Looks like that seller's got dismal reviews (1.9/5 overall) for offering things for free + shipping and then never shipping (either canceling the order or just not shipping and making Amazon cancel the orders) with some people saying they didn't get a refund, but I'm sure Amazon will take care of it if it comes down to it.
I still have the option to cancel my order, but I think I'm just going to let it ride. Shouldn't be a huge deal regardless of what happens and it's not like $7~ is a lot of money to have tied up on the off chance it actually ships.

Which shipper? The only thing close to it that I can see is from Yeonhee from Korea.
I'm bummed that it doesn't seem to be available for the ~$40 anymore and through Prime. Some 3rd party sellers are charging $130+++ for the piano. Crazy that some people think someone would pay THAT much for it.
I imagine there'll be more available at reasonable prices. Amazon tends to be cyclical on a lot of things. They sell out, then are only available at a huge mark up and then come back at a more reasonable price, sometimes with Prime.
If it's actually been discontinued, then that might not happen, but otherwise I'd just keep checking back if you want one. I had several things on my registry sell out, show up for outrageous prices and then come back either through Prime or a third party with a reasonable price.
Don't know if this should be a new thread or if there was one already, but my OB asked me this recently and I'm not sure. What are your plans for birth control after delivery?
@AmMcc12 a shot of breast milk to hubby's eye! No but seriously hadn't thought about it. Hoping breastfeeding will stave off the cycle as long as possible.

While BFing has been shown to be an effective form of birth control, the planets Basically have to align properly and it's generally only for the first six months. You can still ovulate even if you're not getting your period.

Yup. This is why we have two sets of Irish twins in my family.
@AmMcc12 my OB asked me that at my last appointment. I'm hoping to go to an IUD -- kind of a "set it and forget it" method. My only hesitation is that I had the Mirena before, with a very complicated (and insanely painful) insertion and removal, and some bad side effects. Since going off BC I saw the light of NOT being on artifiical hormones for the first time in my adult life, so I think I'm going to go for the Paraguard, the copper IUD. I've also heard IUD insertion is much better once you've had a baby so I'm hoping for that this time!!
Normally I would be all for a FB group, but I just found out last night that one of my own Facebook friends took a pic I posted and shared it on Reddit yesterday. It wasn't a huge deal since it was a cute journal entry I shared from when I was in the 3rd grade, but it was super weird to hear from another FB friend that they saw my pic on Reddit the same day. I couldn't find the post and no one would admit to it when I asked...so now I am super paranoid about who I am already letting into my life. Sigh...
I totally get what you mean. When I was like 6 weeks pregnant my mom emailed one of her friends and asked her if she could borrow her old baby stuff. She didn't understand why I was upset that she had told this lady I didn't even know SO early on when people I cared about didn't even know yet. My MIL also posted ultrasound pics on her Facebook (neither me or my husband have Facebook) without asking us first. It was still pretty early too - we went in for the IPS testing but since I ovulated late I was only 8.5 weeks or something, so really early to tell people. On the weekend, her retirement party was at our house and all her friends were like "you let me know when that baby comes!" DH was joking with her that she needs our permission before posting things about our son and she got really offended and didn't realize that she needed to. Even though people might be sharing or posting something nice, it still feels like they're talking behind your back!
Oh also, after so many of you were talking yesterday about not wanting to tell your parents you were pregnant because it was basically telling them "Hi, we had sex!", I had a dream last night that left me seriously shaken, lol. I dreamt that my mom and BOTH of my grandmothers (one of whom is no longer with us) walked in on DH and I having sexy time. And to my horror they just kept talking and wouldn't leave/shut the door. I think I'm traumatized for life and it never even really happened!!
So how does the Facebook thing work? I never went that far last time, I just lurked the whole pregnancy.
