@AmMcc12 I hope baby starts moving soon. My second would not move for hours at a time. It was completely nerve wracking and caused me multiple trips to be monitored at L&D. The ladies covered everything, just wanted to say that you might want to try cold apple juice. I absolutely hate apple juice, but that's what they would give me when I went in and it worked every time. I ended up keeping a bottle in my fridge for low movement days.
I will say my daughter starting sleeping through the night at 6 weeks and is still a champion sleeper. Maybe it's just a preview of good things to come.
Thanks for all the support ladies, you are amazing
No restrictions unless I start to dilate @rock1cherry. This happened last pregnancy and I went to 39w5d, so I just have a weird body. I was also dilated to 4cm for 2 weeks!
@MrsVoorhees Technically, it was rockets/fireworks on a cake, but they looked quite a lot like penises. Odd reason to ban, rather than request the image be removed. If that's even the reason...
@fireflygirl12@AmMcc12 Sorry to both of you for the baby scares! I hope you're respective babies stay put and start moving normally again. Plenty of time for misbehaving after they're born!
You know you're pregnant when you're laughing at hilarious cat videos one second and, the next second, you're bawling because.....well, because I'm pregnant I guess. Stupid pregnancy hormones can bite me.
@fireflygirl12 scary stuff! Try and take it easy is your husband home or away?
@AmMcc12 hopefully your babe is just being lazy like mine was. He made up for it by (seemingly) growing a lot over night and causing me lots of RLP lol.
We took the kids swimming at the pool today and it was lovely to be so weightless and just hang out in the water. We all were pretty tired from the whole thing, so we all were gonna take a nap when we got home. WELL, the next door neighbour is building a deck so no one got any rest. So frustrating.
Wife to A; Mama to C (2009), N (2011), H (2014) & baby F due 09/16/16
@themaritimemama he's until Monday, which is nice b/c he picked the kids up from dc while I went in to get monitored. It's going to be such a long week while he's gone.
So frustrating about neighbors. It's totally reasonable for noisy time, but super annoying when you have littles!
I get to go out tonight child free and dress up and wear makeup and show off my bump. This has not happened in AGES! It's for a fundraiser for a daycare board I'm on but still I'll take it. Now to just stay awake past 10...

Fun times!! It's funny when you're an adult and just getting dressed up to go somewhere is so exciting! Whereas in college, we did it all the time and it was no big deal. That's how you know you're a grown up haha! Have fun!!
We also have plans tonight- woohoo!! Haven't been out of the house much since starting the potty training process. It's just over to a friends to have a Bonfire, but I'll take it!
@fireflygirl12 hopefully you can keep those contractions at bay while he's gone!
It's beautiful out, so it makes sense to build the deck, and the most reasonable in the middle of the day... At least he isn't doing it at bedtime, esp because these kids are going to be grumpy at the end of the day
Thank you ladies! We were in our way to go fishing so I wasn't able to lay down but I did get a peach smoothie and that some him moving a little. Not as much as I would have liked but I got some slight movement. We are going to DH's parents house in a half hour and I will be able ro relax more. Thank you for all the ideas in how to get him going!!
the nutella cheesecake isn't out until the 29th. The B working the counter pretty much yelled at my husband because it's supposed to be a "secret". Wtf? It's on the menu on THEIR website. On the brightside, I still have cheesecake for dessert
I'm a klutz and keep falling down. I just bit it in a wet grocery parking lot, skinned one hand, one ankle, one knee. No belly involvement. I think I'm not going to worry about it unless I have any symptoms?
@kosmo86 totally normal. I've been known to order even the most trivial of groceries through prime, as it's probably faster than getting motivated to go to the store.
On the 4th my FI and my cousin wanted me to climb down this super steep hill to the lake and I was like uhhh I would fall down this not pregnant, add in the fact that my center of gravity has moved? Yeah no.
@jas1982 ahh sorry you fell! it is so weird being so careful all the time (holding on to railings etc) but I'm still dropping things and stumbling a lot too!
@jas1982 when I was about 6 months along with my first I was walking my dog, he saw a squirrel and the next thing I know most of the skin from my palms, knees & shins were on the pavement. No belly involvement. She was still moving a lot & I had no bleeding so I didn't worry. My doctor when I saw her a few days later said that as long as there was no hit to my belly and she was moving most of the time that late in the game they are fine.
@jas1982 sometimes at work we say that Heart Disease is not the number one killer. There's a new threat on the rise....it's called Gravity. Mainly when we get a stretch of people falling off roofs and stuff....
Right? I was just saying how hard it is to predict my center of gravity now. I also have a history of non-agility and jerk dogs who like to chase things, so I really should be used to it. Baby is hyper as ever and no bleeding/ no more cramping than usual, I am going to assume I am fine. As to my pride, the cart guy totally started to laugh at me, and then noticed how pregnant I was and looked like he felt pretty conflicted about laughing. So at least I can take some satisfaction in his discomfort. Haha.
@jas1982 I would still just drop an FYI to your OB so they know, that's what mine likes. I fell on my side in an icy parking lot when pregnant with DS2 and carrying DS1. Super scary, but both kiddos were totally fine. I was in tears out of guilt.
@jas1982 I agree with PP just give your OB a heads up on it so they know. I fell a few weeks ago and dos the wait and see thing but then mentioned it to my OB after...uh yea, she was NOT happy I didn't at least inform them right a away. She said they may not have us do anything but then at least their making the decision.
Random: baby is horrible at moving the last week or so. Like @AmMcc12 the movements have become minor to nothing. But thankfully everytime I eat something sugary and do the lie on the left side thing I get more than ten movements in two hours. What I wouldn't give for a good solid jab and constant kicks right now...
Last night my husband woke me up by peeing too loudly (I swear he is the loudest peer in the world which is multiplied by the acoustics in our new house and apparently no longer feels he needs to close doors). I was up for an hour then because I was having cramps and back pain, and then for another hour around 4 with the same. Toddler slept in until 8 yesterday when dad got up with him, but felt 6 was a better time today when it was my turn. I'm dyyyyyyying!
@KimmySchmidt I love the color of your door! @jas1982 figuring out the center of gravity is HARD. I'm clumsy by nature and have had to seriously watch what I do!
My random of the day: Right now we in the basement with DD, which is where baby's room will be as well. We're finishing out her room with the idea that it will become a play/craft room in a few years when inlaws move out and we move upstairs, so we are just staining the concrete floors. I thought this meant something rust/brown colored. I found out yesterday that we can dye the 'stain' any color we want and it looks more like paint. I'm pretty sure that my daughter is going to have a dark purple glittery floor, and I am so excited. Maybe crazy? But excited.
@drmh22 I can definitely tell when he has hiccups and it's totally different. It's almost like my whole belly vibrates super fast. I know I'm not describing it well.
@Megan324 Yes I totally know what you mean about baby shaking. It feels almost like he's having a seizure? I also googled it and found an answer that sometimes the baby shakes the amniotic fluid and that's what you're feeling vibrating. So maybe that's it?! It definitely is a strange feeling, and agreed, different than hiccups!

@Soon2bemissG have fun!
There's still a million things left to wash and put away, but it's starting to feel really, really real now.

Anyway, I would not worry unless you notice a lack of movement, bleeding, or contractions.
Thanks @KimmySchmidt @Megan324 @jbscmama @VeraMali @RN1stBae - hope everyone had a wonderful Saturday!

is that normal movement? Lol
