Jude Benjamin Due: Nov. 7/15 Induction Scheduled for Nov. 1/15 Born: Oct. 31/15 6 lbs 15 oz.
Due to high BP and GD I was supposed to be induced on Nov. 1, went in to see the doctor yesterday, checked me at 2-2.5 cm and then did a membrane sweep. At about 1:00 this morning I started having horrible cramps, so bad that I didn't sleep at all. By 5:30 I admitted that I was in labour and called L&D, I was told to wait at home because even though my contractions were 3 mins apart they were only 30-45 seconds long. I waited at home until noon when contractions were 2 mins long and 2 mins apart and then came in. By the time I got to the hospital I was 5-6 cm and contractions were long and intense. My water broke on it's own and then the fun began. Despite my wanting pain meds I couldn't have anything because the anesthetist was in the OR on an emergency case. By 1:30 I was told this baby was coming soon and I likely wouldn't be able to get my pain meds and even if I did they wouldn't be helpful at this stage anyway. I pushed for what felt like forever, but was apparently only half and hour and out came my beautiful little pumpkin. He is so perfect and so amazing and I don't think I could ever love anything or anyone more than I love him.

Penelope Rose EDD 11/6 Birthdate 10/30 5 LBS 13 OZ 19 3/4 inches long
On 10/29 I called my doctor's after office hours to let them know I was concerned that may water may have broken but it was a VERY slow trickle. Doctor assured me it did not sound like my water had broken. I had an OB appointment the following day and asked my doctor to run a test to see if water had broken to be safe. It had. My water had been broken for over 24 hours. The baby had also had a bowel movement. AND the doctor I had seen the last 3 weeks who told me baby was head down had been wrong. Baby was breech. I was told to go directly to L&D for a C-section and that's just what we did. I would not recommend a cesarean! But still, so, so worth it. Beyond in love with my little peanut.
Name: Brielle Aspen (named after me) Edd: 11/12 Birthdate: 11/1 Weight: 6 lbs 1 oz Length: 19 in
While walking though the grocery store around 5 pm, I kept feeling low down pain, but not really anything new. Just felt like low cramping. I ignored it, then started to feel nauseated. Didn't pay much attention to that either, and headed home to get some dinner. Thankfully it was just a light chicken salad, as contractions started very faintly at 6:15 pm or so. I didn't believe it was real, especially because they were only 2-2 1/2 min apart.
Once I started to realize they were getting stronger, we headed to labor and delivery. Long story short, I was at a 6 and 100% effaced when we got there. I still didn't believe I was going to have her quickly, so asked to get in the laboring tub. They checked me at 7:50 before I was about to get in and said nope, baby's coming, call the doctor!
At 8:25 pm our sweet little girl was born after a few pushes! A little over a 2 hour labor(my first was 4 1/2). Trust your instincts! If I hadn't trusted my gut, I would have been having her in the car!
At my 36 week appointment my blood pressure was again high. I was sent home to do a 24 hour urine catch. The next day, because of those results, my doc admitted me to the hospital to wait for a week until I was 37 weeks. The hospital was no fun, but we did get to know the nurses and even got to pick who we wanted on induction day.
Cervix ripening stuff overnight, pitocin around 9am. Chill. Doc broke my water around 3pm, holy hard contractions. Epidural. Chill. Around 6:15 I felt crazy strong contractions and then she moved down so much that is did feel at first like I was going to take a massive dump on the table. Nurse checked and I'd jumped to 8cm. 2 minutes later I felt I I'd no choice but to push. Nurse tried to tell me not to but when she checked again I was fully dialated and her head was right there. They gathered nurses thinking my doc would t make it, but the nurses couldn't help me until the doc arrived. I laid there pushing on each contraction, head coming out a bit each time while they talked about how little hair she had. Finally, doc arrived, they finally helped hold my legs and 2 pushes later, she was born at 6:55. They basically said I went to fast all of a sudden that my epidural couldn't keep up. I felt every bit of that pushing. Yikes!
So glad to have her home. We did have to keep going back for heel pricks for bilirubin levels and then stay overnight in the hospital under the lights, but now she is happy and healthy and we are in love.
Note to the preeclampsia ladies: that puffiness is no joke. I had puffed up so badly and gained over 40 pounds. 10 days later that's all gone and I can't tell you how awesome my skin feels without that swelling. I had not realized how bad it was until it was gone.