Talk of a Facebook group already? I'm personally not ready to take our relationship to that level. Last BMB I wasn't ready for like a year plus. Too many internet crazies out there. But usually someone says "hey let's start a Facebook group" and then you end up PMing a person with your name so you can be invited.....other fb groups start out in secret. Invite-only. Whoever starts the group PMs people they want to join.
No, no, I'm not ready either, that's why I was asking. In the last months randoms, I know there was talk of a Facebook group starting when the babies start coming, and I was just thinking, "I don't think I'm ready for that". I was worried if one was started though, everything would move over there. Just wondering how it all works, definitely not asking for one yet.
My April 13 FB group started maybe about a month before our babies started coming. There was another one started much sooner and some drama related to that. My group has been awesome though and still going strong. I'd be ok with starting one in the next month or so. FB is way easier to navigate than TB during middle of the night feedings.
As predicted, 9 weeks 6 days sounds significantly shorter than yesterday's 10 weeks to estimated due date. Rainy day here, we are playing with PBS on for some background noise, expecting my fridge this afternoon. Trying to entertain a 1.5 year old who wants to be outside 24/7, living room is already reaching disaster zone but having a blast!!
@AmMcc12 I think a seperate post about BC after birth (at some point) is a good idea. I think I'm going to back on the pill once I'm done breastfeeding. Probably use condoms until then. Although, TBH the only reason I'm pregnant with this baby was because we used condoms after DD was born and got sick of them before we had planned on trying. I was definitely avoiding anything with hormones between my pregnancies because we had so much trouble getting pregnant with our first. I'd like to avoid hormones again while breastfeeding because I had some early supply issues. But this is all something I'll discuss with my OB at one of the appts before birth then probably again at the 6 week PP visit.
So yesterday was my first birthing class! It was nice, I definitely knew most of the information so far but I'm glad I'm taking it. For the introductions they had the fathers say what their favorite part of the pregnancy has been. One dad said the food one said feeling the baby. What did my fiance say? He said I've been enjoying the constant arousal. cue me turning bright red from my face to my feet lol my arms blush when I'm really embarrassed.
My random: my labor buddy from my first BMB had her second baby yesterday... on the outside steps of the emergency area of her hospital!!!
No joke, this is my worst fear! I went from 3.5 to 10 cm in 4 hours with my first. If it's quicker than that, and starts when DH is at work, we could be pushing it to get there on time. I wanted so bad to go into labor before my scheduled induction with McKenna, and I'm actually kind of hoping Layla stays in until the induction for this reason alone.
@Megan324 Hahahaha!! This probably doesn't help, but your classmates will probably remember that for a long time. It seems like feeling into sex during pregnancy goes one way or the other so some of the dads were probably a little jealous. Haha.
@camichael84 Ah! How scary! I hope she and baby are both doing well and...on the up side...now have an excellent story to tell for the rest of their lives! (Though I would choose a boring story over that any day!)
My super random for the day - that new X Ambassador's song, Unsteady...? First, I will shamelessly admit that I belt that song out like nobody's business every time it comes on. Not that I super-duper love it or think it's the best song ever, it's just perfect for singing along! Second, does anyone else think it sounds like they're shaking a spray-paint can in the background of the song? Haha...listen to it and you'll hear what I'm talking about. I imagine the band sitting around the garage (though let's be real, we know it's all studio editing) putting lyrics and instruments together and thinking, "Something is missing." They grab the spray-paint can off the shelf, put it to the beat and voila! Radio hit! (Haha)
@AmMcc12 a shot of breast milk to hubby's eye! No but seriously hadn't thought about it. Hoping breastfeeding will stave off the cycle as long as possible.
I got my period when DD1 was 10 weeks old, despite EBFing for 6 months, and continuing to BF until she was 16 months. Lucky me...
@camichael84 hahaha today I can laugh but last night I was like "really babe? You tell me all the cute stuff but then just tell a room full of strangers about our sex life?"
