@cmerribury she didn't really say, but I know have multiples put you at risk. Also there is alot of pelvic pressure the last couple days, so baby a is probably engaged. And, tmi, but I have suddenly went from constipation or being just a little slow, to diarrhea about 3 days ago and it doesn't feel like a stomach bug.
She said my blood pressure is better than most non-pregnant women and that my weight gain is right where she wants it. The sonogram showed healthy active babies. She actually told me that since the babies are so active that if I ever start to worry about lack of movement, do a kick count and if I don't reach the goal in time to go right to the hospital.
I can't remember how far along you are now...but I'm sure it will be OK. I hope those babies stay in until at LEAST 36 weeks.
I got nervous last night because I remembered that kick counts going down were a sign of baby being ready to come, and mine was SUPER quiet most of yesterday and through the night. I was monitoring things, but he's back to being active again. Maybe he was just tired? Who knows.
@cmerribury I've had days where I notice LO isn't moving hardly at all, and then a day or two later he's back to beating me up from the inside. I've read as they get bigger there's less room for movement, or baby could have just turned and was kicking/punching towards your back rather than front.
WooHoo!! Another momma from our board who miscarried reached out to me to let me know that she is pregnant again at 6wks and saw a heartbeat I'm so glad to see these girls back in action.

@red3ye I hope those babies stay put. Thinking about pre term labor is so stressful and when you having twins I'm sure the stress is twice as bad. Sounds like you are very healthy so that is great.

These stories give me tears of happiness. So many of us know how painful loss can be but in a weird way it can make seeing that heartbeat even more special. FX for both of those ladies to have a very happy and healthy pregnancy! So exciting!
My random: I made french toast for lunch. It was the only thing that sounded good to me and I know dh and ds like it as well. So, I make 4 pieces up, give them to dh while I am making more and tell him to share with ds, that way ds isn't making a mess out of syrup while I am cooking. Dh comes back in with an empty plate and I only heard him offer food to ds 1 time. He asks for more, no biggy, I already figured he would want 2 more and I have them sitting aside for him. Tell him they are for him and remind him to share. As I talk to him, I put 2 more pieces ON A DIFFERENT PLATE NEXT TO SEPARATE FORK. I turn back around to turn off the stove and close the egg carton, and when I turn back, dh now has 4 pieces on his plate (ie, he took mine!) and he goes, aren't you going to make some for you and ds? Dude, really? He ears all of them while I watch, offers 2 bites to ds and then asks when I'm going to make myself some. I had to sit for a few and just scratch my head. I actually am not mad at all, just stumped and a little surprised that he didn't realize that the last 2 he ate were mine.

He honestly didn't know that I made them for me (since of course he needs 8 pieces, not 6) I guess I will have to start laying claim to my food "you see this plate? You do? Ok, anything on it is mine! See this cup? Mine to, so stop drinking my juice when my back is turned. See that plate? That is your plate, if it is not on it, ask before you eat it. Your plate, your food. My plate...mine. ) lol he still eats like he is 10 years younger

Ok so I personally don't consider this a spoiler since I believe it's common knowledge, but if you are interested in this show/case/whatever and you are not familiar with the outcome, please skip this.
Last night DH and I were watching this and I got mad at something and yelled at the TV "SPOILER ALERT - THEY BOTH ARE FOUND GUILTY!!!" I was in the process of walking out of our room to run to the kitchen and before I reached the door DH says "Are you F***ing kidding me?" I thought he was also talking to the tv lol so when I turned around and realized he was staring at me, jaw dropped and all devastated/pissed looking I thought he was messing with me. Turns out he wasn't!
EVERYONE knows the outcome of this series (whether you agree with it or not) is that these guys are in jail. EVERYONE. Everyone except DH apparently lol. Whoops! So now I am in the dog house and have been receiving texts all day long about how am I going to spoil this show or am I just going to have the baby and text him spoiler alert, your son was born!
It's actually amusing me - does that make me an awful wife? Anyone else watching? At the very least, it's very very interesting and thought provoking. We are on episode 9 and will likely finish up the series tonight.
I am feeling much better this afternoon- no more cramping/contractions. However, one of my coworkers insisted getting a pic of us 3 bumpies at work and man I still LOOK like crap! I'm getting my haircut on Saturday- maybe that will help? Last haircut I got was the end of June/beginning of July, when I went pixie short for my half-marathon. Now its grown out and horrible looking... I'm going to get it cut back into a bob. I may just wait to take my bump pic tomorrow when I can actually wear my maternity jeans and look/feel somewhat normal.

