Our weather for the next few days is supposed to be high 40's low 50's. Mostly sunny with a few crappy days in between. I'll take my 40 degree weather. Today its 48 outside, but much hotter in my office- I have windows open and fans blowing...and I still feel hot! maybe I'm coming down with something...

Monday's at work are horrible. (I work at Target) I am soooo tired from working my 6 days in a row and just want to go home and sleeeeppp until the end of time! I've been complaining about anything and everything alllll week I feel bad for my store manager who has been my ears this past week. Okay rant over! Who else is just feeling blaaahh or feeling the baby blues?!

Last year we didn't get snow until well after Christmas, then it was like the worst winter ever! This year we can have all of the snow days - I won't be making them up so bring em on!! My parents came to visit us this weekend and at one point my mom asked me why I had three rugs on my baby registry, and I was like what??? I told her I'd started a Target registry just to stay organized about what I need, but I thought it was a private registry that no one could see but me, and I was still adding and deleting things from it, and keeping a few different options of certain items (hence the three rugs) until I decided which one I wanted. Well, she told me that she happened to Google my name the other day and came across my Target registry through The Bump. This sounded vaguely familiar, so i checked my Target registry settings and sure enough there is some fine print about how even if you mark the registry "unlisted" people can still find it through The Bump or some other registry search sites and you have to email those sites directly to ask to be removed. Just a little PSA for anyone else in the same situation! I'll probably eventually make the registry public just in case individual family/friends want to get me something (doesn't look like I'll be having a shower), but I still have some tinkering to do first!
@2goofykids I second adding in some yummies and blending into a smoothie. My favorite smoothie blends banana, peanut butter, and nutella. Obviously, it's not a smoothie for your health
DH bought batteries over the weekend for our scale, and I was surprised by my lack of weight gain. I'm still really struggling to eat much if anything for dinner most nights. Breakfast is my have to meal, and lunch is my real give me all the food meal. I snack some in the afternoon, but beyond that, most of the time dinner just doesn't sound good...
@skruhmin maybe this will be a 'nick of time' baby? My mother likes to tell about how the doctor just managed to pop into the room in time to catch me. On a weather related note, my mom was convinced she HAD TO have a vehicle with 4wd just in case we havesnow or ice when I go into labor, so she talked my dad into a new vehicle. I'm hopeful we won't have too many snow days so it doesn't push back the end of school date and mess with my maternity leave, but I'm pretty sure the weather pattern predicted for this year points to all things white. I just have to make sure I can get DS one of those cool toddler sleds ordered
Stay safe all you blizzard folks! We had some snow this weekend, but no accumulations. This week, however, the weather is supposed to be in the fifties and sunny. I can't wait for the real snow to start.
I am finally starting to feel my appetite returning. Still far from 100%, but at least a little closer to normal. Tomorrow is my glucose test and I'm worried all the lack of eating the last couple of days is going to make things wonky.

I take offense to this. I offered valuable information like "call your doctor" and now we will never know what happened to her. How can we prepared for "fingernails of feta" if it happens to us. Ugh thanks, TB
Well ladies I'm done bumping for tonight. Have to get my phone charged. Already hearing of power outages and 2 large tornadoes reported with the storm headed our way. So I know there's a dream thread somewhere, but since this involves a few of you regulars, I figured it'd be ok to put it here:
During my nap today I had a dream that @skruhmin, @kynbar5 and I were driving around looking at Christmas lights when all of a sudden skruhmin went into labor. She wanted to have a home birth, but we weren't close to home, so we just started knocking on doors asking if she could come in and have her baby (a la Mary and Joseph, I guess). No one would let her, until finally we came to the house of a blind lady. She said we could use her basement because she was blind and wouldn't see the mess anyway. Lol.
We all trekked down to her basement and skruhmin proceeded to run in circles until a pair of tennis shoes fell out of her hoo-ha. Finally she started jumping up and down until the baby literally fell out onto the floor.
I have really disturbing dreams.

@skruhmin how are you holding up in the blizzard? Do you have power? Ours flickered a few times and tripped over half of our breaker so dh had to keep going outside to reset it. Colorado knows they get snow so why would they put breakers outside??

Well I slept pretty good last night! Pretty good for a pregnant lady lol. I was up at 3, but fell asleep at 5, and my alarm goes off at 5:50 but I was dreaming before the alarm went off, so that means I got sleep lol.

We only got around 6" down here. About half of what they were predicting.
I'm so jealous!! I love going out for breakfast. DH just got home from work so he's going to sleep. He said not too many power outages. It was a busy night but not too bad.
Ahh its been pouring here since about 6 and it is making me soo sleepy. I just want to take a nap here at my desk.
I just read a thread on the 3rd trimester where she paid for a prenatal massage but turns out the therapist didn't even know she was pregnant. I am so confused as to how that is even possible.
1. Do you not look pregnant in your 3rd trimester?
2. How on earth did you lay on your stomach?
3. A prenatal massage is signficiantly different and not as good as a regular one how can you not tell the difference (maybe she hasn't had a massage before although I don't know how people live without them!).
4.Did they not discuss your medical history/wants before the massage? I have never had that not happen.
I had a 5 hour meeting yesterday that I have been prepping for the last 2 weeks. My portion was about an hour presentation to our executive committee and of course I had to put my boss' together for her since she has never had an original thought in her life. Soooo glad it's over and I fully plan on not doing ANYTHING functional today at work. Except bump of course.
