Why do we need a new thread? I think the point of this is to see how everyone's nurserys are coming along from concept to final product.
@yogahh Well the title of this thread is fortnightly updates- which to me indicates it was something we originally were going to have new threads started. Also I've seen a number of people say that they prefer not having ridiculously long threads. If you don't want to use the new thread- I'm perfectly cool with that. More power to you. I just know after about 5 pages I start losing track and if I saw an idea that I want to show someone else it takes longer to find. This is also just the way that I personally organize things, so if anyone wants to use the new thread, come on over. Anyone wants to keep using this one- great! I'm not going to be offended either way.
swflJD, I am having a hard time finding the pompoms on hobby lobby's web site. Any chance you know what they are called, as pompom is not generating any results.
Question: My son and daughter will be sharing a room. As soon as you walk in, there are two windows separated by an enclosed chimney...
Sooo I was thinking of having his navy patterned curtain one window and coral patterned on the other. Would this look stupid?? I'm planning on decorating one half for her, one half for him.
@kami09 I think if the patterns are the same, or if you pull a few accents in the same color to the opposite side (ie maybe there's coral within a picture or pillow on his side and navy on her side) then it'll still look cohesive and will be really adorable! This is pretty preppy, but sort of what I mean by same patterning

I think this sounds adorable and I really want to see pictures!
Gooood! (Cuz I had no other ideas lol) & there's definitely navy already on her side. I will take pics in like 2 months when we start this project haha

Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I was thinking of getting a few pompoms for our nursery and found this website a little while back: https://www.lunabazaar.com/tissue-paper-pom-poms
If you're only getting a few it seems pretty reasonable in price.
Feeling a little behind but we have our crib, ordered the dresser, and just got ikea spice racks to make into bookshelves. now just to get some paint to paint all of those, ordering lullaby paint for the crib. Hopefully we'll get everything painted within the next week! Then ordered this adorable mobile today, only it'll be gold with white skirts
