@tbyers07 Okay. First let me say that I love the phone tree system at the office.
Secondly, last month I had 1 mature follicle and my progesterone came back at 16. This month I had two mature follicles - 1 on either ovary so I'm waiting on Wednesday impatiently because while i know the progesterone #'s vary largely - I'm going to compare them anyway lol.
Also, if you crack and test on Friday that should put you at 12dpiui because Sunday puts me at 12dpiui. And I am on the cusp of cracking myself - which I know will result in further anxiety either way it goes lol
I'll let you know about my progesterone Wednesday. I'm curious where I compare with others too.
BTW ask Dr. Webster about the stats of infertility in Louisiana and the coastal region here. Interesting info.
@GeauxTigers77 wait, what are the stats? Now, I'm so curious and wishing I had your doctor haha
Married to DH 10/6/12
TTC since 5/14
Unexplained with (controlled) hypothyroidism and suspected ovulatory dysfunction (but, I do ovulate on my own)
Clomid 50 mg 3/15 (unmonitored) - BFN
Clomid 50 mg + metformin 4/15 (unmonitored) - BFN
First RE appt. 5/15; Natural cycle 5/15 monitored with 2 mature follicles and Pregnyl Trigger (full dose) + prometrium - BFN
6/15 HSG - clear tubes & normal uterus; great PCT test results
TI - 100 mg Clomid + prometrium (AM & PM) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 6-7/15 (monitored) --> no additional response and thinned lining - BFN
TI - Injectables (follistim + Gonal-F, Ganirelix, & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 9/15 --> 3-7 mature follicles (3 definites and 4+ that could have matured due to trigger) @ O -->BFN + 5 large cysts
@tbyers & @riveridgional I have a type A personality as well and so having the phone tree and patient portal helps feed not only my obsession lol.
Let me give you the background on the stats i was referring to. Dr. Webster has been my RE since 2001. I also attend HPC (Healing Place Church) on Highland. They have a huge ministry that focuses on IF - all types and adoption. Beth Forbus (whom I love) not only runs an IF & Child loss support group - several in fact, but also hosts a IF and Child loss Workshop once a year at HPC. Dr. Webster speaks every year and also answers questions from couples and individuals about anything they ask from treatment options, to cost, to how to handle their emotions. He also gives you information - statistics. Things related to our region here in the gulf as well as pushing to get insurance companies to recognize infertility as an illness.
There's one stat I keep meaning to ask him about but I forget in the moment. Don't quote me verbatum but during the IF & Child loss workshop this year he said something about infertility in our region here in Louisiana/Gulf/Coastal region being higher than other places - and I think he'd do more research if the funding or grants were available. It makes me wonder if its genetics, our diets in this area or maybe general lifestyle. I'd really like to know more.
On a side note - HPC has adoption help and IF help - resources, support and people if anyone lurking out there on the boards may want additional info. Also Beth Forbus - who brought her book to Dr. Webster during her IF struggle and asked him, "What do I do with this?" - It's called Baby Hunger. I have it, love it and am happy to pass it on with my other books and references that have come through her and Sarah's Laughter. They are a great way to pass time during the TWW...I might go home and reread one just for that purpose! LOL

I'm only 5dpiui but I have had cramping in my lower left abdomen since last night. I know it's too early for anything and it's just my brain driving me crazy with wishful thinking
@katie121209 Stay positive! I had cramping a few days past O and I got an early BFP. My RE's official test date for me isn't until the 5th but I've gotten BFPs since Friday.
Thank you! @katie121209 That would have been CD26 which was 10dpo. I was crampy and had twinges and flutters between 2dpo and 9dpo (give or take a day). The last few days, I haven't had anything and I sort of miss the twinges and cramps because I felt like something was happening! LOL.
Looking back...one thing that is interesting is that before I was on any fertility medications, my cycle was only 26-27 days. So it is interesting that it gave me a postive at CD26. Now, my RE has me on progesterone pills that was going to lengthen my cycle regardless of pregnancy or not.

