Thanks, y'all! Hey @datajane if you want to attempt the quilt, the pattern is here and it's free. It wasn't very hard, from a cutting/piecing standpoint. I did that part, and this was my first attempt at doing anything like it. https://annamariahorner.squarespace.com/make/
@Jodi1980 right!? My son's room (hehe I have a son...) is so much calmer and more beautiful than mine. Its been done for months and its such a shame more time isn't spent in there. I love your yellow walls and decor!
thanks love @theshannondee YES! Perhaps an incentive to paint/decorate our rooms but by that time, we will be in their room ALL the time are you planning to breastfeed at all? I have a feeling most of my time will be in that glider pumping away
@ldsjm123 I had it mostly done and then was informed I needed to include more pink because "we all know you don't like pink, but you're still having a girl." So the grays and blues relax me and the pinks are purely for the haters lol.
Finished reupholstering the rocker, now all the big furniture for the room is in! Shower this Saturday, so hopefully I can start getting it organized and finish putting everything together this weekend. It's becoming my favorite room in the house!
My mother-in-law helped (a lot). It was actually pretty simple as far as taking off old fabric and tacking on new fabric, but there ended up being a lot of fitted areas that needed to be sewn, which I'm not great at, so my mil took over that part. She's a beast. The chair itself was in really good shape so we didn't have to redo the foam or cushions under the fabric! Pinterest has great tutorials!

@stephweinstein Thanks! We did paint, but I'm pretty sure it was over 30 days ago. So I wonder if that is specific to those decals or the paint. Either way, we went with plan B which was this...
Our nursery is just about finished. We still need to hang some wall art. We also wanted to keep the theme neutral so when we have our next child they can use the room as well. We have since added curtains, but didn't get a picture of them yet.

For the ladies with decal issues:
I recently ordered more decals from my favorite shop on Etsy, YendoPrint (great stuff btw).
The instructions clearly say:
- Decals can not be added to new paint. Paint needs to harden for thirty days before application.
- If you haven't painted, walls must be wiped clean of dust. Even if you think there's no dust, there likely is.
Hopefully this helps some!
