This is for all the people that said "it's not" because the only thing that led me to believe it was twins,
was a feeling of knowing, and 2 dreams about twins, one of which I dreamed of before I found out
that I was even pregnant:
Because twins run rampant in my family on both sides, (I was supposed to be a twin as well, my dad was a twin,
and we have three other sets in the family.) I had my first prenatal appointment today and she said that I'm 6 weeks,
measuring a whole MONTH bigger. She said the only 2 things it could be is extra amniotic fluid which is unlikely
this early, or 2 babies. My ultrasound is on the 30th and we will know for sure. I'm already showing.
The only thing I know right now, is that I am definitely having a c-section due to my bone structure,
just like my mom.
Re: My intuition was right. DR said there's a high chance of twins.
Also just to add, all of the women on that thread were very kind to you and hoped that you would get your wish of multiples and to update them whenever you find out. So I find this thread very odd.
And the snotty attitude? Very offputting. You won't make friends here that way.
Yes, it's possible for you to be pregnant with twins, but we were just letting you know to not go buy matching cribs just yet. If you do have twins, then that's amazing! Twins are definitely a double blessing. But if it's not, you're just setting yourself for disappointment when there's no need for it.
I suggest if you're going to be a more active member to join your birth month board and connect with others who are on the same time line as you with pregnancy. You can compare symptoms, aches and pains and perhaps bond with them.
H&h 9 months.
Sure.
I hope you realize what all twins entail. They are not fashion accessories so I don't understand why people wish/want them so bad. Don't get me wrong I adore my twins but I don't think people like you that desire them so much really understand the amount of possible health issues you are wishing for.

#2 - you still don't know if you're pregnant with twins. This post is a little pre-emptive. It would be more compelling if you actually had had an ultrasound that had shown twins.
#2 - it's lots of fun to guess what's going on in your pregnancy with your SO or friends (is it twins? boy or girl?). But internet strangers don't care. I'm sure the people on the multiples board get posts several times per week from women who aren't having twins but think they are. I'm sure that gets tiring. It's like when people post on here about how they think they're pregnant but they don't have a positive pregnancy test. No one knows if you're pregnant or not if you don't have a positive test. No one knows if you're having twins or not if you haven't had an ultrasound. And none of us are really invested in the outcome except for you... That is why you're getting the response you're getting.
Second, why is your doctor measuring your bloat? I'm pretty sure you could measure me right now and I'd be about 20 weeks I get so bloated through the day. At six weeks, the baby (or babies) are the size of rainbow sprinkles...not exactly big enough to make a difference in how you measure.
Third, there's no need to be so rude. No one on the multiples board was rude to you, we simply pointed out that there's no way to know if you're pregnant with multiples until you have an ultrasound. So you still don't actually know anything more than you did in your last post.
I don't know why you're wishing to hard for twins. I'm having spontaneous twins and I'm so nervous about all the potential complications and possibility of having micropreemies etc and I'm carry the least risky kind of twins. First things out of my OBs mouth was, "Okay I have to give you my scary twin speech". Sure it's amazing, and a blessing but it's also high risk, not always a walk in the park.
i have no words. I hope you are far more mature in real life than on the Internet.
Also YOU are the one who came and just made this random attack.. you're not even on the correct board AND you don't even know that you're having twins.
Honestly, you sound like you're having a really hard time in life right now, I hope things get easier for you. And if you are in fact having twins I hope that you are prepared for all that entails.
(Fyi, this is from someone who actually has twins and didn't just dream them up.)
Even at 6 weeks, your uterus is still behind your pelvis... So either you misheard your dr or she's a freaking quack job and you need a new one. Or you're a troll and need to go away.
I wasnt going to comment, but then you decided to attack other women, claiming that we are all old and dried up and jealous.. BS. It is SCIENCE that says you don't know if it's twins until your first u/s. I had a strong feeling there was a possibility I was carrying twins. Guess what? It's only one. And I'm actually a little relieved because of the fact that it automatically puts you at a higher risk of your babies being premature (not to be confused with actually being diagnosed as a high risk pregnancy).
Go tell your BMB about this. You're seriously making yourself look like a fool and an idiot to a bunch of women who were merely trying to help you not get your hopes up.
And reported as well.
Hey @ialreadyloveyou- I'm one of those miserable & charting everything TTC girls. Coming out of lurking to say WHAT. THE. FUCK.
This is the most hateful thing I've ever read. You sound like a truly awful person. Also - it sounds like you have it all figured out, so maybe you should take your shitty attitude elsewhere.

Re: your other comment, go kick rocks in flip flops.
Oh, and congratulations on getting knocked up without trying. That's truly an accomplishment literally nobody else in the history of pregnancy has ever been able to achieve. I mean really, you totally deserve your own holiday.
