I came home all rarin' to go - and found H had painted the dining room!! It was on my list of things to do before baby arrives, not realllllly thinking it would get done, and there it was, all finished. Needless to say, he was beat after working all day then painting...so it was just plain ol' sleepytime in my house. Can't really complain though, the heat & humidity had drained me pretty good and I feel tired all the time again. Hopefully this weekend!!
Everything is all swollen down there and sex feels weird, so we haven't done it in over two months. We probably won't do it until given the all clear postpartum.
Nada here either. Good ol' constipation put a stop to that. Out of town tonight though so here's hoping for hotel sex!
eta: @ibabyloveb87 I'm so ready for the wine!! While I was at BRU a bit ago, DH went next door to the liquor store & samples beer & whiskey & then came back & told me all about it. Rude!
It probably wouldn't have happened but my dd really really wanted to go to my mil's house so she took her for about an hour and a half so I initiated.
Another confession: it wasn't great the only position my husband feels comfortable in (like he's not hurting my stomach) is laying on our sides and I really hate that position. Oh well. I tried!
@maf9866 I hate that position too. I just lay half on my back/half on my side (usually with a pillow under me so I can stay that way) and he stays on top. That's been the most comfortable for me.
@maf9866 - have you guys tried doggie? That's been our go to for weeks. It's comfortable for me and it's easy for DH not to think about the baby cause he can't see her!

That's about the only position that doesn't hurt me now things are just extra sensitive down there and for some reason that position doesn't hurt me but almost anything else does. Good news is, neither of us is bothered by it
Random: Did anybody end up getting laid last night? By the time my kids went to bed, my libido took a serious nose dive and I was falling asleep on myself even though FI was hot, bothered, and ready to go... SWERVE.
Yes and no. DH surprised me in the shower but but he just wanted to 'go for the gold' and was done. I had to take care of my own business later
@CopperBoom86 Just the thought of doggie style is making me tired. I dont have the energy to hold myself up these days. My legs gave out last time I tried. Lol
@allythekid no action here last night either. I fully intended on giving a BJ, at least. But, we watched the olympics and cuddled. Which is a win in my book.
Unrelated: I'm meeting some friends out of town for a concert tomorrow and I'm dreading the four hour drive. My tailbone is killing me, and I can't imagine how much worse that's going to make it. I know I'll have an amazing time once I'm there, I just wish I could teleport. Also have the drive home on Sunday to contend with...
@krzyriver, @CopperBoom86 I told him (as nicely as possible) if he wanted me to attempt this again while still pregnant, we had to do something else! I know some of our old favs are out but come on! As far as doggy style, I suggested that but I think he's gun shy because that's always been the position he can get the furthest in with, so even though there is no contact with my stomach, he is 'reminded' more that there is a baby in there. Haha.
I also suggested just standing in front of me while I'm on the bed because our bed is so high he just has to get down a little. But he said if I'm not allowed to slee on my back, I shouldn't be on my back for that either.
Since he likes it on our side, I don't think he'll switch it up, but that's part of the reason I don't have any interest in sex right now!
We don't have sex anymore. I was giving an every other week effort for his sake but it's hot and I'm feeling gross 80% of the day (and tired of being touched by my toddler all day). I think we did it once in the beginning of July. I personally couldn't care less and he isn't getting a sympathy hand job from me either. You all are rockstars for still going at it.
Does anyone have any maternity shapewear that they like and is fairly inexpensive? I bought a dress from motherhood maternity for my baby shower and I think it's as good as I'm going to find (I've been striking out a lot...) but the fabric is quite thin and I think I need something underneath.

Are you looking for butt coverage? If so, maybe some maternity leggings from target?
Can't decide if I should go get my friend's LO out of his crib so I can start my to do list or just let him be for a while longer since he's just quietly playing in there vs crying to get out. Decisions decisions
@bnsmith85 never interrupt a non crying baby is my vote! Both my girls liked to chill in their cribs for sometimes up to an hour. I'm like that too when I wake up I'm not like my husband whose feet hit the floor running!
My random of the day is deciding whether I really need to go uptown that bad or not. It's mega hot out, and having two kids in tow is always eventful. I can't decide how bad I need weed killer and coffee.

@Schell2013 well... It didn't matter much because almost right after I posted he started fussing. Lol... I feel like he would have napped for longer if he hadn't pooped. Oh well! I'll take the 1.5 hours I got to get ready
DS will play in the crib sometimes for an hour after waking. It was a godsend when I was doing my bachelor's online. He also takes after me with all things sleeping related....I need a while to wake up too.
ETA: @mrszoess@SpaceBurger - ice cream bread link is in the above post with picture I think I need to make it happen sometime this week. Will report back.
@kmolleltz & @krzyriver I'm literally laughing out loud on my deck. My neighbour probably thinks I've for sure lost it!
FTR- I did have to go uptown. I almost forgot our house insurance is due Tuesday and I'm not home so I drug my ass out of the house. I stopped and got a coffee to go, but no weed killer! The lady at the front desk said boy you'll have your hands full. I said yeah going from 2 to 5 kids is going to sure be an adjustment. The look on her face was priceless. i am seriously tired of being told that. I'm already really overwhelmed about it. The extra comments don't help. But seriously my kids are almost 4 and 2 lady when do you suppose a good time is.

@mizzkbrat two more months until wine. Two more months until wine. Two more months until wine...
So, I'm sitting here watching football (well, the Seahawks game, but close enough since the Packer game was yesterday) and looking for a white dresser to match the crib we just bought for #2's nursery (we got this crib but didn't like the dresser that goes with it: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IVNDVQ8/ref=) and I'm wondering what is a reasonable price for a dresser? I've seen some I like for around $250, but I worry that they're poorly made. But I'm not sure that matters since I don't even know if he'll keep the dresser once he moves into a room with his older brother, around the time he turns 2. (I've also looked at the Pottery Barn Kids ones, but I'm not sure if it's worth it to spend $800 on a dresser for a kid.)
@ignoscemihi We got the Hemnes 8 drawer dresser in white from Ikea and love it. We have it in black/brown in our bedroom as well. It's really well made for being a $250 ikea dresser and it wasn't on their list of recalled dressers but they'll still give you the wall anchors just to be safe.
