but I'm thinking it. Every. Single. Time. I'm 31 weeks pregnant with no complications. It's seriously unlikely that I'm going into labor right now lol
I got a notice in the mail from my insurance company stating that they are refusing to cover my cell free DNA test from March (verifi) due to lack of documentation from my OB about my poor obstetric history. Seriously, FIVE MONTHS AGO and they are now notifying me.
I asked if they even requested the documentation - my OB office is seriously a well-oiled machine and while people make mistakes, I have a really hard time believing they just ignored the insurance request/"forgot" to respond etc. So I called the office and they are looking into it too, and I started the appeals process with insurance....and called Progenity and they are going to tackle it from their side too.
So I looked up my EOB out of curiosity... $15,000.00 was charged to my insurance for the test. Holy effing balls!! My natera panorama NIPT (which was fully covered, no questions asked) was $2,300.00. Not sure why verifi is so much more $$. There is no way in HELL I am paying that. But of course it's stressing me now that I have a dollar amount to think about.
@NoraAurora Sorry that this is stressing you out, and rightfully so. I would fight it and remember medical bills are negotiable. (also, considering your situation you might be eligible for an advocate if they are unwilling to work with you.)

Oh man, @noraaurora. I hate seeing the price tag for that stuff before I take care of it. Hope it's an easy fix for you! I had a skin test done in January and I got a bill for $685 in like march. It took until probably July for them to get my insurance straight and in the meantime, I kept getting high bills from them. So stressful to see those high numbers!
holy shit @NoraAurora $15,000? That would stress me out too. I'm sure you can fight this, it's ridiculous that they are wanting to charge you for it. I'm so sorry you're even thinking about this and worrying about it.
I feel for ya @NoraAurora! That would stress me the eff out too! When all else fails (read: when you've asked your insurance company to follow up on your appeal or whatever else and no one ever does) ask to speak with the customer service manager. I got to know the one at my insurance company very well while working to get our IVF and genetic testing covered
