I was having nesting urges and DH did not understand. Then when he found out the gender he hopped on the band wagon and we have already finished the nursery minus two artsy projects that I want to do.
We also bought a new washer and dryer because our washer went out mid cycle last weekend. DH was so cute he didn't get stressed he just said "If I buy you a washer for Christmas, will you buy me a dryer?"
I'm going to have to look up this Hamilton Beach Sandwich maker...sounds interesting... Well because sandwich is in its name!!
Oh and @ewck I share your exact feelings all the time. I get so impatient about being able to hold my little girl in my arms... And then I'm like crap... I'm going to be holding MY little girl. Not someone else's! And I get to keep her forever and be her mommy!
Pregnancy is so gross. I know it can increase nose bleeds and I know it can make you stuffy but must I blow blood out of my Nose daily?
What's even worse is my IRL pregnant people are having fairy tale pregnancies and they're like what do you mean you still have MS, are losing hair, already lactating, have bloody snot and so on. Thanks, y'all.
I caved and started putting up Christmas things last night because I was picking up the fall and Halloween stuff. We won't out the tree up until next week though I'm sure.

Vent away. We are all going through variations of the same pregnant BS. I feel like they should be a little more concerned that you're having contractions! Okay so it's not a UTI but what is it?! Seems like an important question

@skruhmin oh man I'm sorry you're hurting and they can't give you a solid reason behind it. Take it easy as best you can (if that's even possible). Hopefully your midwife will have better answers for you soon.
Annnnnnd DS is blowing raspberries at us from his crib. At least he can amuse himself til he falls asleep I suppose.
@smushi how old is he? My nephew is 17 months and he blew a raspberry at me once and I said "EEEWWW" in a funny high pitched voice and so that's the first thing he does every time he sees me now. So much fun!!

He's 19 months. He loves to blow raspberries, blow bubbles in the bath water (yuck), blow bubbles in his cup at daycare, use his finger to make funny sounds with his lips.... They certainly are fun

I have a cold and I just can't shake it. I finally caved and bought some cough syrup on the way home. I can't sleep with all of the coughing and then i am just dragging at work all day. It is hard enough to sleep while pregnant without painful coughing fits. 3rd trimester is definitely around the corner because I am getting very uncomfortable!

I've been so MIA lately, I feel the need to post something so I'm not totally forgotten. ;-)
Got caught up on this post and have to say that even though this is my 3rd baby, it still feels surreal. I write a little pregnancy blog, and just wrote last week that even though I feel tons of movement, have had tons of ultrasounds, have a belly the size of a watermelon with a belly button sticking out like a turkey timer, I still can't wrap my head around the fact that I'm having another baby. Haha.
My glucose tolerance test is at 2:00 this afternoon. The paperwork I brought home said to eat like normal until an hour before I drink the glucola. So I just had two cinnamon rolls for breakfast. That's pretty normal for me. Haha. Hopefully it doesn't skew my results!
Speaking of the GTT, I can't remember how the timing works. Am I supposed to drink the glucola an hour before my appointment so they can draw my blood as soon as I get there? Or do I drink it right before I get to the office? (They sent the drink home with me at my last appointment, so I feel like they want me to drink it before I get there.)

It seams like baby has gotten used to my schedule. Since I have been on break I have been trying to sleep in a bit but she starts moving around a LOT every morning at about 7 on the dot which is when I usually get to school and start walking around and moving more.
Who else has a birthday before baby comes? Mine is in January. No partying it up for me this time haha.
Mine was in August during all my yucky first tri crap. I spent the day on the couch with horrible nausea and then cried about it that evening because my hormones were out of control.

My dr. sent it home with me too. However there are instructions on the Glucola telling me when to drink it, and to write down what time I finished it so they can draw my blood when I arrive at the office. I would call your office to verify what they would like you to do.....don't want to have to drink that crap more than once....lol.
So last year I bought this super cute sweater to wear out for my birthday. I didn't try it on before I bought it, just grabbed a big size to wear with leggings. I threw it on today knowing it had been big and I was like wow this actually looks really good with my stomach. Yeah I definitely accidentally bought a maternity sweater. It has the stretchy sides and everything. I somehow didn't notice until now.

Thanks....seems like all the water, the bath, and the rest last night all helped. Seems like symptoms are gone this morning. Fingers crossed I don't see those again. So today I'm chugging water like there's no tomorrow!
And seriously with the c-section thread??? Did I really read that response??? I think my eyes rolled out of my head with electing to do a section to avoid peeing her pants for the rest of her life. Uh yeah, you go ahead and do that.
