I had my pulled a few months ago, and it really wasn't bad. Having them gone was such a relief and the open wounds in my mouth hurt way less than the teeth themselves did! Honestly the worst part about it was how sick the pain meds they gave me made me, I could have easily survived with Tylenol.
Y'all, I was discussing tubal ligation with my ob on Thursday and apparently I kept saying "litigation" instead of ligation. I honestly didn't notice until I got in the car and my mom goes "isn't it ligation?". My ob probably thinks I'm an idiot, but was too polite to correct me. Fail.
so my top two wisdom teeth are impacted completely. But this last week they area where they are has started to ache like no other. My whole mouth hurts and chewing is getting impossibly difficult. and I just want to whine
This happened to me, I finally just got them out because my gums would flare up every few weeks. I'm sorry, it's the worst!
the top ones have never been a problem which is why I'm extra whiny about it. My bottoms ones were half erupted and I had to get one pulled like a year and a half ago but the other one doesn't really bother me. All of a sudden though, these top ones....
@annabenanna I actually ended up getting stuff for a friend that was on her registry... Diaper bag, diapers, the snot sucker, the windi, and then a bunch of the babyganics stuff. Since the babyganics were buy one get one free, I'll just keep the freebees! Plus I got some diapers for us too! I was seriously considering a bigger purchase like maybe our monitor but I'm trying to be patient and wait until after our showers.

I'm not sure how it would go to get them taken out. Since they are fully impacted they probably have to be cut out? When I got my other one pulled here it was partially exposed and it hurt like a bitch. They put local anesthetic on it but it barely did anything and I could still feel it (and I have a really high pain tolerance) so I don't think I could handle it while pregnant
@amye102485 I did something like that the other day, I can't remember what it was I kept using incorrectly, but caught myself after the fact and was SO embarrassed =/
@kmolleltz Maybe give the dentist a call just to get some more info? I'd rather get it over with than go the rest of my pregnancy with tooth pain personally especially since it'll likely just get worse from here on out. Then again, that's a lot of stress to the body if you can't get a decent local anesthetic =/ I feel for you, I hope you find some form of relief soon!
@LGW2015@MRSCORKER I took my family up to my old campus a couple months ago and forced them all to go to Inosmnia Cookies! My son couldn't believe that cookie delivery was a real thing or that all the businesses around there delivered food until 3-4am. I miss living in a college town. I could really use delivery Chinese food and cookies at 3am now that I'm pregnant. Lol
@AllyTheKid Ugh, my husband does that to me all the time. He's king of slightly alarming but vague texts. He sends me into a panic constantly and then I can never get him on the phone. Jerk. Lol

Also... DH and I are in the car otw to the beach for our babymoon and he's being unusually chatty (which I love). Anyway, I just found out he has an intern. I feel like he's so much more important at work than I was aware of. He never talks about work and it's a bit over my head from an IT standpoint so it probably doesn't help that I literally have no clue what he actually does lol
@krzyriver He finally called me, he's okay. He said "It could maybe use stitches, but I just cleaned it and put on a bandaid"... whatevs dude. Cry wolf again and you're going to end up bleeding to death somewhere one day because I'll assume it's NBD...

Though here they also only take them out ONE AT A TIME..... you have to wait until you've fully healed for them to do another...

Yeah seriously. The first time I got one pulled I wanted them to do both bottom ones but they told me they would only do one and once it was fully healed I could return to have the second one pulled. But it had been so painful I put off going back.... hah
boo @ tanzanian wisdom teeth protocols. I had all 4 of mine taken under anesthesia 8 years ago. I can't imagine dealing with that discomfort while pregnant - on top of the swollen gums and the EVERYTHING else.
@AllyTheKid sounds like time to invest in some steri-strips!! lol! I, personally, have used super glue on myself several times when I've injured other places than my head &/or face, but wouldn't recommend that for sane people...
My daughter biffed her chin to the bone and I Steri-stripped her lil tiny chin - virtually no scar!!
That's how the medical professionals ROLL!! ER? COPAY? Hell to the NO!!! Gimme some glue and steri-strips...

@UponAStar16 I just saw your post, my mobile doesn't give me notifications either, but no he hasn't straightened anything out. He tried to call the other day while I was at work, I text him a few hours later (I'd rather text so I have things in writing since he's so shady), but he insisted on a phone call. Then when I did call he answered, didn't say anything, and hung up. I assumed if he really wanted to talk he'd call back, but that was on Tuesday and I haven't heard back yet so I'm not holding my breath.
Today I found DELICIOUS glaze donuts. This is a brand new discovery and I am so excited and they were cheap! Like 50 cents for its delicious fluffy sugary goodness. I don't know that I've ever been so excited about a donut.
Did anyone else's ticker change, change? Mine has always switched on Monday but today I noticed it changed to 29 weeks... Just curious if anyone else noticed the same.
So I let the dogs in from outside last night & it seems one of them was in the process of killing a rat...and decided to bring it in & deposit it in the middle of our bed to finish the job!

I completely understand it. I mean, if a lurker, who was a reg on another BMB, came over to make a comment like that about one of us, I would hope we would defend our own, too. I love you, @mrszoess, but that was rough, girl.
I hate that an unrelated thread got shut down, but "we" (O16, mrszoes) brought the drama here, so I can't really blame them. We can always start a new thread.
@CopperBoom86 I understood where they were coming from which is why I didn't get involved in the drama itself, just asked them to take it elsewhere. I just didn't understand why they came over to an unrelated thread to do it. They could have kept it in the original thread or taken their complaints to mrszoess directly. They literally came over, took over a completely innocent thread, and got it shut down. Like I told them, good for them for sticking up for a member of their group, but the rest of us had nothing to do with it. And just like I'm sure they wanted to get their own thread back on topic, I was trying to get ours. Oh well. Moving on....

Dang! Things are starting to feel a little more like the old bump. That wasn't a random lurker btw, in one of her most recent posts it appears she's basically a Feb reg but due at the end of January.
We have people in our group that are due at the end of Sept / beginning of Nov.. no big deal. It sucked the way the whole thing went down. The thread that was closed was a great thread, and I wished it hadn't been thrown into the kerfluffle that was started by our own member on the Feb17 bmb. We would have done the same thing to another board if someone had said a similar thing to one of our members. I'm glad @ibabyloveb87 started a part 2 thread. What was said on both sides was pretty ugly and disrespectful. It. just. all. really. sucked.

So my belly button, which flattened out completely two weeks ago, is now back. It must have been because baby was laying sideways across my abdomen. So weird.
I also have a question for BTDT moms: where do you get pregnancy stretch marks? I've been focusing my moisturizing on the area between my belly button and pubic bone but I realize I have no idea!
