Jacob Edwin EDD:11/14 Born:11/16 @ 9:43am via scheduled c-section 9lbs 11oz 21.5in
After refusing to flip from breech position during my ECV, c-section was confirmed for Monday morning at 9:30am. Monday morning will always easily be one of the most nerve-wrecking experiences of my life. I've always been terrified of the thought of being awake during surgery and low and behold it was happening. Once we arrived at the hospital things went fast! We even went into the OR twenty minutes ahead of schedule. They had some issues placing the spinal, but once that was done my fear was gone and excitement took it's place. My SO came in and they got started after placing bets on his size. At around 9:40 my OB goes "that's a big butt!" and changed her estimate to a 9 pounder from an 8 pounder. At 9:43am dropped the curtain and we got to see our son for the first time. In that one second, it was all worth it. As soon as he went to go get cleaned up she told us that his cord had been wrapped around his neck so thank God he hadn't flipped.
It's so cheesy but I'm so in love with him and more in love with my SO than I ever thought possible.
My water broke at home early Monday morning and 23 hours later with a little more than 2 hours of pushing our little girl was here! We're both doing great and daddy and I are so in love and amazed with everything she does.
Rosalind Nicole EDD: 11/17 DOB: 11/18 7lb12oz, 21in long
Scheduled induction on our DD, cervadil placed at 2200, was crampy all night but slept after some Tylenol. Cervadil took us from 1/50 to 3/70, she broke my water spontaneously while checking me and I immediately starting having hard contractions 30 seconds apart. Had to wait an hour for fluids to run in before epi and honestly didn't think we'd get it before delivery. Got epi (amazing btw), was able to move around and all, and after an hour the relief was so amazing. An hour later was having horrific pressure but was told to labor down until doc got there an hour later. She was out 25 minutes after I started pushing but the hour of her ready and waiting caused horrible swelling and now I'm the talk of the unit ha. Everyone wants to see my cooch because it's so horrible . She came out screaming and super alert, had multiple tears and got 21 stitches. So glad our journey is completed, it's been a crazy ten months. Luck to all still waiting!
Phillip John III Born November 18, 2015 at 2:29pm via c section 7lbs 3oz 20 in.
Minimal movement on the 17th, nurses said everything was fine. Went to doctor appointment on the 18th at 830am still minimal movement. Doctor decided to push c section from the 28th to the 18th. Went home and spent time with my 17 month old. Came back to hospital around 11:30 and baby boy was born at 2:29pm. He is amazing and we are so in love with him. His older brother loves him already and very curious of him, two older stepsons will be meeting him later today :-)
Contractions started around 2pm on 11/13/15, had not had alot of movement earlier that day. So I called my Midwife she said to come in to the hospital for a NST. Got to the hospital they checked me, was already 4cm so she said I was staying NST was good, got my epidural and at 12:55 am she was born! 11 hours total of labor and it was pretty easy, but this is my first so I have nothing to compare it to.
She is prefect and we love her so much it makes me cry. Lol. Hormones are still crazy. Haha
Virginia Katherine (Ginny Kate) 5lbs 14 oz and Andrew Joseph 6lbs 4oz.
Born 11-5 at 5:51 and 6:24 pm.
Still coming to terms with how it all went down.
I was induced due to IUGR (babies dropped from 70th percentile to 40th). I labored for 11 hours with two failed epidurals...at 9 cm I was moved to the OR (standard for twins) to push. Andrew required an episiotomy but came out in three pushes. After that Ginny's heart rate dropped to the 30's then disappeared. They decided on a crash csection. Bc of the failed epidurals I felt everything and they pushed lots of meds to try to compensate. Long story, I hemmoraged then they kicked DH out of the room. We were reunited a few hours later in recovery with no real idea of what happened between. I am so grateful they are here and healthy, but anxious to hear what happened!
Rhys Cooper EDD: 11.22.15 DOB: 11.18.15 6lb 12oz and 21"
I had a membrane sweep at 39+3 and was told to expect contractions, but probably not real labor that soon. 6 HR later I lost the rest of my MP on the way out the door, and my water broke while signing in to L&D.
Baby was sunny side up (occipital anterior), and the back labor was absolutely intense and unbearable. Rhys heart rate dropped and stayed low, precipitating an immediate attempt to push him out (at just over 9cm). No pain meds, and no epidural (no time). He was out in 15 min, with a vacuum and Episiotomy assist.
We're both fine, and Rhys is amazing. I'm so thankful it turned out well. DH gets major kudos for how well he held it together. And next time, I won't wait for 2-3 min contractions before I go in, no matter what the midwife says!
Wyatt James EDD: 11/25 DOB: 11/19 7 pounds one ounce, 20.75 inches long. Our sweet breach baby boy arrived at 12:41 via scheduled c-section! I was slightly terrified, but the second I heard him cry made everything worth it! Daddy and I are so in love with him!