@mummysmomma I think 9dpiui is a little early for most women. 12dpiui is the earliest some RE will do a sensitive blood test so you are still in the game. I tested at 9dpiui to see if trigger is still present last month. Last month's IUI which ended in a BFN, I still had a faint positive at 9dpiui & 10dpiui, then 11dpiui and forward was all negative.
Patience is the bain of my existence these days in my IF life lol
Half way through the TWW. Still killing me lol. Had my 7dpiui progesterone drawn this morning! Results are in @ 23.12ng!
@tbyars07 I was talking to Jennifer this morning about progesterone levels - because no matter how many times I am told that there is wide range and that a higher # doesn't mean better, my IF tells me something else in my head lol. She said anything over 4 is what they are looking for and that your progesterone varies throughout the day. I knew above 4 was the goal but didn't know that it varied so much throughout the day. It could be 10 this morning and if your had another draw later it could be 40. But both are considered good numbers. So I'm good! But my illogical IF brain says that 23 this IUI is better than 16 on my last IUI lol...somebody beat some sense into me.
@GeauxTigers77 Woohoo for great progesterone #'s!! That's good to know that it can vary so much during the day.
Sooooooooo I caved and I shouldn't have. I'm 11 days post trigger shot and 9 days post iui. Last time I tested out the trigger shot it was gone by day 8. Today there was a very faint line. I refuse to get my hopes up since it could absolutely go both ways. Butttttt here's hoping!
Me: 26 DH: 27 TTC: October 2014 IUI #1: July '15 - BFN; IUI #2: Aug '15 - BFN; IUI #3 Oct '15 - BFN; IUI #4: Nov '15 - BFP 1st Beta: 57. 2nd Beta: 177. 3rd Beta: 6563 12/18/15: 6week Ultrasound - ONE STICKY LITTLE NUGLET!!!
@tbyars07 Now we both know that 9dpiui is too early most of the time. With that being said, I'll likely test tomorrow to test out my trigger LOL I'm like you I cant stand it! But seriously, Friday should be 12dpiui if you are counting the day of your IUI right? Soooo, I'm not saying it won't drive you crazy, because I'm pretty certain it's driving us all mad around here. I'm likely going to test looking at 12dpiui (Sunday for me) and every day until I start or don't - BFP or BFN.
@::cherish~love:: Hope it's over 10 then! My RE puts everyone on progesterone support starting 2dpiui regardless of numbers. Whether I need it or not it gives me peace of mind and a little extra can't hurt!
ok Progesterone is back. It's 37.2!!! : ) My past draws during this same time frame were 9.1 and 11.2. Also, I know I talked about this in a different post already, but yesterday AM I believe I tested out of my trigger, it was totally negative. Last night and this morning, the faded second pink line is back. Just somebody tell me I'm pregnant!! LOL I will obviously keep testing once in the AM and once at night until AF shows up, or she doesn't!
@::cherish~love:: Yay for positive progesterone #'s! Looks like progress! Fx for BFP this month!
@tbyars07 I'm confused sometimes - some people count the day of IUI as 1dpiui and others count the following day. That's why I asked.
How does everyone else count? I'd be interested to see how you guys are calculating and is it based on what your RE says or others say? I've seen both ways on the boards here.
@GeauxTigers77 It does get confusing! Would love to know how others count down also! Haha I'd be one more day into this waiting game! I'm not sure about your paper calendar (everyone's cycles are different) from Dr. Webster but mine counts the following day as 1dpiui.

@katie121209 & @tbyars07 Cheers to trigger out and the long week ahead! I am going to test in the AM to check trigger - I'll be 9dpiui tomorrow. Last month @9dpiui my trigger was still showing but was the last day it showed.

My temp took a huge dive today. If I had tender breasts I would be cautiously optimistic, but I feel completely normal.

I had a small break down this am. This is our 3rd IUI. If this doesn't take then we are moving on to IVF. But there are a few things insurance wise we have to do first. Which means waiting a few weeks. Then I got upset cause I just kept thinking what if I can't get pregnant... Then what. I know we have all been there at one point in time. But knowing you are the reason you can't have or do something is frustrating. Small rant. I'm ok for now. 10dpiui

@mummysmomma - Big hug to you, honey. This journey is such an emotional roller coaster for all of us. Periodic meltdowns are all part of the process. You are most definitely NOT alone! Try to stay positive when you can, and be gentle with yourself when you can't. Btw, I'm also 10dpiui (my second IUI) and I've been feeling very emotional and afraid these past couple of days too. Are you beta testing on Monday? FX that we both are celebrating BFP's next week!

Today is 9dpiui. I POAS this morning and trigger is out! I've decided not to try to fool myself into believing I can actually wait until my BETA to find out if BFP/BFN - However, I did wait until today to check trigger and I'm pretty sure I can make it until Monday which will be 12dpiui to start POAS. Maybe.
Also has anyone been having weird dreams? Seems like the last couple of days I've been having them. And last cycle around the same time I was having them. Just curious.
