Made a rookie mistake doing groceries today: went hungry, without a list and had to pee the entire time. This equates to the most ridiculous combo of items - oops!!

I'm so bad about that!! I either go hungry and buy everything that sounds good, or I go right after eating and don't buy anything.
Taking five minutes to myself after being alone with Reese most of the weekend. And it's super relaxing because all I can here is her yelling at my husband. Three year olds, man.
@geminigirl16 I just did the same thing at Trader Joes. I got home and started pulling out my groceries and don't know why I bought half the stuff I did. And of course didn't get things I'd actually planned on. Oh well...
@marikkita112 Welcome back! I wonder what happened? I would think there would at least be a warning....
@RG1 you look awesome. I looked like that by 20 weeks - I am also short and people ask me all the time if I'm "sure it's not twins?" Double offensive because if they're asking me if I'm sure, they already know it's definitely not twins. No need for that, friends. No need. @JennM205 my significant other would have found out exactly how "crabby" I could be after that.
Hahaha @geminigirl16 it sounds crazier than it is. Usually, I snag a cart with two spots for kids to sit in, and my 7yo walks with me. They're actually incredibly well behaved while grocery shopping and we get compliments all the time. They get a yogurt drink at the end of the trip, which is their fav part.
@RG1 love good thrift shop finds! I'm a huge value village shopper.
Wife to A; Mama to C (2009), N (2011), H (2014) & baby F due 09/16/16
I go to the grocery store like almost every day now....think I'm going to have to adjust that a little when the baby comes! impressive y'all are able to go with multiple kiddos

I forgot you're a fellow Canadian. Mine was from value village
Paige & Jessa aren't my style either but much better. Paige & Saige makes me think of little twin girls from the 80's in identical outfits right down to the scrunchies except in different colors. Please tell me someone else gets that image as well? Lol.
Tip for any STM's that bought or are buying the City Select double: the canopy on the lower seat has to be on the lowest setting for the car seat to be able to clip in the top. I was getting really, really frustrated and sweaty and stabby before I figured that out. I was thinking I was going to have to face the lower seat inside and I was not happy.
You ladies are reading my mind and beating me to posting.
Same thoughts about Paige and Saige. They're already identical, now they gotta rhyme too!?
I'm trying to give the birth announcement the benefit of the doubt. I'm really happy the baby is okay but it is odd to find a board randomly and post. Maybe she was lurking the whole time? Idk. I hope there aren't any other announcements for a good while. Just reading it made me anxious and nervous.
Has anyone else gone swimming and then as you're hoisting your body out of the pool, you suddenly weigh 9,000 lbs? I never swam last pregnancy but I have DD in swim lessons and it's such a weird feeling to go from...what, weightless? Are you weightless in water? Lol to normal weight suddenly. I felt so heavy!
@MrsVoorhees Yes I have had to start walking in and out of the pool on the ramp (so amazing our pool has one...I think its cause I live in a community with a bunch of old people). I started getting really genuinely nervous that I was going to fall trying to hoist myself up the ladder
Also, Saige...wtf name is that. Paige is a real name. Saige sucks.
RE: birth announcement. It doesn't really bother me that she's never posted here. The birth announcements on other boards are sometimes by lurkers and I know we have lurkers here and I guess I expect them to post their birth announcements when the time comes. I think a birth announcement is a pretty good excuse for AWing. I'd rather live with that rather than with giving advice to drive-bys. Hopefully no more announcements for awhile!
@MrsVoorhees totally weird getting in and out of the water. I felt it was weird AS I was swimming too, because baby felt all weightless in there and my belly was weirdly squishy.
@VeraMali that is a hilarious visual with the matching scrunchies.

This is pretty much how I'm feeling right now about a number of different things. Just thought I'd share.
P.S. @MrsVoorhees - That weightless feeling while swimming is sooooo relaxing! I need some relaxation right now. So if anyone needs me I'll be at the private pool in my mind palace with a Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino and lots of cheesecake.