Congrats to everyone!! The pain is totally woth it!!
Lily is a beautiful miracle who has changed our world! She was born at 10:40 AM after 8 1/2 hours of labor. I had a home birth with a certified nurse midwife, and gave birth to Lily in my bath tub. Everything was so relaxed, and I had the ultimate authority in every decision. Lily is the most calm baby I have ever seen, which my husband and I attribute to the relaxed way she entered the world. For all of you mothers who may be nervous about home birth, just know that it is the best decision we have made for our daughter so far, and we know it will benefit her into her life.
Prayers and blessings to the rest of the November moms!

Wanted to have a natural birth but my water broke 11/19 at 7am, labored for 18 hours and she wasn't progressing because the cord was wrapped around her neck. Wound up having a c-section.
But at the end of it all we got to hold our beautiful girl in our arms and are madly in love with her!
I had to schedule an induction after having high blood pressure week 38 and 39. Coincidently during labor I had the opposite problem. I had several issues starting with the cytotech and epidural. They had to reinsert water at one point for the baby. I pushed so long without progress that he had to use forceps to help me out. My cervix was ripped and I got a third degree tear to my bottom. I lost a lot of blood, passed out my first chance to get up and earned extra time in the hospital. I am swollen like the stay puft man and can hardly walk with these balloon feet. A blowup donut is my new best friend. And I fear I may never poop again. But oh how in love I am with this little man. It was all worth it.
Silas René EDD Nov 19th Born Nov 18th at 6:28pm 8lbs and 21 inches even and a 14.75 inch head.
Induced on the 17th, 20 hours of labor and 15 minutes of pushing and I can't even begin to describe what I'm feeling. (I don't think DH can either)
I have a 3rd degree perineal tear, a 2nd somewhere else, and a tear right beside my clitoris. Though it doesn't hurt as bad as I was expecting it to, a bit of stinging but more of a general ache. Bled more than they wanted so I was kept an extra day and tonight is our first night home, he's currently in his crib and holy shit the paranoia. Thank god for baby monitors.
Since my c/s was scheduled for Tuesday the 17th, I decided to do my freezer meal Marathon on Sunday. Got up bright and early, had a surprising amount of energy while in the kitchen. At noon, with soup simmering on the stove, I sat down at my PC for a short break. That's when it happened. I had 1 decent cramp, noted the time (just to be safe, I'd had the occasional cramp here and there, but only one at a time), and as adjusted in my seat, I gushed. I tried a kegal to stop it, but nothing; this was definitely my water breaking. mumbled something to DH about the hospital, and off we went ( making sure everything in the kitchen was turned off, of course!). Called L&D on the way to let them know I was a scheduled c and my water broke. OB greeted me at the L&D front desk, took me right back to a bed for an exam. He wanted to check my dialatiom, just to see how urgent surgery had to be. I was 4cm with a foot on its y down! So pretty urgent. By the time DH parked and joined me, I had at least 5 nurses all prepping me for surgery. Little girls head was in such an odd place that they had to do a cross cut on my uterus, so VBACs aren't in the cards for me. She was born at 1:58pm, about an hour after arriving at the hospital. We took a day getting to know her before deciding on a name.
Joy Lisette EDD 11/30 BD 11/20 @0128 6#8.4oz 18 inches
Water broke at work in the middle of seeing a patient in clinic. Went up to l&d. Was 5 cm. Had a small amount of pitocin to get contractions a little stronger. She was born almost 12 hours after my water broke. All my other kids were always induced at term so this surprised me. Never had my water break on its own. She is my smallest and took the longest to come. Epidural didn't work near as well as I would have liked so pushing was awful. All is well now. Hoping to go home tomorrow. Of course she would decide to come during the first snow (and big one at that). Big sisters and brothers are taken with her.

Started having contractions 15 mins apart on the 19th at 5 pm, labored all night until 7 am and went to hospital when contractions were 5 mins apart. Got checked and was 5cm! Labored and walked the halls till I was 7 cm then got epidural and thank god I did because I had never ending contractions. Nurses had never seen anything like that without pit. About 45 mins after epi it was time to push. 35 mins later my life changed for the better and I have never been so in love

EDD 11-18-2015

I was suppose to be induced on 11-19 but the hospital was extremely busy so we were delayed . On 11-20 we were advice to come in for a nst and they would try to squeeze us in.
We were seen at 230 for nst then adviced to walk for an hour and check back. My husband made me do flights of stairs lol when we returned they found us a room .
We were checked in technically at 5pm. Inducement began at 6pm with them breaking my water and I was 3cm pitocin began shortly after but I didn't feel any severe pain till 8ish. My epidural was placed at 840pm and I was 4cm. The next two hours I felt somewhat nauseous but when checked I hadn't dilated anymore. So my nurse went on dinner at 1030 and I started to feel pressure. Sure enough at 1115 I was fully dilated.
I labored down for 30 minutes and began pushing at 1145. Anna came out at 1231am and has been my biggest baby so far.
Aside from some nauseous followed by vomiting during pushing everything went very well .

