******qbf******** Yes, the bra battles are never-ending. I thought I was good for a while and could make it with the band extenders only, but this week several days in a row now, I've been trying to make too-small cups work and the bra extenders are chaffing because the cups don't line up right. I actually ended up with a blister on my back from the extenders. Sigh.

My bra comes off the minute I get home. Sometimes it even gets undone in the car...or worse when I'm sitting in my office. Yep I've done it! Desperate times call for desperate measures ladies!

OMG me too. And I totally lost my GiveAFuck for strangers seeing me unhooking it at stop lights on the way home because I can't take it.

I'm so sick of bras and boobs. It is such a losing battle and my OB told me yesterday that the rib cage/upper back pain I'm having is in part because my bras aren't supportive enough. I am wearing enormous & hideous old lady bras that are the most supportive I could find. Stupid gigantic boobs ruin everything!!
Is anyone else an introvert and feeling even more need to recharge with alone time lately? Most people assume I'm not even introverted, I can play the social game well, but it has been EXHAUSTING for me. It's hard for my friends to understand when I tell them I just really need a night off to spend sometime alone with my little family.
One of the teachers at school just brought in her 3 month old baby girl and I leaked a little. Of course I am wearing a very gauzy white shirt because it is 4,000 degrees in my office and just a cami because bras are not my friends right now so I am looking good.
Oh, and I had an intense coughing fit and leaked a little the other way. Basically, fluids are coming out of me every which way!
Met my doula today during lunch. Just need to get the contract signed and send the fee over Paypal tonight when we get home. Besides nursery and buying baby stuff, this just leaves getting my short term disability policy in order. Yay for getting things done.
Also, I need to stop stalking my registries. I'm getting way too excited about the things I don't even actually own yet. However, I'm very flattered at the generosity of other people. I didn't expect this at all.
We just had our fire drill for March a little bit ago and I felt LO startle/spaz when the alarm sounded. It's both an interesting and uncomfortable experience.

This. I'm so with you. This is our 2nd baby and the generosity our friends and family are showing us is astounding!!! Our shower is this Saturday and I will probably be very emotional. Probably "hormonal."

Birthday cake! My team leads birthday is tomorrow, but he's out of the office so our PM bought him a full sheet cake to share with the team - decorated in Star Wars theme along with his entire office. Let's just say I got an obnoxious amount to take home bc he refuses to take it home for his kids and the pregnant lady obviously needs cake .

So i was majorly late to the party on the 'my baby has dropped' thread, but let me say that catching up killed at least 20 mins of my work day and now i want to google pictures of unicorns.

I fell and twisted my foot it's completely bruised at the bottom. I can't go to work tomorrow and I'm so sad because I've been saving my time for the baby.
Luckily, my ankle isn't swollen and it doesn't seem like I broke anything. Little dude is moving around so I think he's ok in there. Didn't land or hit the belly, just on all fours.
Silver lining of the day is, he is officially head down and Doctor doesn't think he'll turn again
We are attempting the transition to toddler bed tonight! Pray for us!
also, did not anticipate all the emotions, I mean I'm pregnant, should of guessed it would tug on my heartstrings.
We are keeping the rocking chair in the nursery and we usually read to her on the chair. Tonight she was looking around her new room and said "oh there's no rocking chair, we need to buy a rocking chair". And then I cried, thanks guilt.

@doozer1345@lalala2004 she slept through the night!! She's on the floor though, not sure if you can tell in the pic, but I think it counts??? As I checked during my constant bathroom trips, it was a gradual progression.
@that1didn'tcount Aww! DS has done that occasionally too. I think he likes the floor sometimes because it's a little cooler-- plus he and I hang out to read on the floor next to his bed when we don't sit in the chair, so it's a comfortable place emotionally. I'm glad that the switch went well overall.
For the past 2 weeks, no leg cramps! Huzzah! Then last night, I totally over did it and was running around, not drinking water, lifting things, bending, stealing recyclables under the cover of night (don't ask), helping MH run cable, putting gel sheets on spotlights, changing out all the tiny candle light bulbs in the church to blue bulbs, forgetting where my son was and finding him again, moving tables, sorting beads...oh, and rehearsing the music for Sunday's worship service and getting everything all set for the children's Joyful Noise Choir performance. Anyways, I woke up at 2:07am with the absolute worst charlie horse I have ever had in my entire life. I actually could not extend my foot at all. I was in permanent flexed Barbie foot mode. I yelped in pain and tried to spring up to walk it off, but couldn't put any weight on my foot and ended up crumpling to the ground. Then I army crawled to the bathroom to try to stand on the cool tile and get some water. I got halfway there when MH flicked on the light switch and gave me the most puzzled look of all and said "What in God's name are you doing?!" I started crying that I didn't want to wake him up (he was running around just as much as I was trying to McGuyver the blue spotlights for the front of the church), but his confusion instantly went to concern as he scooped me up off the floor (all 235lbs of me and baby!) and carried me to the toilet. He got me all set so I could pee (he knows me so well...obviously I had to pee!) and started massaging my rock hard lump of a calf muscle with my peppermint lotion. I could tell he was half-asleep, but he was just so sweet and attentive, it made me sob even harder. He got me some water and I just sat there on the toilet, a total hot mess. After my leg and foot had relaxed, he immediately put his hands on my belly and started sleepily talking to Luna, asking if she was ok. She actually kicked pretty hard and he kissed my belly, then asked if I was all set. I nodded so he helped me up and carefully guided me back to bed. He ran downstairs and got my favorite water bottle and a banana. The whole time I just felt so helpless and silly, but he was my hero!
My leg is still super sore and I have been limping all morning, but I am so touched and comforted that MH is ready at a moment's notice to spring into action. He is the best!
After our appt yesterday (which SO scheduled so he can come to all of my future wkly appts) my SO told me he isn't sure if he is going to stay at the hospital with me after LO arrives because I told the dr I will be keeping LO in my room with me, no nursery. He was joking of course , but he thinks I'm nuts for not utilizing the nursery before we get home and lose all sleep! He also thinks my list of "demands," as he calls them, are too long. All I want is no IV and no constant monitoring so I can move freely. My dr is completely fine with it bcuz I am low risk and have had no issues. Though, she didn't like the fact that I disagree with her method of giving pitocin to deliver the placenta. But she said that if I don't want it she won't force it. SO thinks I need to just go with it and doesn't see what the big deal is. I did agree to have a port in just in case something goes wrong, but I need to be able to move to help with pain during contractions.
Just throwing it out there that I kinda dislike April Fools Day. I have a tendency to be naive about pretty much everything. I just got an email at work which if true kinda sucks, but if not it would kinda be a really good April Fools joke since it's been joked about before.
Of course no one on my team wants to ask if said email is a joke or real and I'm certainly not... So now I have to wait till Monday to see.
Ugh my OB recommended perineal massage at my appointment yesterday. I can barely reach to wipe after I pee, there is no way I can reach to do it but I feel awkward about having my H do it. He's being really kind and willing to do whatever he possibly can to help but I just can't. Am I being silly?
