who is saintly in his willingness to care for me in the last 4 weeks of our daughter's gestation....
1. My humidifier appears to be broken as indicated by leaking a gallon of water onto my bedside table... just discovered... leaving everything around it, including my corner of the bed soppy wet.
2. Said water destroyed my daughter's seahorse.
3. it hurts to pick up my fat dog. this means I have to either lift him and hurt myself or sleep in the couch cause he will bark and need me all night otherwise.
4. All the milk is in the garage refrigerator and I'm whiny and have swollen feet and don't want to go into the cold garage.
5. I forgot to refill my nexium and the pharmacy closed 5 minutes ago... heartburn tonight.
6. I need him to come home and hold me because I had a bad day. Lost in Court. Am exhausted and sometimes he is the only person who can comfort me.
7. I think the current girl skating in the olympics might be a man and noone else seems to notice which makes me even more lonely.... DH would at least agree with me...even if I was wrong.
Thanks....
Re: Several brief vents in the absence of my DH..
Sorry about the wet bed and the ruined seahorse. :-(
I've been known to sleep on the couch when I've come home from work, too exhausted to even go upstairs and get ready for bed. DH will find me there at 5 in the morning when he comes home and chide me for not sleeping in bed (because I do that to him too).
Milk sounds good right now, but I just don't want to get up for it. I'm comfortable and warm. I'll keep sucking down my water.

Oh sweetie! I am so sorry. DH works nights and I feel your pain some nights. I am not as pregnant as you but sometimes you just want your husband to hold you, listen to you, make you feel better and just take care of things.
OK, I burst out laughing when you talked about the Olympic skater being a man.
I'm MOST sorry about your Nexium because my heartburn is unbearable these days and I can't wait to see my OB next week so that I can get a prescription for something stonger than Zantac. You have to be in pain. :-(
GL over the next few days!
