Ours is a bit plain and boring compared to some of your pretty pictures but the room is finished now and has everything we need. Can't wait to bring little girl home.
I think we are just about done! We're just waiting on the changing table/dresser combo we're getting from a family friend. DH is doing 2 watercolors for me to go above it, and after she's born I'll do the first letter of her first name and cover it with flowers from Michael's or something. We're also getting a glider eventually to replace the crappy chair in the corner, and our crib mattress is on the way! I'm also still working on storage for hats/diapers/wipes/stuffed animals(which were mostly mine and DH's when we were little) etc, so they're kind of randomly placed right now. So happy with how it turned out!
Well the app is terrible and loaded my pictures out of order, but this is our nursery/playroom combo and we are about 90% done now I think. Super happy with it all. Now to put the doors back on! Still no bathroom though- the never ending renovation !!
@HMcDade1 we also took advantage of the awesome diaper deals at Target. We shop there all of the time so the gift cards they were giving out were an excellent invective to stock up.
Yeah.. Target has good sales plus my baby shower. It's wipes too not just diapers haha.
My DD's closet looked like that too.....only for me to find out about a month or two in, that she blew out of every Pampers diaper and I had to switch to another brand. HAHA!

Good news is target does easy exchanges and all of my receipts are online! Hoping for the best
@mt28475n super cute! I like how cozy it looks. I saw in the closet the skip hop grand central diaper bag? That's the bag I'm thinking of getting. Does it seem nice??
@shaylalr thank you! I actually just started packing the bag up to use as my hospital bag as well, and I love it! There's one large main compartment, two slightly smaller compartments next to the main one, and two small side sections - it's very roomy but not too bulky and it comes with a small portable changing pad.
Still working on it. Waiting on some wall decor I ordered from Etsy. But here is our baby girls nursery. The furniture was all custom painted by my friends mother and I found the white chest at a vintage flea market.
So not much is done in the nursery, but I painted the diaper changing table! It was free from my SIL so all I spent was $10 on paint. Doing 3 different shades of gray since I ordered the crib and I'm not sure exactly what shade it is.
We are close to being done but maybe a few finishing touches needed! My type A self is happy to be this done! and don't mind the filthy rocking chair...cleaning it is on my to do list along with the carpets (this is our 3rd, nothing stays clean anymore)
I will be posting pictures of our nursery once I have my shower and have the crib/dresser set up (right now the nursery is still hubby's office). But am I the only one who didn't paint or really do any prep? Don't get me wrong - if we owned this place I would totally have gone all out, but since we're renting and are looking for a house (not living here for much longer hopefully), we aren't going to invest much time and money. While I know this is practical, it's a bit of a bummer to not have done anything at all to prepare baby's space.
@sboston06 this baby is joining us in our room. So I have a crib, changing table, and glider but am not "decorating". The baby won't know any different Once baby is a little older, she'll join DD#1 in her room.
I do love seeing the lovely areas others have put together though! I am not creative at all.
@sboston06 you're not the only one for sure! I lurk this thread in envy as we're moving across the country in late August. I have 0 decorating (other than moving boxes and unopened shower gifts) and the sum total of nursery prep is assembling a travel crib/bassinet and putting a changing pad on my bedroom dresser.
I absolutely l love how creative everyone is too! It's like Pinterest but with people I "know" I think decorating a nursery would make it feel more real to me, because most of the time it just still feels really far away!
sboston06 I also did not paint or anything. Here is Sophia's room. Pretty plain besides her name being hung, made by me, and buying the quote from Home Goods. Sorry it's so big.
I think every baby born in July has the same laundry basket from target. I've seen like 10 of them and my daughter has one as well.
I registered for two of them (one for toys and one for laundry), and then ended up taking them off my registry. But I think you are right...I keep seeing them in other people's nursery pictures!
I am DYING to decorate a nursery. I love decorating. We're keeping baby in our room for the first few months, then moving our bed into my husband's office so she can move into our room. We're waiting because the office is small, and you have to walk through it to get to the bathroom (which is why it can't be her room.)
Next fall, we're putting an addition on the house. I didn't want to go through the stress of that while pregnant, though the stress of it with a 1 year old and a 3.5 year old might be close
I'm about 95% done. Not sure what I'm going to do with myself from now on. We didn't paint but picked this color when we moved in because we knew it would work for a nursery.

Waiting on the last pieces of bedding and hanging a few things on the wall but we are almost there!

The carrier and the R canvas are the only two things we changed from #3. Poor baby #4 lol! We aren't even planning to move so no excuse here.

We haven't started the nursery yet (whoops!), but that is exactly what I had pictured doing
