I've looked into mamaroos, and I've seen them for $100 on VarageSale and they have the mobiles and are newer units. This one definitely is an older model, I'd be hesitant that it doesn't function fully.
@LauraPCOS - that's what I'm afraid of, too. She insists that it's in perfect working condition, but with it being older, who knows how long it'll stay that way.
If you can get it for $50, then I'd take the risk, but not for $85, especially if you plan on replacing the mobile. And make sure you arrange to see it working fully before handing over the dough (even at $50)
@CopperBoom86 I second everyone else. I almost got a new model for $100 but turned it down because I thought of other things I could use the money on, instead of something the girls may or may not like that just takes up room. I got a couple swings instead that do different things for them to try. I wouldn't personally get one with no mobile or an older model like that for $85.

H and I are on vacation this weekend, and we went to Sight and Sound theater. (They do musicals based on Biblical stories.) They had the sound effect track wayyyy up loud, and I got kicked after every roll of thunder that made my seat vibrate

Late to the mamaRoo party, but I wouldn't have paid more than $50 with the mobile for that model. I bought a 2014 for $50 and the newest version with Bluetooth for $100. They both included mobiles and the newborn inserts.

@Julia70286, yay!!!! I broke down and got the boon flair pedestal chair. I've been wanting it ever since I saw it at the daycare where baby is going to go. The daycare owner raved about it so much, and said with her first kid they used it till he was 4, and with her second kid, they're still using it and he's 2! I just couldn't justify paying $200 for it.... And I can't imagine anyone buying it for us off the registry. So I bought it and saved $63!!! what did you get?! Such awesome deals right?

so my top two wisdom teeth are impacted completely. But this last week they area where they are has started to ache like no other. My whole mouth hurts and chewing is getting impossibly difficult. and I just want to whine
@mizzkbrat I assumed he was fine since he was sending me selfies and the gash was small, but I'd still like to know if and when he's taking trips to the ER for stitches. I don't even know if he's getting any yet! All I know is "he's fine". An hour is ridiculous =/ if he goes to the ER again, it'll be the 2nd time this month he's had to get stitched up...

@AllyTheKid My husband did that to me when he cut the top of his thumb off at work, except he just said "coming home, you have to take me to the ER", but didn't tell me why until he got home. Freaked me out.
