i don't like change (not that kind anyway). i know its just an extra button click or whatever, but i like being able to tap right on community in the app. it is the ONLY part of the app i use. i don't want to have to go to a whole other menu grrrrr

I attempted to read this thread and all I can say is wtf!?? i feel like my college degree didn't get me very far with that one!

I saw a different nurse today- so no heart beat, no measurements, and my shot that is supposed to go in my butt? Yeah it was more like up my hip.

TB app is starting to piss me off!!! I've tried writing r times and posting and each time it tells me I either have to sign in or i don't have permission to do anything. Seriously- a phone call disrupts the app! And I didn't even take the call I rejected it because I was trying to type a response!!!

And I'm pissy with dh. He tells me to not worry about the dishes- he will do them. This was Sunday. Today is Tuesday. He has made breakfast and lunch, and our turkey day dishes are still NOT DONE!!! GRRR ...

Sympathy for you on the DH front. Mine does the same thing often.

Oh that laundry you said you would fold two weeks ago is still there.... So I folded it. Enter hour long discussion on how I don't "let" him do anything around the house because I do everything. &!!%## I'm not waiting over two weeks for you to get your butt in gear.

  • Glad that I'm not the only one with a man that takes forever to do things and then acts like he is upset that I did it because I got tired of waiting on him.
Alsp, there is this type of underwear out now called thinx. It it just underwear, but is made in a way that is supposed to work like a panty liner when your on your period. You just wear then and don't need the liner if your not on a supper heavy flow. The reason I mention this is because of snissing and cough-pissing. I hate wearing liners if I'm not on my period, for whatever reason they irritate me, so I tend to avoid wearing them now and end up changing clothes if I sniss. But I bet those undies would work for that as well :)

  • So I had mentioned before that I'm in a local moms group on Facebook. I talked about this lady who didn't like her due date so she was trying to figure out a way to induce her self early. Anyway she is currently posting daily updates on how dilated she is. Today's post included the phrase "bloody show" which I'm sure is totally normal but not something I want to hear about.
  • It is a normal part of the labor/delivery phase. But people who share that much of what is happening to them tend to be to specific on certain things: that part can get icky fast it there is to much shared.

So this totally reminded me of the insane dream I had last night.  I dreamed I went to my high school reunion, which has in reality already happened.  I was pregnant in my dream, so the dress I wore was like crotch height in the front...  And everyone was drinking and I kept thinking I could just go get some wine at the bar.  Then it was some girl's birthday at the hotel there so they had gotten Beyonce to come make a special appearance.  She showed up and was really weird and chugged from a bottle of premixed margarita all night.  So strange.
  • Well, we knew when we decided to move that we would be moving to an area where the hospital and medical care in the area are not as great as they are where we are now. Where we are now, if I have the twins early or there are complications, then the local hospital can handle it, and it's a 8 minute drive from our apartment. The obgyn I go to is equipped to handle high risk pregnancy so I just go in every 2 weeks and it is about 10 minutes away. Really, medical care here is top notch, or that is what I feel. I wish I could take it with.

Where we are moving is something else entirely. I talked to the obgyn there again today. I was a patient there with ds so they accepted me, no problem. However, they are not really set up for high risk pregnancy so I will see them every 3-4 weeks and will have to drive 45 minutes one way for a specialist every 4 weeks. If they end up being preemies, then they will be sent to a hospital 2 hours away until they are stable and eating aproppriatly and will then be sent back to the local hospital. Really hoping they stay put till at least 35 weeks...
  • @MrsLeanMeanClean happy birthday!

Lol I saw that c section thread last night and my first thought was this is not going to end well for her.
For the record I had an emergency c section and still snissed etc. afterwards. Everything gets stretched out whether baby goes out that way or not. I am trying to be less judgmental of other people but for the life of me I can't understand electing to go through the recovery of a Csection while trying to care for yor newborn. I wish like anything I didn't have to have another one.

So today on my way home 3 dogs (2 shepherds and a Great Dane) ran out in front of my car and stood in the road. I managed to stop and once they were across pulled over and got out trying to corral them and figure out where they came from. I couldn't believe the number of people that just sped on by the pregnant woman struggling to herd 3 huge dogs away from the 55 mph road. Fortunately they were friendly and would follow me so when traffic cleared (no one stopped btw) I herded them back to the yard across the street and then knocked on the owners door. It was so scary I really thought someone was going to hit one of them because they kept running out into the road when I first pulled over. I just can't believe no one else stopped to help.
  • Is she serious silly me I thought the baby was the amazing gift at the end

I thought the best gift was to retain a cute vagina.
  • Um, sotto but I don't think vaginas are cute. And since sex got us all into this mess, it is safe to say that even if they were cute before, they wouldn't be after. :)

On my firstBMB this was a legitimate concern for one lady. She was curious if her vagina would still be cute post baby.

Ah, now that was a good thread.