Argh always stuck in the quote box. I don't mind that she announced-- I was just surprised that it was real. I hope all the lurkers announce! Births are exciting
@MrsVoorhees - I experienced that for the first time yesterday. I instantly started hurting again once I my belly was above water. It felt so great to be in the water and feel, like you said, weightless. And, let me just say, it's not the same in a pool without a deep end. I still have to support my weight to a degree then. I've got to be able to float without touching the bottom!
I wish I could stay in the water for the rest of my pregnancy.....
JUST caught up on 15 pages!! I laughed, I cried, I was flabbergasted (the banning), and I wanted to tag like 15 people to provide responses but just got lost along the way. Haha. In any case, I was able to "like" the posts!!
Someone mentioned her DH peeing super loud: hilarious. @RG1 ? posted a cute bump, but definitely not a bump size to elicit such rude comments (um, and regardless, why do people feel like they can critically comment on our bumps at all??). A purple glittery nursery/basement floor: can't wait to see pics!! Someone paying for their own baby shower: super lame!! We also had to pay for the food at ours. I was annoyed that 50 people RSVP'ed and 12 didn't show up (a few did text me). However, we did get gifts from everyone so I was less irked. Someone mentioned not having had a pedicure before - omgahh I hope you enjoyed every moment of it!!! And will continue to get them!! The rhyming twins name thing: umm, neither here or there, my cousin married an Anna who has an older sister named Anne.
My randoms:
An indulgence: Starbuck's Smores frappes. Heaven. I love anything with marshmallow flavor.
We finally got our infant carseat!! The Nuna Pipa went on sale at Nordstrom and I became friends with the baby gear manager who held one for DH to pick up the day the sale started!
I've also been obsessed with cherries!! They're super sweet this season, only $2.99 a pound, and get baby kicking lots!!
The birth announcement terrified me! My random: H is quitting his job in the morning. I'm so nervous for him. His boss is very unpredictable so he could be working there 2 more weeks or be sent on his way immediately. H will be taking over my dad's company so it's a good move. But I'm still so nervous! H is snoring away and I can't sleep! also random AW I risked infecting the general population to go to Cheesecake Factory and got fried mac and cheese and BBQ chicken pizza it was glorious! And Landry behaved the whole time!!! Look at my whittle cuties!
@Megan324 agreed on the announcement being scary at this stage! I just mean I don't consider it weird that she's a lurker and don't think of it as a drive by, AW or MUD post.
Yeah, I guess I'd rather have a lurker who posts a "drive by announcement" (which calling it that made me laugh and think of Mrs. Doubtfire and Robin Williams saying "Drive by fruiting") than some of the crazies out there in the internet world that will start arguments and post straight up vile rhetoric for attention. Speaking of, what is the world coming to??? EVERY DAY it's something now! Sometimes I feel guilty for intentionally ignoring the news and indulging in blissful ignorance by spending my free time trimming basil and playing with my dog non stop rather than reading about senseless violence every single day.

@frogdog06 I really love the way you responded, "someone said something about...." Hahahaha I can never remember who said what and so I rarely reply, I might have to start doing it your way!
Happy Monday, ladies! Had a fantastic weekend and not quite ready to believe that it's Monday morning again, but my husband and I both have Wednesday off, so not too far away to another adventure filled day with my boys.
I was saying to my husband "Tuesday will be 7 weeks away, and next week will be 6 weeks" ... apparently 6 weeks to go is when it sunk in with my husband, his eyes bulged, his jaw dropped and he got really excited/nervous saying he really needs to remind his boss not to schedule him as the only manager for closing shifts at the end of August (because if he left the store for labor it couldn't stay open).
Hoping everyone had a great weekend.. surprised to have a birth announcement but it's also pretty far into the game to be having our first, and for that I'm extremely thankful!
Re: July Randoms Thread
I am painstakingly picking out outfits for not one, but two sets of photos after baby is here. There are too many of us! I can't pick.
I did dig out the newborn clothes and took the car seat cover off to be washed. So there's that.

eta the way I meant to write it the first time

Seriously! I was looking for the "neither" option. Paige is cute though.
