Wow. My boob condom cost $5 off amazon. It's just the medela brand. It's an add on item but I buy stuff all the time off amazon.
My kid still won't latch without the shield. I've tried a few times and he gets super angry because he "can't find" the nipple. He found it once but had a really shallow latch so it hurt something terrible. His shallow latch led to blisters before the shield so if he's going to latch shallowly, I'm using the shield. I'd probably try harder if they were as expensive as yours!
@rachswi I have to squeeze my boob and kind of shove it in his mouth at time when he can't find the nipple. Other times he just turns his head and boom latches. It's so confusing! Also, I have an Amazon account and money on said account. Why am I not ordering these things on there?!
Totally irrelevant to my LO but my first had his first dentist appointment today & didn't cry at all! He usually throws the biggest fits when it comes to strangers. I was one proud mama in that office with how well he behaved. I totally had to AW it since he's usually such a butt lol

This gives me hope, I am worried about when DS goes to the dentist for the first time.

He usually screams if any stranger talks to him let alone touches him. We've been preparing him all week for it lol. I was so nervous that I put a diaper on him thinking he may pee himself from fear (dramatic I know) I'm thinking the dental assistants think I'm such a helicopter mom cuz I was standing there waiting for him to freak out.
I'm sure this is more of a fluke than a milestone (since Zeke had a full and pretty busy day yesterday), but little man just slept for 9 straight hours! Mom and dad woke up before he did!
...just kidding it was 8 hours. I can't do math anymore
Last night I was admiring how big my son has gotten and decided to try on him the very first outfit I bought when I found out I was pregnant at around 6 weeks. I had this irrational fear of him dying that I hid the outfit where DH wouldn't see it for months! Its a size 3-6 months and it barely fit on his chunky body. I'm so grateful that not only was I gifted a healthy pregnancy but my baby boy will be two months on Sunday. (Cue the waterworks)
I am so proud of my little girl. At her one month appointment she was in the 1% for height and 2% for weight. Now at her two month appointment she is in the 8% for height and 14% for weight. I know she is still tiny, but I am so happy to see her increasing in the percentages (she was born at 36 weeks, so she has some catching up to do).
Jane just had her 2 month appointment yesterday. She has jumped from the 5 percentile in weight at birth to the 48 percentile. No wonder she eats like the cookie monster!
Cooper had his 2 month appointment last week. He went from the 10% in weight to the 49% but he dropped from 3% in height to 1% Hopefully he gets a growth spurt soon. Lol. Yesterday I packed up all his newborn clothes and I cried. Haha.
My LO is 2 months today and rolled from back to tummy! Of course I was at work so I missed it, luckily my sister caught it on her iPhone. Thank goodness for technology!
We are officially out of newborn clothes and diapers for about two weeks now. We've got cooing and smiling and following objects/people with our eyes. Really good at holding our head up but still no sign of rolling over. However, LO has been sleeping with receiving blankets tucked on both sides since about 3 weeks because she rolls on her side in her sleep.
Edit: fat fingers/ small keys and forgot to add LO is 8 weeks.
Cecily's really starting to grab at things at almost 9 weeks! She loves to grab the toys on her baby gym and grab her pacifier tether and yank it out of her mouth.
Cora had her 2 month vaccinations today. She was 11lbs (birth weight was 5lbs 12oz)! After her needles, when we got back home, she gave her first real laugh! She has just had little giggles up until today!
DS has been only been sleeping when he is rocked or in the RNP but last night he slept almost the whole night in the RNP while it was off! Slowly working towards the transfer to his bed!
DS rolled from tummy to back on Feb 7, the day he turned 3 months. I can't get him to do it again though.
In in the same boat! The day before DS turned 3 months he rolled over and he won't do it again. Lol of course he was kind of freaked out when he did it the first time and ended up flailing around like a turtle on its back so that may be part of it lol
13 weeks and we have rolling over!!! She did it once before, I want to say 2 weeks ago? But it must've been a fluke bc she didn't do it again. But she rolled tummy to back at least 6 times in a row today!!! Put her on her tummy, she twirls right over! Also getting some giggles, but only in her sleep? She smiles and gives out a little sleepy chuckle.
Bridget rolled over tummy to back for about 3 days straight starting exactly one day shy of 3 months. Within days she rolled over back to tummy a few times. Since then she hasn't wanted to roll any more. She is doing tons of crunches and will actually sit up from a semi horizontal position! She chases the bottle when I pull it away to wipe her face off.
If there's something strange underneath the hood. Who you gonna call? Your Doctor. If there's something weird and it don't look good. Who you gonna call? Your Doctor. Immediately. If it's new, painful, and possibly pregnancy related get your ass off the internet and call your doctor. It's for your health and your child's.
DD started some serious talking today. She's been cooing, oohing, ahhing, and having the occasional screech for weeks now. But today screeching was the thing to do nonstop. We felt like we were living with a pterodactyl.

Tummy time is still disastrous. Lol
