How long were you trying? 5 months ago, we decided to try for a little one. We got pregnant right away in the first cycle but miscarried at 4 1/2 weeks. We just found out we're pregnant again! Hoping praying and wishing for a healthy 9 month pregnancy and healthy baby next January. They've already started me on progesterone supplements due to low levels. We're hoping that's what caused the first miscarriage and that's our only fertility issue.

I knew this cycle felt a bit different so I was hopeful yet very cautious. I wasn't doing all the right things (rarely taking vitamins/drank some) the last few cycles because I had been given some pretty rough news about my PCOS and my husband's SA so I figured it wouldn't happen for us anytime soon. Eventually my husband's tests came back better so we were going to start treatment for me next cycle to see if it would help and BAM here I am, in a January bump board before any medical intervention. So excited!!

- Tell us a little about yourself! DH and I are in our late 20's. We've been best friends since we were 12, so he's been a major part of every aspect of my adult life! You could say that I am pretty balanced about everything in my life: I love to be lazy and watch tv/movies, but I also love to get active and play sports, go to the gym, etc. I'm a nerd and love playing video games/board games. I love learning new things and am a total science nut! I have an incredibly huge soft spot for animals: I would have 100 cats and dogs if DH would let me! I suffer from moderate depression and anxiety, which I usually treat with medication and therapy. Being off my meds while TTC has actually gone smoothly so far, but I have trouble with certain situations sometimes. I have felt the calling to be a mother since a very young age. We waited until we had been married for a few years, got our careers on track, and felt financially ready...and now we are overjoyed to be expanding our family!!!

I am 28, DH is 29. Both attorneys in the NYC area. Struggled for 10 months to get pregnant, were seeing an RE when I got pregnant naturally in March. Unfortunately that ended with a miscarriage at 4 weeks. We were going to stop trying for a little while, but one morning we got carried away and here we are! I found out 5 days ago. I can't believe how long it took us initially and then to get pregnant twice in three months. I had an HSG done in March and they say that can help clear some cobwebs, and I definitely believe it!
Right now I'm just trying to get to various milestones past where I lost the last one so that I can finally relax. This feels very surreal and I don't feel quite excited yet, since I am so nervous. I think I have spent $200 on FRER so i can track progression until my doctor's appointment!

How long were you trying? 2 years 1 month. We've been through the ringer to get here. Had surgery last year to remove a uterine polyp and have been doing all of the fertility testing along the way. Actually stopped "trying" in February because the negative tests were wearing me down emotionally. Found out my 4 year old nephew has Leukemia and was so focused on that we didn't even chart the month of April. Got a positive test April 30th.

Hello ladies! I'm super excited about my pregnancy. I found out on April 26th with an EDD of January 8th. My DH and I are 29 with a 2 year old son. This pregnancy is going to be very different than the one I experienced with my DS, but I'm ready for the journey. My DH took on an international assignment and moved to Mexico in January with a few home visits in March and April (hence the pregnancy). During his last visit home, we decided to try and got very lucky! My DS and I will be moving to Mexico at the end of June (end of the school year-- I'm a teacher) to join my husband. That being said, I won't have my DH around for the first trimester which makes me sad and makes being pregnant very difficult with a 2 year old. However, I'm excited for us to be together again in June! With that though, comes being away from my family (mom and sister) during the rest of my pregnancy which also makes me sad. (Thank goodness for FaceTime and social media.) Our plan is to come home in December for the birth and I'll stay until the baby is cleared to move to Mexico which will probably be the end of February. Then we will all join my husband, again. Anyway, I loved everything about my last pregnancy, and I hope for another beautiful experience. I look forward to sharing cravings, HDBD, and complaining with the rest of you!

I looked at it quickly and only saw the one bold line and said "Nope!" then did a double take. Two more pregnancy tests and it's a BFP. We are very excited but also pretty overwhelmed.

I'm 34, my H is 39 and we just celebrated our 5 year anniversary. We live in NC and are looking forward to completing our family with this kiddo!

How long were you trying (if you were)?
Over a year and a half of actively TTC. We were seeing a RE and I was about to start Clomid next month due to my PCOS. It has been a tough tough journey and I feel so blessed to have my first BFP!

My name is Sarah, I am 28, married 2 years in July. This BFP is such a surprise to me... I knew this cycle felt a bit different so I was hopeful yet very cautious. I wasn't doing all the right things (rarely taking vitamins/drank some) the last few cycles because I had been given some pretty rough news about my PCOS and my husband's SA so I figured it wouldn't happen for us anytime soon. Eventually my husband's tests came back better so we were going to start treatment for me next cycle to see if it would help and BAM here I am, in a January bump board before any medical intervention. So excited!!
Not sure yet! Will find out at the dating ultrasound! Probably mid January.
- How long were you trying (if you were)?
We started trying for #1 Sept 2014. I miscarried Jan 2015 and July 2015. Between RPL testing, a small surgery to fix a small uterine septum and a depression spiral, we took a 9 month break. This was our first cycle back off the bench.

I am the office manager of an indoor shooting range, and my husband is a gunsmith (and owns his own business). We don't have much of a life outside of our work, so this is going to be a major life change for us but we could not be more thrilled!
outside of work we enjoy camping with our two dogs (half mastiff half dachshund....yes you read that correctly), kayaking, wine tasting (currently on pause for me), and generally anything that gets us outside.

I went off HBC on New Year's. It took us 4 cycles to get a BFP!