Josiah Aiden EDD 11/17 Born 10/22 @ 36.2 weeks 6lbs 7oz, 19 inches long
Our lil man was born early via c-section due to my high blood pressure and non-reactive NSTs. I went in for my NST and after lots and lots of testing my doctor ultimately decided a c-section would be our best option. We were very fortunate that both of us are healthy.
Born via c section at 11:28 am. We are overjoyed and over the moon with our little piece of heaven. she's a little early but shes happy and healthy and that's all that matters.
I started being induced on Friday October 30th. Did three doses of Cervidil and doctors wanted me to try to go into labor on my own. Finally went on my own Sunday night and pushed for two hours to get this precious doll. We are so in love.
Just wanted to touch in and say that our son has arrived!! Last Tuesday night, (while watching the Voice), my water broke! I was due November 6, so was a bit unexpected. Needless to say, we rushed to the hospital and after 24 hours of labor--including 4 hours of pushing (literally!), I ended up having a c-section as my pelvis is apparently not big enough to deliver vaginally. Was quite the labor & delivery but after all, I cannot express the love I have for our little boy, Kieran. He was born healthy & happy--8lb1oz and 21.5 inches at 8:04PM on Wednesday, October 28 2015!! There truly is no greater love in life than that of having a child. Thank you all for your help along the way and be assured, I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!! It's SO worth it--every part of it so don't worry too much! We all can do it:)
Just delivered Madison Renee, my VBAC baby today! She was due October 23rd, and I was going to be induced Nov 5th. But my water broke last night, and she was born 14 hours later! She's 8 lbs 9 oz (guess that happens when you're 10 days overdue ). She's 20.75 inches, and I didn't even need stitches from her 14-inch head! We are so in love with her and her big sister!
Born at 2:14am, weighing 7lb 15 oz, 21 inches long! 15 hour labour, reached full progression naturally but was sent for an emergency c section at 10cm as her heart rate was high and i had a high fever. She spent 48 hours in the NICU on antibiotics, and I wasn't able to see her until 9am as I was asleep during my cesarean
Regardless, we are so happy to have her home with us. We love her so much ❤️
Maria (Mia) Grace arrived on Nov 2 at 3:51am. I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia on Friday and when my bp spiked on Monday they decided to induce me (I was 39 wks). Everything went smoothly after that and I had a pretty easy delivery. She was 6lbs 2oz and just the sweetest little thing.
Micah Daniel arrived! Hello, Team Blue! EDD: Nov. 2 DOB: Nov. 3
I have a history of precipitous labors with all of my kids, and Micah was no different. I woke with contractions at 3:30am, checked in at the hospital at 5:00am, and had a baby in my arms at 5:36am. It was a whirlwind of an arrival, but at least I made it to a hospital bed in time! We are loving our newest little peanut (even our only daughter who was really hoping for a sister)!
Garrett Walter EDD 11/10, born 11/03 8 lbs, 21 inches long & so perfect! 19 hour labor, 12 hours at home & 7 in the hospital with 35 minutes of pushing! Mom & dad are totally in love with my our new bundle of joy! Good luck to all you mamas!! Couldn't be more worth it!
Ella Rose EDD 11-5 Born 10-30 Weight 6 Lbs 11 Oz Length 19 In
Went into ER for a swollen foot thursday night and was sent home. I had a doctors appointment the next morning and when my dr saw i was 3 cm dialated and my blood pressure was elevated he decided to induce. After 10 hours of labor, 1 painful and not so effective epidural, and 30 mins of pushing our beautiful baby girl Ella Rose was born at 9:10 PM she is worth every moment of labor. I never thought i could love someone this much. Hang in there girls!! We can all get through it! Wishing all happy and healthy babies! ♡♡♡
After not having had a single contraction I was ready to be in for the long haul. Then Monday, at exactly 37 weeks around 8:30pm I started feeling contractions and by 9 they were pretty regular and painful. We waited the requisite two hours my doctor recommended then called the hospital. The charge nurse I talked to actually said she thought I stay home and labor longer as it didn't sound like my contractions were very intense. I hadn't really been able to focus on babies movements through the pain and told her I'd feel more comfortable coming in. So glad I listened to my gut! Baby girl was doing just fine in there, but when I showed up I was at 4cm, and my water broke almost immediately. I quickly progressed and was pushing within an hour or so. One hour of intense pushing and our little baby was here, we're both doing great even though she was several weeks early!!
