Re: April FET buddies

  • LynnNJ - I'm so sorry! Wallow in it for a while you deserve that. We have to allow ourselves to process it all. I loved your post from yesterday though where you listed all of the reasons why May could end up being a better month. Hoping they find a good mix of meds that will help with your lining. My RE had me start taking a baby asprin, vitamin C & vitamin E like a month before transfer. I'm pretty sure it was to help with lining. Maybe ask your RE about it.

@halips  and @WishingforLuck -can't wait to hear about your results today!

LeanneB82 - Today's the day!!! FX for sticky transfer

  • @Griffin5413 Thank you! I will either get an email from the nurse or the doctor will call later. I am so glad she called me to let me know there was a chance the cycle would be canceled. If she cancels it now, I won't be n shock. The funny thing was after writing the last post, I walked into a convenience store to treat myself to (decaf) coffee and a breakfast burrito (my comfort food, but I made it somewhat healthy :) ) and I bumped into someone I knew. It's not like it was a friend, but it was a handyman that worked with us all last summer on a big project. It was just a snap back into reality and I started feeling a little better. Anyway, your suggestions are helpful. I've heard of the baby aspirin.
  • Just left the RE and we have one 8 cell day 3 that looked great and a 5 cell day 3 that was so so. They did assisted hatching to help them break through so hoping they love my uterus the next few days!! Everything is in so I'm officially PUPO!! Headed home to lay on the couch and watch Netflix for the day.  :)

@LynnNJ I also took a cocktail of low dose aspirin with prenatals and Folbic the entire time before I started Lupron and Estradiol. I'm hoping they find the right cocktail for your lining.

I've had lots of starts and stops on this IVF cycle since January and every time one of the stops has been a blessing so I love your positivity from your post about maybe May being better.

@LynnNJ sorry to hear that. Don't lose hope and try to stay positive. Praying for the best for you!

    @LeanneB82 congrats on being PUPO!

As for me my beta came back and I am not pregnant. I am sad but I also kind of knew because I POAS and got a whole bunch of negatives. BTW my beta was 3.
I am thinking about changing RE's because I've been with this facility for 2 years and a number of things have gone wrong.
Update: I have made a appointment with a new RE. I think the reason I got a negative beta were a number of things. They didn't want to give me a note for 2 weeks off even though my job is a physical job. I had issues with my medication. Which all caused me stress.
I will keep all you ladies in my thoughts and prayers and will check back in a few.

  • Also I want to order my brazil nuts. Where have you ladies purchased yours from?

  • @wishingforluck I'm so sorry for your news. I hope you have much better success with your new RE. I ordered my Brazil nuts from Amazon.

Well, my test was a BFN. Im handling this one much harder than any in the past. I was so sure it had worked. Fortunately my family came to visit his weekend and I don't have a moment to myself to wallow.

To All you PUPO ladies, you're in my thoughts! Fx!!

@WishingforLuck and @halips very sorry to hear.

My dr apparently hasn't given up on this cycle yet. I'm continuing the same medication.  I don't know the plan yet, but I am coming back Tues. I don't really have high hopes right now, but I've put things in perspective a bit more and am not feeling so emotionally  fragile today.
  • @halips I am so sorry for your loss. I'll keep you in my prayers. Try to stay positive. Glad you have some family there!

Hey ladies question. AF is late, every other time I had a BFN she came right on time, and my nipples are still sore, usually the whole boob is sore when AF is due. This is my first FET so I don't know if things are different with this cycle. Should I still have hope?

Hi Ladies!!!! I can hardly believe I get to write this but I got my BFP today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

After 7+ years, peeing on hundreds upon hundreds of sticks, surgeries, hundreds of shots, meditations, avocados, failed IUI's, failed IVF cycles and two active years with my Infertility specialist I saw two blue lines for the first time today.