DH and I are in our late 20's. We've been best friends since we were 12, so he's been a major part of every aspect of my adult life! You could say that I am pretty balanced about everything in my life: I love to be lazy and watch tv/movies, but I also love to get active and play sports, go to the gym, etc. I'm a nerd and love playing video games/board games. I love learning new things and am a total science nut! I have an incredibly huge soft spot for animals: I would have 100 cats and dogs if DH would let me! I suffer from moderate depression and anxiety, which I usually treat with medication and therapy. Being off my meds while TTC has actually gone smoothly so far, but I have trouble with certain situations sometimes. I have felt the calling to be a mother since a very young age. We waited until we had been married for a few years, got our careers on track, and felt financially ready...and now we are overjoyed to be expanding our family!!!

- How long were you trying (if you were)? I stopped BCP last August then we started trying in about November and recently moved to NTNP, which somehow worked out for us.
- Is this your first child/do you have any other children? This is my second. I have a DS who is three. He will be four in January. Who knows, they may share a birthday. I guess January (or April) is our magic month.
- Tell us a little about yourself! I am originally form Minnesota and now I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I work in PR and I am still a little in shock over my BFP. I took a test just to make sure I could drink some wine last night and was really surprised when my EPT digital didn't have the word "Not" in front of "Pregnant"

My name is Lindsay and I live in Milwaukee, WI. I am an HR assistant and My husband (Jim) is an accountant. We have been together since High school (9 years) and just got married in September. My husband and I live in Ankeny, Iowa. We're just coming up in a year in our new house that we expanded to for a family. My closest immediate family is 10 hours away so it's tough not to have them near for support during this time. Hoping the in-laws can fill the void a bit for me!
- How long were you trying (if you were)? Hubby and I met & married late so after 9 months trying on our own (and clock loudly ticking) we went to the RE for Fertility testing. Due to my age (and other issues) did IVF with ICSI (highest chance of success versus IUI). It was the first try & BFP - so far so great and praying that the embryos are healthy and developing!!!
- Is this your first child? YES, this is our First child! :-)

I am 28, DH is 29. Both attorneys in the NYC area. Struggled for 10 months to get pregnant, were seeing an RE when I got pregnant naturally in March. Unfortunately that ended with a miscarriage at 4 weeks. We were going to stop trying for a little while, but one morning we got carried away and here we are! I found out 5 days ago. I can't believe how long it took us initially and then to get pregnant twice in three months. I had an HSG done in March and they say that can help clear some cobwebs, and I definitely believe it!
Right now I'm just trying to get to various milestones past where I lost the last one so that I can finally relax. This feels very surreal and I don't feel quite excited yet, since I am so nervous. I think I have spent $200 on FRER so i can track progression until my doctor's appointment!

How long were you trying?
2 years 1 month. We've been through the ringer to get here. Had surgery last year to remove a uterine polyp and have been doing all of the fertility testing along the way. Actually stopped "trying" in February because the negative tests were wearing me down emotionally. Found out my 4 year old nephew has Leukemia and was so focused on that we didn't even chart the month of April. Got a positive test April 30th.

I'm 35, live in So Cal, work at Starbucks and just moved from the beautiful state of Montana, which is where I met my husband, so that he can start a school program this August.
My DH took on an international assignment and moved to Mexico in January with a few home visits in March and April (hence the pregnancy). During his last visit home, we decided to try and got very lucky! My DS and I will be moving to Mexico at the end of June (end of the school year-- I'm a teacher) to join my husband. That being said, I won't have my DH around for the first trimester which makes me sad and makes being pregnant very difficult with a 2 year old. However, I'm excited for us to be together again in June! With that though, comes being away from my family (mom and sister) during the rest of my pregnancy which also makes me sad. (Thank goodness for FaceTime and social media.)
Our plan is to come home in December for the birth and I'll stay until the baby is cleared to move to Mexico which will probably be the end of February. Then we will all join my husband, again.
Anyway, I loved everything about my last pregnancy, and I hope for another beautiful experience. I look forward to sharing cravings, HDBD, and complaining with the rest of you!

I'm 28 y/o and my husband is 27. I am an aerospace engineer and volunteer EMT (although not anymore!), grad student in systems engineering and book nerd. We've been married for a year and a half. I had no idea I was pregnant. I spotted a bit and my period didn't come as expected, so on Friday morning I took a test, expecting it to be negative. I looked at it quickly and only saw the one bold line and said "Nope!" then did a double take. Two more pregnancy tests and it's a BFP. We are very excited but also pretty overwhelmed.

We have our 3 yr old who was a very welcome surprise we found out about only about a week after getting married as well as two big fur babies, a golden doodle and a rescue mutt who we don't even try to define haha After a year of trying for number 2 with no success, we started working with a wonderful RE and, three IUIs later, here we are with our bfp! I'm ridiculously excited but terrified at the same time! Fingers crossed that this little one is strong and healthy!

I'm a chemo infusion nurse at a local oncology office. The day I found out I was pregnant, I was able to stop giving chemotherapy in the office. Kinda scary to think about considering our ttc journey. I LOVE kickboxing, pastries and staying in to watch Amazon prime. I also already miss wine.

Tell us a little about yourself!
I became a SAHM when DD was born and have really enjoyed seeing her grow and learn. Before her, I was full time as a HR assistant. We reside in NorCal but DH is currently job hunting so we can get out of this increasingly high cost of living bubble. Aside from taking care of DD, I enjoy being a bum, watching TV shows, going on long walks as a family (whether it's around the neighborhood, a lake or a mountain). I also care about fitness but have not done very well doing it in the past year. I can't wait to get to know y'all!
