I totally would, too, @MrsLeanMeanClean. I think you get the $50 coupon if you spend $250 or more. You'll spend that with 6 weeks of disposables (and wipes, I assume) for sure.
Would I be wrong to comment on a certain that thread that she's on the wrong thread? If you don't know what I'm talking about it's the FFFC thread with a "random thread" comment. Ugh, organization please! Don't hijack the FFFC thread!

Lol. I want to answer but can't because my advice stops being helpful and polite when I'm annoyed by the question.

Lol yep! I agree with that. Now the Snoop thing. Ehhh not exactly my type. He's just a tad bit "off" imo. I mean, I'm sure a conversation with him would be hysterical but other than that, I'm good.

So my husband decided to tell me that my MIL is throwing me a surprise baby shower for his relatives that live down in Florida when we go down for Christmas, I am super bummed because I've never had a successful surprise party (DH tried to throw a surprise birthday party once, but everyone he invited arrived late and we were the first ones at the restaurant ). Anyway, I expressed to husband I'm disappointed he told me, but understand why he did (I was feeling like MIL didn't want anything to do with the grandbaby and wasn't excited at all). I just wish that it was still a surprise because I had no clue.
So do I just act surprised and how do I do that without playing really dumb? I am not a good secret keeper.

@bntfroggie Just act surprised, and grateful, and happy. No one will grill you on your actual shock level (hopefully not anyway!) and if they do, just pretend the baby kicked really hard, it will distract them.
Clumsy Snowflake here...thinking of heading down to the square for the Christmas paradeand tree lighting ceremony. Not sure yet though. I asked friends if anyone was going and no one has cared to reply. DD is staying at Grandma and Grandpa's, and dh has to work. Dogs are not allowed at any city events, so Sherman will have to stay at home. It will be just me- but I don't want to go if i can't find anyone to hang out with!

Awesome conversation with the husband this morning.
Me: Can you drive, I'm not feeling great I feel pressure again like I did yesterday DH: Are you going to fart in my car? Me: I sure hope so.
The End.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL conversation! Thank you for sharing. HAHA
My dad and I were walking our regular 4 miles this morning and I told him I felt like I was a bit gassy. He warned me to NEVER trust a fart during exercise. So I took his advice and went to the bathroom. All I'm gonna say is, THANK GOD I DID!!!
I just ordered mu push prezzie (DH rarely buys me things... os.in treat myself and give him things for me and forget about it so it's a surprise anyways)...
Anywhoo I got a bottle of Basil Hayden...
Also I picked up a skunk drunk husband from a house party, stoppeD so he could pick up a dirty kebab, and now he is sitting in the living room with his pants half off trying to work his phone.... I am a very nice tolerant uncomfortably pregnant wife

While watching Narnia movies I always have to giggle at the questions. Like: See a cyclops, no big deal. Animals that talk, ehh that's normal. Kids that walk through a closet into another world, that's an everyday thing. A half-horse half-man walks up, "Umm mom, isn't that kind of weird?" "That could never really happen." "Why would they put something like that in the movie?" Yep, I love the questions!

Well, I hope y'all have a great night and weekend! I've got to put the phone up for a bit, start my dough for tomorrow morning's cinnamon rolls, play with all these little cuties and then spend the weekend "Christmas-afying" (as my kids call it lol) our house!

All the ftms out there, your gonna have a blast as your little one grows. Ds is 2 1/2 and has gotten really good at being dramatic. When he reaches for something, he acts like it is just out of his reach and groans the way you would if you were stretching to your limit. When "helping" me pick things up, he grunts like he is straining and walks like he is carrying something extremely heavy (seeing him do it with his favorite stuffed puppy makes me laugh every time). Aw kids can be so much fun
My elf name is not nearly as exciting as I'd hoped. Snowball Sleigh Bells here.
@kynbar5 so jealous of your tree getting! I am super excited for the holidays and was hoping to get the lights up outside at least, but dh is already making excuses for why he might be too busy and it is making me grumpy. It doesn't help that ds is coming down with somethjg again and he has slept miserably the last couple of days (we've been up since 345 this morning), but his cough and congestion are also preventing him from falling asleep easily too don't have been trying to get him to bed for 40 minutes now when it usually takes 5. Needless to say I am one cranky momma tonight.
Elf name is Sweet Cheeks Snowflake. I'm not too wild about it...
Took my glucose test yesterday, fingers crossed I pass!! I have this horrible feeling that I'm not going to and since this baby only seems to crave sweets, he's going to be sorely disappointed...who am I kidding, I'M going to be upset having to give up sweets, lol.
so I know there is a Night Owl thread... Is there a thread for us early risers? (Or idk what it would be called Early birds maybe?!) Lol this baby wakes me up so early! There are days when I wake up at 6am and don't work until late afternoon and I want to sleep in!!! So by the time in done with work at 11:30pm I'm so tireeed! My bedtime now is 9pm! Anyone else having this issue?
@Mcbb224 I think that everyone considers night owls in about the same time frame so it works. Early risers, not so much. Like you said, early to me is different from early to you. Everyone has a different idea on an early bird Like for instance, 6am isn't early for me. That's a pretty normal weekday time. And 7am on a weekend is pretty normal and even considered "sleeping in".

@kynbar5 oh my!! Lol depending on my lovely work schedule I either work at 6am, 9am, or 3pm so when I had to wake up for my 6am shift I was so tired! (Pre pregnancy) My normal wake up time is 8 or 9am my sleeping in is 9:30-10! I've been waking up at 6 or 7 a lot more lately and have been fully awake. But my 9pm I'm dead tired and if I'm not in my bed I fall asleep on the couch or wherever I am!
I think anyone who wakes up between 4AM and 6AM would be considered an early bird.
My toddler is the one who has forced me to be an early bird. First daughter is naturally a night owl and sleeps in, which was a glorious introduction to parenthood. All my friends were complaining about never getting to sleep in again, and I was blissfully unaware of that reality. We'd go to bed around 10 or 11PM and wake up around 10AM. It was great, because at the time I was a server and didn't ever have to be to work before 11:30AM.
The only problem is now that the rest of the family has adjusted to an earlier schedule for school and work, we have to keep an iron grip on my oldest's sleep schedule because if left to her own devices she naturally slides back into her night owl ways. Since I got those two pink lines, I'm absolutely worthless after 9PM.