I just started the series and I thought that the whole point of watching was because they're in jail...no point in trying to prove their innocence if no one is locked up. I was actually worried that I was going to read a real spoiler in that!
@Poppy0419 I obviously agree with you! DH is ALWAYS behind in current events/pop culture etc. because he doesn't watch the news or use social media very often.

We're watching it! Have the last two episodes to go. Of course everyone knows the ending, your poor DH must live under a rock. I would really like to hear more from the persecution's side since the documentary is so one sided, I feel like I cannot formulate an honest opinion knowing I'm obviously missing large chunks of the story.

To be honest I jumped in on like episode 3 (because DH likes to binge watch shows without me...) and have never heard of the case or the outcome before. I figured they would end up being found guilty and put in jail, but I didn't know that for sure until it was said in the show...
If you go into labor when DH isn't around you should text or call him and say something like, "Hey spoiler alert, DS is on his way!" Hahaha
@flowerpower5838 we just finished watching the final episode a few minutes ago. We're in the same camp as your DH, we had no idea whether or not they were in prison! I kept expecting something amazing to happen to exonerate them both and now I'm just sort of stunned...!
Can I slip an intro in here since I kinda (totally) feel like I walked into a group of people who know each other mid conversation and pretended like I knew what was going on?
I'm Sarah...25 and a first time mom due March 3rd. All of my friends who have kids or are pregnant are in totally different places in life than I am so I'm kind of lacking in community and people to talk to. Ive already started my work leave and my fiancé works and is never home sooo I'm a little lonely. I've lurked on and off since the beginning and decided to be the awkward new kid and try to get involved.
And thanks to you ladies, I've done nothing but binge watch Making a Murderer all day!!
@red3ye How often are you seeing your OB at this point? I'm also expecting twins and as of today I'm seeing mine weekly on top of weekly NST test and I'm beginning to get overwhelmed by the amount appointments. As of right now it's about 3 a week and I wanted to know if other twin mommas are experiencing the same thing.
Not sure how Har you are. I have been in every 2 weeks from the beginning. After this next one it will be 1x a week. I will have a nst, but only one or two total. I'm sorry you are having to keep up with so many appointments. I don't know your health history so I can't really give much advice other than to ask your doctor why you have so many
@bntfroggie sending you big hugs Sorry you are having a crappy time.
Thanks love, I think I've decided to leave my job come summer when my maternity leave is over. I barely want to be here now, but I can't imagine leaving something I love at daycare while I go somewhere I don't want to be. Maybe I'll take some time off and then work elsewhere when the time is right.

I would stay home, for sure, with this little one...just for one year. But we can't possibly afford it, so back to work I'll go at 12 weeks. That said, I'll get two days at home with him (working from home) until I can't manage it anymore.
Y'all I'm so uncomfortable to the point it's painful. I was almost crying in bed last night (and in tough) because I just hurt. My lower back, my hips and hip flexers (which seems weird idk). There was no position I could lay in that wasn't painful. Is there a way to get her to move? She's shoved far down and I don't think I can take 9ish more weeks of this

Can you go swimming at all? Especially with not working? That's helped me in the past with all of the pain. As you stretch out and become weightless, it majorly helps baby's positioning.

@SarahFoley725 best of luck sweetie. I have given up on trying to sleep in bed. I just on the couch now.
On the plus side, I passed my glucose! Now I just have to take iron twice a day, apparently they want it just over 11 and I'm at 8 (whatever that means)
I bought baby a pram this morning before coming to work:) I figured he won't need a full fledged snow suit because March begins the transition to spring, but he may come a little early (say end of february) and will still need something to keep him warm from the cold. Not bad for a $9 clearance item- and it's got EARS on the hoodie!
So I just got a DSLR camera for Christmas. This is my first experience with anything other than a point and shoot, like, ever. Any hobbyists have any tools/tutorials/guides that they found helpful when they were beginners? TIA!

I took a few SLR photography classes in college. I think the best way to get to know your camera is to take a lot of photos of the same thing on different settings to visually learn the differences between the shutter speeds and apertures and how they work together. Then it becomes a matter of personal preference and your photos are what you want them to be
That said, I'm a total bum and use it on automatic most of the time these days.
I just splurged and bought myself something! I got a $100 bill from my FIL for Christmas and decided to treat myself to a new fitbit, a diffuser, and some essential oils. For the latter two, I'm hoping they just help me not wake up to a bloody nose every morning (as much from dry air as from my dog farting all night long...ew!) and the fit bit will be to help whip me back into shape post-baby. So excited!
@flowerpower5838 There are a ton of tutorials and blogs online for using DSLRs. I'd google the type (and model) of your camera and "blog" and "tutorial" or "how to use" and you'll get a bunch of results. Some even walk you through what each setting means and how to use it. Have fun! They are the best.
