I was given an expensive camo coat from one of our vendors. It has my company logo and is very warm. They also knew I was pregnant and got me a bigger size. It fits over the bump so I don't have to buy a new winter coat. Camo is not my everyday thing but I really struggle buying a new coat just because I am pregnant. I have no shame.

I can only handle camo when it's for hunting, military, or in teeny tiny quantities on babies... DS has two pairs of camo pants that I love mostly because they fit him so well (one is the traditional green camo and the other reminds me of the navy I'm-going-super-pregnant-brain-and-can't-remember-what-they-are-called uniforms). My child has no hips, is thin, and really tall. Anything that fits for pants are amazing in my book. My SIL loves pink camo and has it everywhere and I HATE IT. It looks tacky.

Oh camouflage...how I DESPISE thee!! I live in a pretty rural area in Georgia. Camo is every-fucking-where! It's like a requirement. Rednecks wear it, preppy city boys who want to be 'southern' wear it...hell, even Underarmour produces crap in camo now. It gets really bad down here when people camo-out their cars and trucks that OBVIOUSLY won't be going into the woods. And then there's the furniture. My ex has a full living room suite of it. SO glad I got out of there before I had to blend in with the couch. It's ugly, you aren't hiding from anyone, and it's way too damn expensive. Go away!

Someone who's only 16 and hasn't the foggiest clue how to be a grownup yet and (unwisely) trusts her much much much older predator i mean fiance to not be a complete shitstain and to have some semblance of intelligent decision-making ability. I really want to add: if they only have a 1 bedroom apartment, they won't let them put 3 kids in a closet. You are limited to two people per bedroom at most complexes that I know of. The only exception is if the third person in your room is a baby. Don't remember how old the limit is though.

Apparently my UO is that I kind of like camo. Not pink camo. And not on furniture or wedding dresses. But regular camo? It's grown on me. My first time meeting most of DH's family was at a duck dynasty themed bday party for one of his uncles. It was ridiculous, but fun. [I don't hunt, but several members of DH's family do.] DH's wedding ring is a camo pattern (different shades of silver, so hard to tell from far away)...it was a compromise because he wanted an actual camo ring that I thought was hideous.

@elasticheart13 unfortunately it is. The camo tuxes are bad enough, but the wedding gowns were just too much. As a consultant, it was a hard pill to swallow to actually order those. But it's all about the bride and her big day. So I did my duty and gave the bride what she wanted.
Man I hate having to slow down in a school zone when there are obviously no kids anywhere in sight! And there is a huge fence between the road and the school! It's ridiculous. I also think high schoolers should be smart enough not to jump the fence into the road and get hit by cars.
Childbirth classes suck, at least they do here. I gave up on them. I think it could be useful if it was done right though.

I agree this is generally weird but some people have severe light sensitivities and the bright lights in stores can be very aggravating. My mom wears sunglasses inside some times because of this.

Why does it always seem like the husband always ends up leaving the wife for the babysitter? It's just so cliché! My friend ended up marrying the guy she had been babysitting for. They're divorced now, but that's because he did a 180 personality-wise.

At least she was a consenting adult. DH is 10 years older than I am and I'm still the grown up most days. We also do a significant amount of growing up between 16 and 18. I'm just saying that if a 28-year-old man touched my 16-year-old daughter, his family would never collect all of the body parts and dental records would not suffice to ID his skull.

It's your passive-aggressive way of telling your SO that you want to get married and want them to propose. STOP HARASSING THEM. One of my friends keeps doing this, and I feel so bad for her SO... I didn't ever post anything to social media prior to engagement, but I totally showed ideas to DH, told him what I didn't want, etc. However, we did start talking about getting married about 3 months after we started dating. I think it depends on the relationship - some people know really super early in that they're going to get married and they're already talking about it in general. Does that mean you should post to social media about it? Good Lord, no.

Only thing I'm looking towards Valentine's is The Walking Dead. Other than that, even if you wanted to go to a halfway decent restaurant, the rest of society also does, and is more than likely there in line before you and you're waiting for about an hour. Oh, and after so many years of being married buying each other gifts (from your own money you share) sounds like a frivolous expense and it's money saved to just say I love you, cook a nice meal at home and snuggle (which can be done any day). So to me Valentine's is pointless and it makes my husband feel like crap because he's not buying the diamond he thinks I deserve. So yes, Valentines day and Sweetest Day to me are dumb holidays. Don't forget the singles who feel like crap because they don't have a Valentine. I think those holidays are exclusive and are made to make the rest of the population feel bad.
Vague booking I think annoys TF out of everyone along with "unspoken prayer requests." Also the like and share stuff. OMG I especially HATE the beaten up baby / kids /pets exploitation where people will continue resharing pics of them badly beaten up near death. You're not supporting any cause other than showing graphic pics to everyone and further exploiting their image! They're usually tied to the "Type Amen, scroll if your heart is full of hate." The few instances sharing it actually helped a few pets and their owners were arrested. I just can't bear watching videos of adults beating the crap out of their kids. I don't know why those go viral and get shared.

I hate the Baby Announcement threads when people say "he/she is latching like a champ" ... Dude, I do not care what your child is or is not doing to your boobs. Good for him/her being a great titty-sucker, I guess? What a weird thing to declare with such pride.
I also kind of hate when they end it with "we are so in love." How cliche. You're supposed to love your child. It's a given. I think people just throw it in because it's part of the script. We get it, you're all oxytocin-filled and ooooozing love... Do we have to declare it? Get to the good stuff.
Lastly, I hate that February did it so that they are posting a link to their birth story instead of just posting the story directly in the thread. Pointless. I like that most women are totally disregarding that instruction though.