Adalyn Rae EDD: 11/12 Born: 11/1 at 9:25am 8lbs 20 inches
My water broke at 5am 10/31 such a tiny amount I didn't even think that is what had happened. Then at 7:30 i had a bit more leakage, called my midwife. I had no contractions and was feeling fine. Was told to wait a bit longer until the leakage was more of little gushes then to go to the ER. We checked in at 10. My water had indeed broke but labor contractions had not started. We were able to leave and go home until either labor started or to come back at 5pm to start induction. Nothing happened on its own so we went back at 5pm. At 7 they gave me one dose of oral induction medication. This was going to be repeated every 3 hours for 3 doses and then pitocin would be the next step. But I only need one dose and my contractions started at 9pm. By 10 my contractions were strong and every minute and a half a part this continued for 3 hours, I then decided to have an epidural (great decision for me!). This allowed my body to build strength, get some sleep, and prepare for pushing. The next morning at 7 I was 9 1/2 cm dilated. At this point I was running out of time because the time from when my water broke to now was consisted high risk for infection. They started taking pitocin again but with some great positioning strategies from my nurse I was able to complete my dialation with a peanut ball side stretch. I then pushed for 1 1/2 hours and finally got to hold our baby girl! We are so in love!
James John (aka JJ) EDD: 11-09 Born 11-04 @2:31am 9 lbs 10oz 21 in Head-14.75in
What a day!! If you recall my story I was so afraid he would come in the car with this being my 4th baby and my labors shorter and shorter each time. WELL not this baby! Oh no he had to be my hardest and longest. I don't really know when I went into "real" labor but I started contracting every 10 min starting on 11-03 around 11am. They stuck around all day and and slowly but sporadicly grew closer together. For about 3 hours they were at 3-4 min apart but didn't feel like true labor contractions, they got down to 1.5 min at one point and I decided to take a bath. Then they stoped for about 15 min. Around 9:30pm(11/03) they started back up at 2-3 min. They started going in my back and by midnight we were off to the birthing center. I tried the jetted tub for a little bit and it was nice but got way to hot. I labored on the floor for about an hour or so and I couldn't tell you how long I pushed but it seemed like forever and it hurt like hell!! I guess it was around 20-30 min maybe. He didn't shoot out like the rest of mine had, he made me work for it!! Felt every damn inch and the ring of fire with this one! I started out on my back/side but they made me go on all 4's to get him out all the way after his head was partially out, there was a fear his shoulder might get stuck. The best part is when theyre out its all over! Had two very small tears, one inside and one outside. Best part is we were back home by 7am and I got to take my oldest to school
JJ is one lil chunck but fit just fine in his NB coming home outfit! His brothers are happy to finally meet him!!
And a head FULL of hair!! Yup it's true with me in that dang indigestion and hair theory.
I had a regular OB appointment that morning and everything looked just fine. At the end of the workday, I used the bathroom before leaving and realized I couldn't stop. I thought it might be my water but wasn't sure (it wasn't like I "imagined" it would be), so I called my OB and she said to go in and get checked out. I headed in to labor and delivery after sitting in rush hour forever. At that point mild contractions had started, so I was pretty sure this was it. When they checked me, it full on broke and I was 4 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I started texting my husband things to pack in a bag, since we hadn't done that yet. 18 hours of labor and 3.5 of pushing and we got to find out it was a boy! He was perfect - no NICU time and a good size for being a month early.
Broyce Odell Born November 2, 2015 10:49 pm 7lbs 2.5 ounces 19 1/2 in. Long
Started having contractions early Monday morning, at 6 it was really hurting and I knew I needed to go in. so happy he came that day, I was scheduled to be induced today and I really didn't want to be induced. I think what helped me was I bought a ball Friday night and bounced on it and that helped move him along. I had to push for 2 hours and then at the end he had to be taken out with forceps, but he is ok. I am so in love!!
Houston Lee EDD: 11/8 Born: 11/2 6lbs 15oz 20 1/2" Long
Went into the hospital around 2 on Sunday the 1st. Was only at 3 cm decided around 6pm to get an epidural, progressed to 9cm by 9pm and couldn't progress any farther. Finally was ready to push around 3am and he was born at 4:06am. SO, SO in love!
