Also, labor started around 5 AM, I drove myself to the hospital so my husband could take the kids to daycare and meet me there. I was 3cm at 7:11 and they established that my membranes had ruptured and started getting a L&D room ready. As soon as my IV was started I told them I was feeling a ton of pressure and they booked it down the hall to L&D but she was born in the hallway right outside the L&D waiting room (thankfully it was still early and quiet) at 7:44 AM. My husband missed it by 5 minutes
Mommie went into the hospital Wednesday with symptoms of potential appendicitis. Prognosis pending. Baby girl doing great
12:54PM | 6lbs | 20" long.
We are both doing great!
EDD 12/04/15
Weighing in at 6lbs 7oz 17 3/4 long
Little girl is doing great just trying to make sure we get her blood sugar under control...we couldn't be more happier to have this wonderful blessed little girl in our lives
Sorry for double post pic didn't upload at first.
I woke up at about 5:30 AM on the morning of the 15th to underwear soaked with blood. Bleeding continued and was going down my leg. We booked it to L&D 20 minutes away and were immediately admitted. Doc said my placenta must have been bleeding, water broke..everything. I was 2-3 cm dilated and 70% effaced at 7 AM. They decided to definitely deliver that day because of risk of infection. By 3 PM however, I was only at 6 cm and still bleeding heavily - which doc finally admitted was not normal and must be related to the placenta not being properly attached. They were concerned about the bleeding posing a risk to baby before she got out vaginally, so we did a C-Section 30 minutes later. Most terrifying experienc of my life to quickly be prepped and shipped off to surgery to remove baby.
But everything went perfectly! Baby is beautiful and only had difficulty with blood sugar which she has since gotten control of. Turns out my placenta looked like that of a past-due womb, however I delivered at 36w4d so who knows. She didn't have to go to NICU and only spent a bit in the nursery for her blood sugar. We're looking at 3-4 days in the hospital before we take our precious baby home. Took awhile to latch and we are using a shield due to my nipples not protruding like they should, but she is feeding great and I couldn't be more proud. Can't wait to eat real food and take a shower
Good thing we put up the christmas tree last night! Haha.
Born: Nov. 14 (my late brother's birthday/37 weeks)
Time: 1:01p
Due: Dec. 5
Weight: 5lb 3oz
Length: 17 1/2 inches
Had a few issues with low blood sugars but is now doing great and we went home today!
I started losing my mucus plug yesterday then as the night progressed I had heavy bleeding. My doctor decided to do a csection early. I was 37 weeks pregnant. I'm so happy my little man is finally here and healthy. His blood sugar is being monitored but other than that he's perfect.
I went in for my weekly NST and BPP and baby A (Liam) didn't want to do anything for them today. I was told at 11:30 we were going to have some babies today and they were out about an hour later.
Liam Xavier (left) was born at 12:40pm weighing 5lbs 14oz and 18.5 inches long
Elijah Rush (right) was born at 12:41pm weighing 5lbs 11oz and 19 inches long
They are having a little trouble breathing on their own so they transfered them to a separate hospital with a NICU. They are doing pretty well and should only be there for a few days. Hopefully my little ones and myself will be able to go home together soon!
