My little one has really dropped making the pelvic pain at times horrific. I can't figure out if it feels like she going to rupture my pelvic floor or I'm going to pee all over when it happens lol I keep telling her to take it easy on me lol. Oh the joys of late pregnancy....
Waking up to stabbing back pain and stupid BH is getting really old. It's 430 am and I'm in the tub with a cup of tea and I just want to cry. At least if this was the real thing I'd feel like it was worth it but the contractions have no pattern and just come and go as they damn please. Jerks.
All the acne at the minute, I had it on my back really bad 1st and 2nd trimester but now it seems to be just on my chin and around my mouth. I don't wear make up daily so it's very noticeable, I'm just praying its due to baby hormones and it'll disappear after the birth!
@lucy2113 When my LO doesn't feel very active I drink a glass of ice cold water and it seems to get him moving again! If that doesn't work, to save yourself some worry maybe call your doctor just to be on the safe side.
@lucy2113 I agree with LF93, try some ice water or juice to see if that gets the baby to move. If not I would be making a trip to Labor and Delivery to get checked out.
Serious cramping and lower back pain. It persisted through a warm shower. We are installing our car seat and I may call labor and delivery if it persists or gets stronger in the next hour or so.
@Mbondi0 & @LF93 I tried cold water and laying on my left side. It took an hour and half to complete his kick counts which really isn't like him either. I'm going to try and eat dinner and drink something. If he doesn't start moving like he normally does, I'm going to L & D.
@lucy2113 definitely call if you feel concerned but if it's any consolation, I've found that since this LO has dropped down so low into birthing position his movements have changed and been much less dramatic. My midwife said this is pretty normal since they are so limited on space now. I'm 37 + 1 now. So again, definitely still call if you are worried but hopefully it's nothing and he's just slowing down due to his constricted space.
I had the same feeling of baby being less active and went to my doc's office for a non stress test a week or two ago. As soon as the monitors were hooked up, baby was moving around like crazy. It made me feel better though. My doc explained that the movement might feel less dramatic during the later weeks because baby has less room and less fluid to move around in. She said during the second trimester, the baby has lots of fluid to move around in so often thrashes about! But she said always call as needed. Good luck @lucy2113
Thanks ladies! He started moving a bit more after dinner and drinking a bit more water. His movements have changed lately but I think you ladies might be right. I'm not very tall so his space is pretty limited. If his movements decrease again tonight I'll head into L & D. Hopefully he stays active the rest of the night.
So I called L & D. They think I'm in early labor. I can go into confirm and if I'm not, they will send me home. But if I am, this is progressing slowly and I could be in there a long time just letting it progress slowly. So I think I'm going to wait at home and see how it goes. It's not crazy painful yet, so I feel like I'll know when I really need to go in.
So tmi but I've been pooping a lot lately and have had some serious cramping. It started yesterday and I haven't ate anything that would set it off but was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same thing? I'm almost 37 weeks and I'm hoping it isn't anything because hubby just left this morning and is 8 hours away for work.
@TiffRox81 yes let me know!!! I discovered a very little one on my armpit not happy about it!
Is anyone else experiencing swamp vag? I can't tell if it's extra discharge or I'm just really sweaty or both. Breaking out with the panty liners and taking showers twice a day these days.
@kellyj103 swamp vag is a great way to put it! Everyday at work I sweat like a banshee and my panties are soaked. It's not discharge, just sweat. I wear panty liners, but there's only so much they can do. My doctor said it gets really hot down there! Haha. I never had that happen before though.
@Kellyj103 Be happy you only have one! LOL I think I have like 3 in my bra area. Super uncomfortable!! And I can definitely relate to swamp vagina!!! It's terrible after being out and about all day.
Well, my high blood pressure replicated in the office today, and I had full blown preeclampsia with my son... I've also had tanking blood sugars, which could indicate an aging placenta... So I'm being induced at 6 am.
