My random is that I've been feeling pretty crappy since last night, just uncomfortable and emotional and ready to have this baby in my arms, and a several people have just texted me out of the blue to say they're thinking of me or praying for me and baby and it's just been so randomly sweet. Definitely has helped me kick some of this funk. But seriously, these final weeks are wearing me down! Come on baby! 6 days till my due date...so maybe safe to say he should be here in the next two weeks?

In WA State, babies also can get free eye exams, I think before age 1. I was skeptical taking my daughter, but was amazed by how much they could actually tell at that age!
Weird. I asked our ped about getting DD's eyes checked and she pretty much said unless you see something giving you a real concern that she's too young. I asked specifically because I got glasses after the first required kindergarten eye check and it was kind of like "holy cow, this kid has needed glasses for a while now..."
At our child care center we offer vision/hearing screening (though an agency) at 3. Then if anything pops up parents have to make an eye dr appt on their own. I'm sure, though that there are definitely ways for Drs to measure any muscular problems with the eyes at a young(er) age than 3.
Ya they looked from a distance with a light and special tools and got DD to follow with her eyes a star sticker. It was maybe 10 minutes and they could tell if she showed any degenerative eye issues as well as if her pupils dialated properly. I don't think they can tell if she needed glasses or not until they can comunicate but I could be wrong.
@kgrgreen I have heard of this and am slightly scared. Report back please if you try them! @LF93 all the tears for your tastebuds. Macaroni and cheese and Cheetos are 2 beautiful gifts from American junk food land.
I have never even seen mac and cheese in a shop here! We are so underprivileged here with our lack of amazing food. Ireland needs to take note and sort itself put big time haha

Ireland just probably cares more about its people than America does. We are all about the overly processed, tons of food dye, etc. The crappier you eat, the worse your body is, and the more the drug companies make. I remember going to Germany and feeling AMAZING while I was there for three weeks, because of all of their good food. Even their M&M's tasted better!
So excited for you @onesassybishh!! I heard about those cheeto mac n cheese things and I didn't think they sounded good, but I'm gonna try them because I've always been a "you can't say you don't like something if you've never tried it." Person .
So this morning, I was walking in the crosswalk to get my morning coffee fix at Starbucks. As it turns out, the crosswalk must have been recently painted. I managed to slip on the wet paint, and eat it in front of a bunch of traffic. I bruised my knees, scraped up my hands, and lost a little dignity. It definitely wasn't how I anticipated starting my morning
Looking back on it now, it's kind of funny. Okay.. it's friggen hilarious and probably looked similar to what you'll see below.
