@ignoscemihi, agree with @Schell2013, you *should* have really loud sex. OR, tell her thanks for coming during your anniversary weekend so you guys have a babysitter! Then leave the baby with her, and you guys should go out on a date.... the kind of date that starts at 6PM and ends at 2AM, because your babysitter is free!
@AllyTheKid, yes, I guess an FBF is in order! So is a cookie!
I'm already plotting my Halloween and Christmas decor....gotta craft now and gotta shop now! Because, I don't think I'll have time once this bebe is here! Need to make my yarn wreaths early for Fall and Christmas!
BAHAHAHA... IMing with one of my employees just now and this happened: employee: thanks mama! employee again: ma'am*... thanks ma'am.... epic fail!
It would be even funnier if this was pre-BFP... but I know that b/c I work remotely that my pregnancy isn't top thing on his brain all the time so it was truly just a slip. Hilarious.
PSA ya'll: baby jogger city select (2015 version) is 40% off (seeing at around $320 on amazon, albee and pishposhbaby - doesn't include 2nd seat). Come impulse buy with me so I don't feel so guilty, yes?
@TurtleMomma, i've got my glucose test in 1.5 hours and seeing your PB cookies is making me want to reach for the tub of ice cream in our office freezer. waaaaaaaaah

@Piperella Really? Hmmm... I might skip it then. I'm super confused as to what is going on at the moment. Lol. But that might be because I was Bumping while watching.
If anyone with AC sees a lump under their blankets, it's just me! I had a horrific day at work where I ended up having to send my kid home for misbehaving (aggressively and violently) only to find out that most likely he'll be beaten when he gets home. Ya I'm too pregnant for this shit!
edit - *steals everyone's cookies and starts munching*
I know I should just edit my post and add this question but my previous post is busy munching stolen cookies sooooo....
what's the general rule when it comes to time out lengths? I've heard 1 minute for every year they're alive (that sounds weird but words are hard!) but if I have a misbehaving 10 year old, 10 minutes doesn't seem sufficient in getting them to calm down and realizing their actions. I realize length can depend on the action resulting in a time out, but is there a general rule of thumb? What does not following rules vs being physical with another kid look like? (this all ties back into my day at work and trying to be more prepared for the next situation)
DH made me an appointment with the chiropractor for this Monday and I could not be more excited! Here's hoping for at least a little relief!
ETA - Not that I needed him to make the appt for me, but I had just been putting it off as an unnecessary expense, so it was sweet of him to just do it.
@TurtleMomma I'm back and forth between San Diego and Seattle, but currently I'm dying in this 100 degree San Diego heat otherwise I'd come crush the rest of that pan!! On the upside, I do get to go to ComicCon tomorrow
@Julia70286 I had been putting off the chiro as well. I told myself I could go once a week during 3rd tri so I had my first appt yesterday. It was great! He said my hips are insanely swollen so he adjusted them and put me on this roller board that massaged them. Plus, they have a table where you can lay on your stomach! I told him I was moving in. Also did something to my right wrist to loosen it up because I have pregnancy carpel tunnel. I'm super glad I went!

Just felt the baby from the outside for the first time. I had my arm laying across my belly while I was texting. Baby almost knocked my phone right out of my hand cause I wasn't expecting it!!
Everyone in my city is over at comic con... Except for me. I'm in the waiting room, just had delicious glucola and have to wait about 52 minutes more to get my blood drawn. Joy.
I just hope I pass!
Comic con trivia: one year my friend whose brother owns a comic book store got us press passes for comic con, so we got to go on the first day. They had a magic the gathering booth.... And I know nothing about that shit, but they were giving away super speshul power cards apparently. So I lined up for the freebies... Then I took those cards and sold it to the magic nerds who didn't get the freebies.... That was the day I made $400 and I didn't even try.
I used the $400 to buy a Kate spade purse, treat my friends to happy hour and got a message!
PS What the eff do the badges by our names mean? What is this green check mark??
They are different achievements. If you hover over them (on a real computer, anyway) they say what they are for. Green check is for giving a first answer. They count your comments and your love-its, too.
I got this little ditty fo free when we went to Conan last year, and it's $115 on ebay right now. It wasn't quite enough to make me sell because it's such a good memory. Those Magic Cards would have been awesome to sell.
We are taking DS (2) bowling tomorrow for the first time for my niece's birthday party. I'm excited, these are the things DH couldn't care less about though so I'll be stuck chasing him all day.
Someone just posted this Momaroo for $85 on a FB resale group. I don't know much about them other than that they're nearly $300 new. She says it's in excellent condition, but she lost the mobile. It looks like an older model to me, but she's not sure how old it is.
Does anyone know enough about Momaroos to tell me whether or not I should snatch this thing up???
