I am pretty sure I will be having an FET in May and thought I'd get a thread started for anyone else who is looking at a May FET date. Hopefully this will be a place for support and encouragement throughout the process. Introduce yourself when you join

I am currently awaiting AF after my MC at 7w3d from my FET in January (after December IVF and a freeze all). Once AF arrives, I will start BCP and Lupron will follow shortly thereafter. My protocol will be the same as my first FET because it was successful. Looking forward to meeting some awesome May FET ladies!

Yay! We just got our schedule yesterday May 11th is our transfer date. I have only done fresh transfers (2) so I was surprised when she told me there were shots. Lol dammit, I thought I would get away from those this time around

I think we start Lupron on the 8th of April. Spendy little drug that kit is. We are doing PIO this time around as well, so another shot. And Lovenox injection to hopefully help with implantation and endometriosis. We have had great eggs both fresh transfers with no luck

I am still happy that there is no big restrictions like the fresh cycles on movement, heat, etc. That will be a plus!

@derrian Welcome! May 11 sounds like a perfect day for a transfer

The FET process, even though there are needles, is way less taxing than a fresh cycle. The being able to exercise is a huge plus for me too!

Hi @takethelongway and @derrian - I think I may belong here too although I don't have my full protocol and date yet. We just got off a BFN from our second FET so taking a couple of weeks break before we start again on FET number 3.
@takethelongway I think I remember you from the January thread where I was too - sorry we have to meet like this again...

@takethelongway I agree! May 2nd is our anniversary. So hoping May is just a good month all around! The little frozen egg was hatching when they froze it, so I'm excited to try again.

Exercise will probably be something I try to be better about. I'm in Tae Kwon Do, but haven't gone since end of Jan due to treatments. Makes me sad, but just too mentally/physically exhausted, uncomfortable, and not wanting to be around people lol.

I'm so glad someone started this thread! May 11th is our FET too, @derrian ! Our anniversary is May 25th, and our beta will be May 26th.
I'm going to start doing yoga, I found a yoga class at our rec center that is actually at a time I can go!

I am not sure when I am having my transfer but I am really hoping it is in May at the latest it will be the first week of June. I am ready to participate in a thread again so I figured I'd jump in. My full timeline is in my siggy and an even more extensive one in my blog - but a quick recap: Spent 7 months in Prague, Czech Republic and did 3 IVF rounds, 1 natural IVF, and 1 FET. FET resulted in pregnancy in October that resulted in a MMC at ~9w. We've decided to move onto Donor Eggs and have one frozen normal embryo from our first donor. The clinic guarantees 2 so they are looking for another donor BUT we are still waiting to find her. I am very hopeful that we will have a donor secured by the end of the week so I can book my tickets (traveling back to Prague for the DE FET).

@takethelongway so sorry about your MC. I blog too. I'll have to check yours out!

@derrian Another blogger! yay! I was also surprised about the meds during my FET!! Have you considered asking about a low dose prednisone to help with implantation - just another something to take but worth asking about. I hear ya about not wanting be around people... I am trying to not be a total recluse but I just don't have the energy.

@susykat77 I think I asked about prednisone and my RE said we are doing Medrol, which is a steriod, and similar to prednisone. We've done this one the last 2 fresh cycles. We are doing Lovenox injections this time around I know, for what ever help they might be

Luckily my husband and I mainly have the same friends. So I can send him out to hang with friends and just be lazy at home lol. I feel like it is good to get all that rest. But I also feel like a little exercize will get the uterus happy as well.

@derrian I am doing a steroid for the last four days of my cycle before the FET as well, can't remember the name now but it started with an M too, I think. And yes, there are so many more meds and shots than I thought there would be!

@dragonfaerie Physically, I am feeling better. I still have pain with most meals but it is fading into the background as the norm. Emotionally, that is a different story. I am a mess. I am so over waiting! I can only hope that my timeline is also the universe's timeline.

@derrian The cycle I got pregnant I was on Lovonox and prednisone. Hopefully this will the cycle for you. I agree about exercise helping blood flow to the uterus but over-exercising can also cause inflammation. I guess it really depends on the individual situation. I love me some yoga. It is Mountain Biking season here so I am getting out on my bike some as well.

Today is CD 1 for me and I'll have baseline blood work and ultrasound tomorrow morning. If it's all clear, I'll start BCPs tomorrow evening and then we'll add the Lupron soon.

So exciting to get started, not that I want shots but lol

My Lupron starts the 8th of April. I haven't even picked it up yet since it was a $600 bill I was not planning on. Need to get on that lol.

Baseline is the 18th and May 3 is the Ultrasound for the lining check

My ovaries are punching me today, they are brats. I think they know something up haha.

@derrian Were you able to get your Lupron from a local pharmacy? We order everything in from an out-of-state pharmacy that works with our clinic. I feel ya, excited but nervous about shots again. When was your ER again?

@ derrian Shots are no fun but do make everything more real!! I always liked them because I felt like I was DOING something and not just watching time pass.

@dragonfaerie I just realized from another thread that you are also a Colorado gal! I am on the Western side of the state.

@takethelongway How was baseline? Did you get the go ahead to start BCP?

@susykat77 and @dragonfaerie My husband and I just got back from Ouray, Colorado! We are actually planning to move to Colorado next summer!

I started BCPs last night and I got my FET date today--May 23rd! I am so excited!

Hi ladies! I'm going to join in as I think my FET will be in May also. I don't have my full protocol yet as I just had my retrieval yesterday, but the nurse previously told me we'd be looking at a transfer in the first 2 weeks of May. I can't wait to get my calendar already!

Retrieval went good in terms of the eggs they got (19 in total and 10 fertilized) but not so good in how I'm feeling after it. It's been a painful 2 days so far and I'm looking forward to feeling like a normal human being soon. I see you're in the beginning of your cycle. Is this your first IVF?

@tulips29 19 eggs and 10 fertilized is great! It took me a few days to feel better too. I ended up with some mild OHSS even though we did a Lupron trigger because we added a tiny bit of hCG booster right before retrieval.

This is actually going to be my second FET. We did the ER in December and had 9 frozen embryos. I had a transfer in January that unfortunately ended in loss at just over 7 weeks. This is us starting over.

Hello ladies! Joining you guys as my tentative FET is right before Memorial Weekend. I'm currently going through a full mock cycle where not only does the RE do the mock transfer, but also monitors my lining and give my body a chance to recover from all the other meds taken for the ER.

Just st a slight recap on my progress throughout: I had my ER on 3/18 and 12 eggs were retrieved. Out of the 12 retrieved, 11 were mature. Out of the 11 matured, 8 fertilized. Out of the 8 fertilized, 5 made it to PGS testing. Out of the 5 tested, 4 embryos came back normal (3 girls and 1 boy!)!!! I can't wait until we all get to our transfer dates!!!

AFM - I got an email from our coordinator saying that another couple backed out and that their donor that is already cycling is a match for us! She gave me a quick update yesterday and said she would email me tomorrow to confirm that she was "ours" but I haven't heard from her!! Ack! It is 830pm in Prague and now I am afraid that I won't hear anything until Monday. I really don't want to wonder over the weekend, I just want to know already.

I just got the email! Donor is "ours" and she goes in TOMORROW for retrieval!! Holy cow! I will get a fertilization report on Monday. Woot woot!!!!!