Claire Olivia 8lbs, 21 inches EDD: Nov 2nd Birth Day: Nov 3rd Induced on 2nd for GD and hypertension, Cytotec then Pitocin for 11 hours, 30 minutes pushing. We are so over the moon about our baby girl. Motherhood is the bomb.
Labored for just about 14 hours which was pretty easy since I got the epidural only about 30 mins after they broke my water. Pushed for about 15 minutes and out came my little girl She's breast feeding like a champ and doing great! Can't wait to go home later today! Good luck the rest of you N15 mommies! You'll do great!
At 11:30 Monday night my water broke after I stood up from one of my many nightly trips to pee. We got our things together and finished up the hospital bag and got to the hospital at about 1 AM. I was dilated to a 5 upon arrival despite the fact that I wasn't having many contractions yet. Not long after they hit me like a truck and were coming hard and fast, only getting the occasional minute breather. I was going to get my epidural, they checked me and I was at a 7. Then sat me up to get it placed. That's when the most terrifying experience of my life began. My nurse grabbed the baby heart rate monitor from my belly and started moving it around. She wasn't saying anything, but I knew I could no longer hear a beat. She found it, but it had dropped to between 50-60 BPM. They instantly flipped me onto all fours and gave me some injections to try and slow the contractions to get his heart rate back up, but that didn't happen. Less than 5 minutes from the heart rate drop they had me in the OR for a c section under general anesthesia because they didn't have time for a spinal, they just needed to get baby out. Thankfully our sweet boy is okay and is no worse for wear other than a small bruise on his cheek. Luckily I was not worked up over a birth plan, because this most certainly would not have been it other than the healthy baby in the end.

Oliver James EDD Nov. 18th Scheduled C-Section for Nov. 5th due to high bp/mild pre-e. Born at 1:39 p.m. 9 pounds, 4 ounces and 22 inches of pure love.
I was really apprehensive about going in for a repeat c-section after my emergency c-section was so bad with my DD. It went as smooth as can be, no pain whatsoever and I got to see my son right after he was born.
We've hit a few complications along the way, I nearly hemorrhaged in recovery and had to stay in a little longer (we think bleeding is under control.) Oliver swallowed some fluid when he was born and had to have his little lungs drained, now he's breathing fast at times yet all his vitals and lab work has come back with nothing but the very best news. Hes latching like a pro, and stealing everyone's hearts. My daughter is in love, and shows her brother off to everyone. I am one blessed momma.
8 hours of labor , 2 hours of pushing She had to be vacuumed because she got stuck but came out looking amazing . Healthy beautiful girl I'm so in love
Spencer (middle name TBD) Born on his due date: 11/6 9 lbs 3 oz 21 inches
14 hours of unmedicated labor and 4 hours of pushing later, this perfect little man came into the world! He definitely gave me a run for my money!! We are exhausted, but madly in love. He looks just like his dad and has a full head of dark hair.
Mckenna Rena Birth date-Nov 6 Due date-Nov 24 Water broke in the middle of the night and she was born via c section at 513. 6 lbs 7 oz and she is perfect
Water broke early mornin on Halloween, three weeks earlier than expected. I had no contractions so I was able to take my oldest trick or treating. Contractions started that night at 12:30am, was in hospital at 1:30 am and Soon after baby girl came.
Baby Christina came a little early but we are so happy and excited. The birth was much better than with my first and I was a happy mama to not have any tears this time around! Good luck Nov moms
Into the week of my EDD I had barely any contractions . The doctor scheduled my induction on November 2nd at 8 am but that morning at 2:26 am my water broke . Got to the hospital , wasnt having any really strong contractions and was only 1 cm dilated , started small doses of pitocin to get the ball rolling and by 12 pm was still only 3 cm . by then i couldnt take any more pain and opted for the epidural . they increased the pitocin and by 1 pm i was 10 cm , 100 % and the baby was on her way out . took about 3 pushes and 16 minutes later , DD was born . i cried like a baby . had about a second degree tear to the left side of the labia but it all was worth it . She's perfect . daddy and i both did skin to skin and the nurses were in love . wouldnt trade her or this experience for the world .

EDD Nov. 18th
Scheduled C-Section for Nov.