I was induced around 6:15 on the morning of 11/13. Doc put me somewhere btwn a 2 and 3 the day before induction. Contractions started around 7, and by 9, they had escalated to the point that I couldn't carry on a conversation and wasn't getting much relief. I asked for the epidural around 9:30 and it was completely in place by about 10:30. Best decision ever. I was able to get a bit of a nap. The nurse still put me btwn a 2 and 3 at my 11:00 check. But by 2, I had progressed to a 9! They let the doc know, but they also said they wanted me to labor down a bit bc his head wasn't low enough and they didn't want me pushing for hours with no progress. By 4:45, it was time to push. After about an hour of pushing, Hudson was born at 5:52 PM. The pushing process was more tiring than painful, except for when his head and shoulders actually came through the birth canal--that hurt a bit! But then it was over and I had my perfect little man :-). I had a first degree year, but the doc was very impressed and bragged that I did very well considering his size and the fact that he is my first baby. I love him more than I could have ever imagined.

Bloody show (not loss of MP) and cramps about 10 mins apart at 5:30 in the morning prompted a call to Dr. On call Dr said to go to L&D around 7:30 or 8:00. Took a shower while DH got DS, DD, and mother up. Had a bowl of oatmeal on the way to hospital. Contractions got stronger on the way and 5 mins apart. Checked into L&D at 8:00. Was 5cm and 90% effaced with a serious bloody show. Got my IV for GBS and then was able to move around during labor. Contractions got very strong around 9:30 when transitional labor began. That stuff is no joke! Dr broke water at 10:05 and after 4 pushes we met our little boy. Despite this being my third pregnancy, I felt like a FTM because the pregnancy and labor was so different than previous times. He latched right away and I was startled by how strong his sucking reflex was. He is so beautiful and doing great!

Can't imagine life without her! So blessed for a healthy beautiful baby girl! One first degree and one second degree tear but recovery had gone amazing! Ava is breast feeding like a champ! Could not be happier with how everything went!
Jaxon Shayne Born November 19th at 2:11 am Due November 17th 7 pounds 8oz 20.5 inches long I laboured for 7 hours in total. I was started on oxytocin after my water broke and contractions didn't start on their own (I was gbs positive) and was asking for an epidural since about an hour into the oxytocin. Inconveniently, the anesthesiologist was in surgery until I was 9cm dilated. They gave me the epidural anyways, which didn't do a THING, but after 1.5 hours of pushing my little angel was born happier and healthier than I could ever have dreamed! Congratulations to all of you and good luck to those who have yet to "pop"!
Elliot James 7lbs3oz EDD - November 18th BORN - November 17th @ 7:51am
12 hours of labor. 45 minutes of pushing. Sent to C-section because baby boy's heart rate was dropping and rising throughout contractions and pushing. It turns out he was partially transverse and trying to come out of the birth canal slightly diagonally. Glad we went to C-section when we did because I don't think he was making it out any other way! We are all doing well and are home He is amazing and is doing so well breastfeeding!
I was induced on Tuesday at midnight due to the possibility that he was big. They started a foley bulb at midnight which fell out after an hour where I was 3 cm. Started piticion by 230 am and had my epidural by 10am. At 6pm i was finally 9cm and an hour later my doctor came back and it was pushing time. After 45 mins our sweet boy came into the world shocking everyone at only 7 pounds 13 ounces and 19.5 inches long.
Elliot Jane EDD: 11-28 Born 11-22-15 8:54 am 6 pounds 9 ounces 19 inches
After 25 hours of excruciating labor, they broke my water and baby went into distress. She was stuck with her head bent down to the side of her neck and her arm was also stuck up beside her face. They rushed me into emergency C-Section right away. They bruised her back trying to get her out because she was so stuck. Although this was not the plan, We are so, so, so, in love with her!!!
Contractions were lasting around 2 minutes each, so the epidural was an absolute life saver. We went in around 11:30pm on 11/20 and got the epidural just before 5am. I was able to get a little bit of sleep but we were progressing pretty slowly. She had dropped to station +3 on her own but since I'm a FTM I still ended up pushing around an hour and a half. She is absolutely perfect and we couldn't imagine our lives without her.
Harper Christine Due 11/20 Born 11/24 7 pounds, 3 ounces 20 1/2 inches
Starting having pretty regular contractions around 9:30pm 11/23, didn't think it was the real thing until they got about 5 minutes apart and started to really hurt. My water broke at home around 12:45. Headed to the hospital, got triaged (dilated to a 5), finally put in L&D around 2:30, was a generous 7 according to the nurse. Got to 10 around 3, started pushing around 3:05am and she was born at 3:19am! No epidural this time or with my second, but was surprised that this time was significantly more painful than my second? I think due to back labor though... Either way, glad she's here and glad she's healthy!

Bled more than they wanted so I was kept an extra day and tonight is our first night home, he's currently in his crib and holy shit the paranoia. Thank god for baby monitors.
And Percocet.

Congrats everyone!

I laboured for 7 hours in total.
