@charley15 okay, good to know I'm not completely alone in this! but yeah, his movements have slowly stated decreasing to the point where, like i said, i didn't feel him at all yesterday. i almost had a panic attack & my poor SO had to calm me down I'm such a bad worrier.
@SparkE82 i chugged a glass of OJ & layed on my back for a while once i realized i hadn't felt him move that day. that's when he gave me the tiniest little nudge. but at least he gave me that. i calmed my nerves quite a bit. thanks for the advice! & i will absolutely be bringing it up. at my appointment!
@skruhmin okay good! haha. like i said, I'm a horrible worrier. especially when i dont feel him move for a while. i guess I'm just so used to always feeling him rolling around in there. good to know i should expect a bit of a decrease in movement. thank you!
@CecilB93 oh crap, i forgot about that thread!! i should have looked there first.. sorry ladies! but yeah, as long as i feel some movement, I'm fine. i just paniced when i noticed i hadn't felt any movement whatsoever.
@kyraaD no worries! Just didn't want it to feel like I was passing off others advice as my own, I'm too nice like that, lol. As far as freaking out goes, I was in tears most of the day when I first realized I hadn't felt him move (or remembered/noticed) for a couple days. Poor DH was researching on the Internet to try and comfort me and I don't think he's done any baby/pregnancy research like I have!
@kyraaD one thing I have noticed which tends to help me when I can't feel movement is to sit back, flip up my shirt watch him move. Baby may just be sleeping or resting but I can still see my tummy twitch, even if its only slightly. To me it looks like he is taking tiny breaths, or it may even be his heartbeat, but I swear I see tiny movement in my belly.

Going back to comfort. This is THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHIRT IN THE WORLD!!! You all must buy it. Now! I'm kind of sad they only have it in one color because I would buy all the shirts.
FYI if you're starting to feel like you hate your clothes and you miss being pretty, go out and buy a few new tops. It makes all the difference in the world. And at this point, don't pay any attention to the size you are buying - comfort over the size dilemma. Just feel pretty. It will help you get through the next few weeks.

@skruhmin you are absolutely right My mom took me and got me a couple shirts and its made me feel pretty again lol. I've always loved my clothes but they are soo limited with me being the size I am on top of maternity...
I did see that shirt at target, but we opted for this one in the purple:
YESSSSSSS!!! It's official, PASSED my 3 hr GTT!! So relieved. I figured that since I fails the last one in spectacular fashion I'd be screwed. Now that I've gotten the all clear I'm holding you responsible for my "errands run" to Cinnabon @skruhmin! maybe a pit stop to Starcrack for some coffee.

As for movement... never really thought about the difference it would make with twins. It's like there is a team of basketball players in my tummy. Funny at first, but after a while I started doing what I could just to get them to calm down.

Can you imagine being octomom right now??? Oy! The movement. I wonder if she was ever able to sleep. Or even stand up.

@soxfan9968 YAY!!!!!! I am still waiting to hear back about mine (was 12/31). I don't have a good feeling about it though.
Crossing my fingers for you! I didn't think I'd pass. I failed with 168!! I haven't been exercising and I felt like dog poop during the test. I think the one hour test really does have a high failure rate.

Question? Did you take it first thing in the morning, somehow my husband thinks that I failed because it was so early in the morning, and he wants me to take it later in the day, I told him I might die if I have to wait all day to eat.

@bntfroggie I took it at 9am. I wanted to do it at 8am as soon as they opened. It's supposed to be a walk-in with no appts but since they closed during holiday weekend they had a ton of people and I had to come back an hour later!! I was starving.
@bntfroggie I took my one hour test around 8 or 9 am and passed just fine. I didn't have to fast for my one hour though. I don't think timing makes that much of a difference! I'd rather get it over with and be fasting while asleep rather than fasting after not eating through the night.
@skruhmin-You convinced me on getting that top from target (although I got a different print). Most of my tops are getting too short and my favorite maternity pants don't have a panel in front. I've been showing a little belly lately!
@red3ye I don't know how you do it. I'm constantly shoving this kid, getting kicked, foot stuck in places... I could not imagine two!
I just got back from my doctor's appointment. I'm officially off bed rest! In reality, she checked me and I'm still dilated (but no more than the first time), and she asked me if I wanted to go back or if I'd rather stay on bed rest. I laughed and said I wanted to go back to work.
Apparently the kiddo who has been tracking right on target in weekly size has suddenly jumped ahead two weeks in size. Good lord, not another Goliath. Guess we both ate good over the holiday break... plus not chasing my toddler as much.
Wowza I fell behind! Pretty upset there was no PB in my inbox but WHATEVER. If you haven't made it into the FB group and you've asked to join I'm sorry! I'm doing the best I can!

Peanut butter is like the ONE THING that I'm still totally avoiding this pregnancy. It just makes my stomach turn to eat it. I CRAVE it, but then I take a bite and want to die. So sad.
Question for you ladies on the 1 hour glucose test. I have an u/s and appointment set up on the 12th. My glucose test is supposed to be walk in, and I don't have to fast (according to the nurses), so I was going to head over after my u/s, but before my appointment (there is a window of like 2 hours that I'll have time to kill) and then go get some lunch. Question (I know, FINALLY, right?): will my results get up to my doctor that quickly, or should I plan to go in a few days in advance so that she can have the results when we meet?

My results were the same day - a nurse called me and told me I passed. No big deal. I say get it all done the same day.

My doctor's office gave me the results a few minutes after they drew my blood....but they also have their own in house lab that does all of these types of things.
OK, thanks ladies! I was thinking about it and I'd rather just keep it all to one visit to the hospital...so I'll do it the same day. Worst case, the results aren't in right away and I have to be called by my doc to give me the results. Hardly the end of the world...
hey guys, just a quick question that i didn't feel needed a whole new thread..
have your babies become a lot less active at all..? my LO used to kick the crap out of me almost all day it felt like. then the last 2 weeks I've noticed he's really decreased in movement. i didn't really feel him at all yesterday, apart from one tiny nudge. i have an appointment in am hour with my doctor so this will be the first thing i mention. was just wondering if any of you March mama's have experienced something similar.
Nope, LO decided recently that my insides must be treated like a snare drum.
@cmerribury does your hospital/clinic organization have a patient portal you can access online or anything like that? Usually lab values pop-up right away and they give you the normal ranges. If you decide you cannot patiently wait anymore, it's just a suggestion.

I don't know @JessKo08. I was supposed to get registration information from them ages ago, which I assume would have given me access to that, but never did. It was one of the things I was going to check with my OB about.
Sooooo I have to retake the 3 hour glucose tolerance test. Apparently the lab forgot to store my blood properly and it's no good. I am devastated! My dr's office I guess made the lab call me and the guy was super apologetic so I am not even mad - I just kind of have to laugh or I will definitely cry.
FWIW @cmerribury my office does not have their own lab and it took about 5 business days for me to hear back about my one hour.