I have cried myself to sleep so many times, I have ached and ached and yearned and cursed and sobbed. I have spent months so beyond hopeless and I never ever thought I would really be here until this transfer. I am truly over the moon and just want to tell everyone here to have hope because after spending entire days reading these boards it is finally my turn and you really do have to simply keep the faith. Many times the BFP's from strangers were the only light during the dark times :)

Thinking of the rest of you this week!!!!!

  • @Halips - my beta was originally scheduled for next Monday (they originally wanted me to wait a total of 11sp5dt (I am assuming because of the weekend) - After I got so many BFP's I called my RE and they moved my Beta to tomorrow.

@LeanneB82 and @Griffin5413 I am seriously sending magical baby dust your way. Did neither of you test on home pregnancy tests? Wow - you are much more patient than me - theres no way I could wait - I started testing at like day 3 post transfer lol. I will certainly be thinking of the both of you Friday and Tuesday. How many DP Transfer will you be doing your Betas? and by the way @Griffin5413 - when people say its too early to "feel it" its a complete lie. I literally felt the baby implanting, I've had symptoms from day number 1 post transfer and I honestly and truly somehow "knew" I was pregnant from what felt like the very first minute they transferred the embryos. Its magic how that works. People say don't get your hopes up, but I didn't let that hold me back from believing with everything inside of myself what I felt was real - I. Don't let yourself doubt your intuition. And PS: The waves of nausea have been real for me as well.

@WishingforLuck - So happy you are moving forward as well. I had so many set backs so many times. Do not give up.

I just went walking with a coworker and I've been out of breath the whole time walking at a slower pace than normal. Everything I've eaten since yesterday afternoon have made me feel nauseous. I'm beginning to hope that this is it! I am going to test either Thursday or Friday morning so DH and I will have an idea. He doesn't want me to get the news either way by myself which is pretty sweet. Although maybe a little selfish too. lol!

  • I'm going crazy too. Trying to focus on deep breathing and relaxation. And crazy as it sounds...stay focused on work because it's a distraction! I've probably worked more hours this week already than last week just to try and keep myself busy.  :)

  • @Griffin5413 I know how you feel. Try to watch some movies, and meditate. That got my mind off the TWW for a while.
@LeanneB82 glad you're meditating and deep breathing those are definitely good ways to relax.
GL and FX for you ladies!

  • GL ladies! My cycle was canceled. I don't have the date, but the transfer will likely be in May. I am okay with this and was expecting it would be canceled. Looks like I'll get started again soon. Hope to hear about more BFPs from this group!
  • @lynnnj sorry to hear it was delayed. Keep that positive attitude, I like how we become so aware of our selves during this process that we can realize when setbacks do have some positive qualities.

So I caved this morning and POAS even though my bloodwork is at 8 my time. It was positive!!!! I can't imagine that it would be inaccurate at this point but Beta will tell us for sure.

  • i'm not super high tech, so I can't figure out how to specifically call out people in link.  but awesome news griffin5413!  hoping that beta confirms!  reading the board and messages are helping reassure me and making me feel like i'm part of a community of people who know the good, bad and ugly of operation baby.

i went for my pre op wednesday, and am scheduled for transfer on april 27  with beta on may 9.   we just started the PIO last night, and it's literally a pain in the ass ;) just keep saying no pain, no gain over and over again- guess that mantra works more than for just the gym! i'm nervous, anxious, excited and all sort of emotions all rolled into one.  what a roller coaster!

AFM:  Beta Tuesday and I think we've decided to POAS Tuesday morning before blood work so I'm prepared. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time.

@gatorlorit we have the same beta day (my transfer is the 28th though)!! I think @zanster might have hers on the 9th as well, her transfer is the 27. I feel like it's going to be a good day, the day after Mother's Day. Are you going to poas?

To "tag" people put the @ sign in front of their name, do not include a space between the two.

@leanneb82 good luck!! We need to keep lots of BFPs rolling in. "The big 'Mo'!"
