@PSUBecky23 - Exactly this. I REALLY want to know that all went well, but I don't want to be that person badgering someone who is going through any sort of trauma. Trying to just be considerate and patient.. but the thought that we might never get an update is hard to grasp too.
It's kinda awesome how attached we all are to the women on this board tho...I just stumbled upon it in early pregnancy and, at this point, I dk what I'd do without you ladies!
@Sbrown721 - that's how I was with my last BMB, happened onto it because I had used The Knot for wedding planning. Came back here to chat a bit for this pregnancy thinking "This will never feel like Dec14" .. and I was right in that it doesn't feel like Dec14, but I'm still pretty obsessed with the Randos in this BMB as its own group of mamas/mamas-to-be!
@UnwritteN12 Holy moly! You are a rock star, mama! I don't find out how big my boys are until next week (though my OB was commenting today on the "volume of my uterus"), but I'm sure they're nowhere near that big. I feel bad about being uncomfortable now compared to you!
And in other random news, I had a few completely painless (actually, I couldn't even feel them at all) contractions during my NST today. My doctor says that I should be having them at this point, so I'm not concerned, but it was weird seeing them. Things are getting real over here!
She also mentioned that the med student she has interning with her was disappointed that there wasn't much chance I'll be delivering soon (she was hoping for today or this weekend at the latest, apparently). She really wanted to see my twins born. Sorry to disappoint! They've got more cooking to do!
And I got another Z pack for my unrelenting ear pain and pressure. The last one of my OB's I mentioned it to refused to give out antibiotics or even really address it at all (the same stubborn one who wants me off all my psych meds), but as soon as I mentioned the pain she whipped out the prescription pad and said she was happy to write for them and would definitely take them herself if she were in my shoes. It's amazing how different she is. I just love her.
@UnwritteN12 you're amazing!!! Keep those babies cooking, you're doing a great job! With your other set, were they spot on with their weight predictions during the growth scans?
I too have been wondering about the other twins! Hope everyone's ok!
Argh I can't find this one dress that I have been dying to wear. I just tore apart my closet and now I'm sitting on clothes mountain with no desire to pick it up lol
Baby really likes being as high up as he can get. It feels like he is completely above my bellybutton right now, he will slowly move back down over a few hours and then suddenly push his way back up. While talking with my boss LO gave an extended hard and sharp push in one spot, I tried to not react but ended up wincing a little while gently pushing back. Boss' face and reaction was super funny though. He kept asking if I was alright and if I needed to stop, like he seemed worried I was in labor or something. Nope, just fine, normal little man movements that happen a dozen times a day lol.
@jhems776 - people get really concerned when they see me wince, and I'm all like "Oh this? nah, just one of my organs being jabbed repeatedly.. basically being beat up from the inside out" and they're all like "oh thank god, I thought you might be in labor!" HA! A wince.. and I might be in labor? You people are delusional.
@jhems776 baby girl loves to shove one of her limbs (guessing a leg since she's head down) in my stomach, like the actual organ where food goes. I love ALL movement, don't get me wrong, but ouch! It makes it painful to eat sometimes and it feels like someone punched me lightly on the stomach but left their hand in there. I'm constantly wincing and DH used to have mini freakouts thinking I was going into labor.
I just tried to sit on a swing while DD was swinging next to me. I totally missed the swing and landed on my tailbone. Hard. PSA: do not bump and swing at the same time.
One of my friends just posted a workout selfie saying "Being pregnant is no excuse not to exercise! #17weeks" Oh my sweet summer child...
I've been working out as much as I can drag my ass to do. But not posting selfies and shaming other pregnant woman with the no excuse thing. I hate the no excuse thing that floats around FB. Ugh, sorry, hit a nerve.

I also hate no excuse claims... there are plenty excuses out there. Hash tag 17 weeks... bahahhaa. Sweating while sitting still and eating cookies. #35million weeks pregnant.
@PSUBecky23 Thanks. Now I'll be paranoid this evening that something will be wrong. Also, I go back and forth with the workout thing. I'm really proud of how much I worked out this time, continuing with crossfit mixed with walking or elliptical on days when I can't. I've debated posting something about it, but never have because I'm not sure where the line is between motivating and shaming, and I'm just not willing to go there.
@AnnaS930@PSUBecky23 Out of breath just rolling over in bed from zero lung space + spd pain from spreading hips. Legit excuses. #33weeks
Seriously, plenty of people can keep exercising while pregnant, plenty can even start when pregnant. I still try to walk 20 min every day. Come back to me once your body actually starts changing to accommodate your growing baby and tell me how easy it is, though.
@drmh22 I did CF through my second trimester, but uh yeah, third trimester...no. I'm down for couch surfing and eating and getting rest instead. Didn't post any pics though bc I hate seeing gym posts in my feed. My current exercise is walking the pup around the 'hood and catching Pokemon.
Preeclampsia baselines showed elevated liver enzymes so I've been in labor and delivery for 7 hours. Baby is looking just fine but they're keeping me overnight to monitor since enzymes are still high and they can't find a root cause yet. First stay overnight at a hospital and I think my nurse is mean Do not have a hospital bag packed, of course. I want my dog And my mom

Aww so sorry to hear this!! Stupid mean nurse! I know it can be hard falling asleep in the hospital. I think I finally succumbed to my tiredness around 2 am but I just lurked around on my phone while there to distract myself. It sucks being in a strange place, especially just waiting around for answers. I hope they find the root cause soon hope you can get some rest!!
Nothing like being woken up by H after having gone to bed about an hour ago to be told the dog was sprayed by a skunk. I swear he paralyzes in the state of a crisis. So now I sit in a zombie-like state trying not to vomit from the horrible onion/garlic-like stench while he is at the store buying the ingredients that we don't have on hand. This happened 2 years ago so why we weren't more prepared is beyond me and I feel bad but I am crabby that I am just sitting here helpless because he couldn't remember what needs to be done to take care of this without me. She was my dog before we met but it would have been amazing if he felt confident he could handle this on his own. Bah...oh the smell.....

@mom2adoodle, hope everything goes okay and that your next shift nurse isn't a hooker. I think staying in the hospital is intimidating, no matter how many times you've done it. Try to get some rest and hopefully you'll be out of there before you know it.
I had my weekly appointment today and learned some interesting things from my doctor. First, if I go into labor at any time going forward, they will not try to stop it. Also, if I make it this long, I will be induced on August 30 at 38 weeks. Somehow, knowing that I have 4 weeks or less remaining, is freaking me the hell out! Perhaps I should pack a hospital bag?

Wait, what? Also, all of this is making me motivated to pack my own hospital bag, just in case. I hope everyone's babies stay put and healthy for a few more weeks

Sorry... In my younger years, we always used "hooker" in place of "bitch." It's late and I reverted to my 15-year old potty mouth.
Hehe, I figured it was probably something like that, but I was also sitting here trying to figure out if it was an autocorrect mistake. Just caught me off guard!
