Congrats @ALC08 One day apart after having the same due date! Our babes must have been on the same page! I bet he is just so delicious! Enjoy every moment!
My rainbow was born yesterday, Apr 21, three days before her due date. Started feeling contractions around 11 am, went to hospital at 3 pm, by then contractions were coming fast and painful so got epidural at 5 PM, and she was out with 3 pushes at 10 pm! She's got a head full of hair and is a squishy little thing, we are in love!

@skydance My friend who just had her 2nd child actually nudged me the other day about breastfeeding. She said that it can take time for milk to come in, but to be patient and keep trying till it does rather than substituting with formula. She said she stuck it out this time around and it's certainly made things a lot easier and faster by trying instead of giving into formula. Obviously I dunno how hard it is yet, but i hope I can stick it out with EBF.
Made it to 32 weeks and so excited to be meeting my little one in the next 8 or so weeks!!! I love seeing pictures of the rainbows on here and all of the happy stories. I can't believe this is happening for us and I am so thrilled to see what the next few weeks holds. I honestly never thought I would be part of a group of women where I would also get to be sharing in the experience of preparing for birth!! It's been a journey.
I just had my bloody show and I have banana cake baking in the oven. It really helped to not think about the cramping. Hope the contractions come soon for a quick and swift delivery!

WHEW!! Finally! This FTM has been thrown for a loop Baby Eli was born April 13th @ 5:46p.m. after starting contractions at 7 the night before. Went to the hospital at 5 a.m. made it to about 5cm or so before having an epidural (twice because he hit a vessel the first time and had to re-do it) and by the time I was pushing it was doing nothing for me! So I guess in a way I ended up having a natural childbirth, minus the strongest contractions! The Dr. barely made it in time, they brought another in on stand by. I ended up having major repairs as well. It has been crazy and stressful and hard but I am so thankful he is here and healthy. Even though he was just shy of 39 wks the nurse said he was well done. Looks like the dr was right with the first DD of April 15th!
Congratulations been freaking out about my upcoming labor but this makes me so happy to see I'm sure your enjoying every minute with your new little guy!
I wrote on the April Rainbows post but wanted to update here too. My rainbow princess arrived at 10:42pm on May 4th after about 36 hours of labor. I can't believe she is ours!