Which isn't any more than it used to be before I was pregnant mind you
there was one dad that looked at his wife and said "I wish" super quietly but I heard so that was awkward too haha
TMI alert I guess. Today is day three of no pooping. Constipation is so real that every time I go lately it's like I'm practicing for labor and birthing a doo-doo baby, and that's when I was going every day. Wish me luck when the urge finally hits, y'all. I'm not looking forward to that! My dietitian was just praising me for my high fiber diet, clearly she hasn't met my IBS.
@jennm205 yes! I know what you mean about that song. My hubby always wants to change the station in fear that that "static" like noise will ruin our speakers. Noooo I like that song!
My concern with not having FB is the lack of being able to organize social events...I know there are so many FB groups in my town that organize hikes, tea, play dates, etc. I wonder how I can work around that because I really want to be a social mama from the get-go.
@AlwaysAuntNeverMom I drink at least 4-6 ounces of prune juice a night and it has helped keep me pretty regular. I've noticed that if I don't drink it I get super uncomfortable I bloated the next day.
i dont really want to go through 6 plus pages of the thread from being a little MIA, i have been dealing with some BS last couple weeks, a fender bender which wasnt my fault, but the person who caused it drove off so essentially i was left with a $600 bill for backing into a ladys car when the person causing the accident tried to back into me on a one lane right turn yield area and i was just trying to avoid her, two days after giving this lady her repair money my central air went out...it was 102 that day, $300 and two days later i have fixed that...so needless to say i have not had much time to be on here. I have missed it, hopefully all my drama is over for a little while at least. Everyone have a great day, i really am hoping for one, and the weather is starting it on the right foot. 80, no humidity and sunny, score!!!!
@AlwaysAuntNeverMom Since it worked me on Monday, just forwarding it to you. Have you had coffee yet today? If not and you have a Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts by you, i'd grab 8 oz of that stat and an hour later you'll be free flowing....at least that's what always happens for me.
@AlwaysAuntNeverMom i highly recommend probiotics, some are like what for pooing? YES. make sure its a decent one, 30 billion CFU plus. I have been taking them for a year and ran out for a few weeks during my pregnancy, i definitely noticed a difference, i was feeling a little irregular without them. once i started taking them again, boom, pooing everyday no problem. i also drink 1-2 cups of coffee a day too, just fyi. good luck!!
I had a couple of fillings done in my mouth last week and now my mouth hurts pretty bad! Called the dentist and they can't get me back in until tomorrow morning. I slept like crap last night and really hate the idea that I have to take Tylenol (I'm anti medicine unless ABSOLUTELY necessary) so I'm feeling pretty guilty about that. I had zero pain before seeing the dentist and now I'm in agony :-(
@Bibliobebe - Yikes! I hope that gets under control quickly! I've got the creepy crawlies now.
@blondie080300 - Gotta love people. That really sucks and I'm sorry that a so-called friend felt that that was an appropriate thing to do. I've gotten really stingy about what I share on FB and am not on there very often anymore. I do find that it's great for keeping up with family and friends since we live so far away from most everyone. Similar to @RG1 I worry about my MIL sharing things that she shouldn't. There have been so many things that I haven't posted to FB specifically because she will share it on her own page when it doesn't concern her at all. She even asked for U/S pictures from my 20 week appointment. Hell no lady! My uterus, my pictures!
@Megan324 - Hahahaha! That's amazing. Even more-so with the comment from the other husband at your class!
BTW, for the first time this pregnancy I felt like I have little aliens inside of me. Super weird. I happened to look down at my stomach and saw someone's arm or leg or something moving slowly across my stomach. You could just see this small bump slowly forming and moving and then it would disappear. The super weird thing was I could barely feel it. Like, if I hadn't seen it happening, I wouldn't have known anything was going on. Also, if they would move up a bit, I'd be forever grateful because this whole head in the pelvis thing....not a good feeling at all!

But I highly recommend nexplanon, if you're planning on BFing. It's a small implant that goes in your arm and lasts for three years.
