A couple friends and I went in on some Glowbug diapers to take advantage of their deal that ends tonight. I'm super excited to get them because the prints are facking adorable. I got the ones that are circled.
@fishwife799 those are ridiculously cute!!!! I love the red/black plaid the best of all.
That's my favorite too! These ones are for DS and I only wish I knew the sex of this baby before the deal ended though because some of the girl prints are amazing too.
@HBMama2B I'm in a coop on Facebook that is doing a buy for the glowbugs. They aren't quite as cheap as they were in the sale but still a good deal compared to their normal price. Plus you can pick and chose which ones you want instead of having to buy the whole pack. I just got lucky and had 3 friends who wanted to split one. I can link it for you if you want.
Edited because I'm still not used to the auto correct on my new phone.
@fishwife799 really my pregnancy brain just thought "they sell glow bugs and dung beetles on the Internet?" I'm not sure who that was who mentioned dung beetles a week ago. Man I'm out of it!
We are team green and finally decided on the Uppa Baby Vista stroller... do you ladies think that this blue is too "masculine" for a gender neutral item? (We are buying lots of turquoise/aqua and going to accent the nursery in either pink & gold for a girl or navy for a boy). *Please, before anyone gets going that I could buy a pink stroller for a boy etc. etc. yes I get all of that but I am more traditional and will dress our LO in more gender typical clothing etc. so I'm not looking to make a statement with a boy-ish stroller for a girl or vice versa. I'm just curious if you saw this stroller would you automatically assume boy?

That is a really nice stroller. I love the color too. People might think "boy" at first when the baby is really young (especially if baby is bald at first it seems) but that will quickly pass. I love a little girl in blue clothes and blue accessories.
@MsBeachNJ - Yes, it seems like a "boy" color. But you could always get it and if you have a girl, make sure she was wearing something very girly whenever you use it.... frilly hats, headbands, etc.
@mkemommy thanks for your feedback! @Kballew10 Ha trust me if I have a girl she will have a bow taped to her head/a frilly bonnet on her from the day she's born I just love the color!
@MsBeachNJ I actually think that shade of blue goes either way. Its a really pretty blue and not a true navy. It's all about how you accessorize! I love the vista stroller, plus with that color it won't look weird if you turn it into a double and your next is the opposite gender. Just add cute blanket colors prints and toys.

Sadly, it doesn't matter if she's dressed head-to-toe in pink, ruffles, sparkles and has a headband and pierced ears. People will inevitably comment on how cute your son is. I don't understand that!!

This. Strangers will make assumptions in regards to the sex of your child whether your girl is decked out in neon pink and bows or not. I was complimented on my "pretty boy" for the first two years because my daughter's hair hadn't grown much. It never bothered me. They are strangers.
If you like the stroller, get it!

uhh.. Does anyone else see that some peoples little profile pictures are switched around?? @hockeyfan42 you are a Viking!
Not this specifically buy the app has been super weird for me. It will tell me I'm not logged in and not let me post because of it. Or it won't let me quote more than one person. It's kind of annoying.

It's always done that to me. If I go to my home screen and don't totally close out the app, I have to refresh it once or twice before it realizes I'm logged in. Really annoying if I want to look for something on the internet or am interrupted while typing something. Damn app.
@Sgoldberg247 what kind of phone do you have? I switched from iPhone to a galaxy just over a week ago and that's when it started. I wonder if maybe it's the android version that's the problem.

Yeah, I've got a droid turbo so its possible that it's the android app...
On the stroller thing...I like blue, I wear blue, I never think I'm masculine when I wear pretty blue things, so my daughter has lots of pretty blue things too I 100% was not trying to make a statement about gender by buying her a turquoise stroller, carrying her in a blue wrap, painting her room blue, etc. It all seems perfectly girly and pretty to me.
I will also second what everyone said about how people will constantly call your baby girl a boy regardless. CONSTANTLY. I don't go out of my way to make my kid look girly but all her winter wear is pink/purple so that's what she's in every day when we're out of the house, and I still frequently get "what a cute little man!" uhhh ok. Whatever, she doesn't care.
I brought beans to work as part of my lunch. I'm currently calculating the risk I'd putting all my coworkers at and deciding if it's worth eating them or not. It's a tough decision.
My husband had to go back to work today after taking a 4-day weekend to help with renovations, so now I'm alone with a mountain of boxes that supposedly can be assembled together to create my new kitchen. I wanted to get just one step of it done while he's away but I am failing spectacularly. Uuuuuuuuuugh. Why did I have an insane moment of hubris at IKEA and decide I could do this all myself??
Regarding the color of the carseat/stroller.. the carseat stroller set with bought for DS is what we will use again this time. It's blue and brown and looks pretty masculine, but I figured it will be pretty obvious that she's a girl with all the bows and pink crap I have already bought.

Side note: googling for sausage gifs was fun. The internet is a strange place.
