@geauxtigers77 We won't judge you for testing. I tested last week Thursday and BFN and was like "yay the trigger is gone" then I started with BFP on Friday(10dpo). BUT I kept telling myself that it wasn't official until I got the beta results back(first draw was yesterday). For me personally I was able to be much more productive with work and housework since I at least had an answer.... now I dont know how I would have felt if my results were BFN, but I kind of like just an answer one way or another. Not the silly waiting game.
Also, I have had super beyond weird dreams as well.
@TennisCourt Not judging me, especially when we are so emotionally desperate at times during our IF journeys, is one of the reasons I love these boards. People who don't understand our struggle tend to say, "oh you're testing much too early, be patient." And then I tend to have criminal thoughts related to them lol (JK). But it is certainly why we have kept this process primarily to ourselves.
Either way- BFP or BFN on a test does not change much for me. If it's BFN it is emotional and I worry it will never be a BFP. If it's a BFP it is emotional and I worry about whether it will be viable. It is the not knowing and feeling out of control that is the worst for me and why I test early. That is where the relief comes in. As if I know how to proceed, even if I really don't lol.
And these dreams, weird weird! One woke me way early this morning because in my dream I was 2 hours late for work and suppose to be covering my co-worker. LOL. Glad I'm not alone.
@TennisCourt when's your next blood test? Hope your numbers are doubling like they should!
I'm struggling with this wait we have family visiting all next week so I don't know how I'll cover up the dissappointment of a bfn if it comes to that again.

Ok really not trying to symptom spot but I have a question for you all. I know breast tenderness/swelling/sensitivity is an early pregnancy sign. I am about 7dpIUI and I definitely would not say I am having breast tenderness or swelling. But I am having what I can only describe as a pinching sensation in my left nipple. Like it actually feels like I am being pinched. It has been totally intermittent through the day. Has anyone experienced this before???

Hi all! I'm coming over from the Oct/Nov IVF board and am now in my 2WW with a BETA on 11/18. I'm sorry for the BFNs, congrats to those with the BFPs and I'll continue to pray for all of us during this IF journey. DH and I really pray that this time is it for us! I just had 2 grade A embabies transferred today at 11am, we have had 2 failed IVF attempts (1 fresh and 1 frozen) so we said to give 2 embabies a try!
We are currently braving the TWW. I have PCOS and have only ovulated on my own maybe 5 times in my entire adult life (I'm 30). One of those times was a chemical in July and since then my doctor put me on metformin. After a few months I still wasn't ovulating on my own so I was put on Letrozole. I was lucky and it worked to mature two follicles measuring 22.5 mm as of 11/3, at which time I was given a trigger shot. I ovulated on 11/6 -- it was noticeable and I was cramping all day after the ovulation burst. Now we are only two days into the TWW. I feel like its particularly difficult because I've never gone through normal post ovulation/pre-period symptoms as a result of PCOS. So I have CM, breast tenderness, bloating, fatigue, etc. and have no idea if these are all promising signs or simply PMS symptoms, so we must just wait. I am keeping busy with meetings all week this week and next week I plan to throw myself into planning for an upcoming trip to the east coast the week of Thanksgiving. How is everyone else doing during their TWW?

@genipher1231 I too do not ovulate on my own... Metformin and clomid did not work for me. My Endo had me do shots of Gonal-f which worked...and a trigger shot that seemed to work too. Keeping busy is the best during the TWW. This is my 3rd IUI cycle. I'm going for my beta test tomorrow am. If you need to complain or someone to talk to throughout your tww these boards are the best

Thank you :-) We just started TTC, so we haven't gotten to the point of going further than timed BD and letrozole. Apparently Clomid isn't as effective as Letrozole for women with PCOS, according to my fertility doctor. It worked for me, so there must be some sound logic there. Good luck to you with your IUI. I really hope it works for you this round :-)

BFN this morning on 12piui. No AF yet but feeling defeated...and crampy.
I am currently in my 3rd IUI cycle and 9DPIUI. I won't be testing early my beta is scheduled for Friday. Feeling pretty calm. Testing early was making my anxiety terrible so now I wait...
@GeauxTigers and @tbyars - So sorry. I'm right there with you. Feeling defeated and crampy, and crushed by the added weight of the fact that I turn 43 tomorrow. Been keeping hopelessness at bay until now, but today I feel like a lost cause. Trying to keep it together at work... I've gone to the bathroom to cry twice already this morning and it's not even noon yet. AF will be here any day now. Next step will likely be increasing the Clomid to 100mg and giving IUI another try. It almost feels like just going through the motions at this point. I no longer believe it will work.

Added bonus: My friend that got preggo first try and KNOWS what names we want to use whenever that time may come - announced her names. The girl name is exactly the same and the boy name is freakishly close. Sooooooo I threw a slight temper tantrum over that too.
So now back to the grown up real world - yippee.

Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer.
3/22/16 - Sono Saline ultrasound cyst to be aspirated on 4/1/16 if not cleared up by 3/29 US - It cleared on its own Retrieval 3/4/16 - 26 eggs retrieved, 23 mature, 20 fertilized, 14 embryos currently frozen Starting IVF Stims on +/- Feb 22, 2016 HSG scheduled for 1-26-16 - All clear "beautiful uterus" (though inverted)
Switched clinics and now prepping for IVF in February / March

Hi everyone! Shifting for October/November IVF board to this as I am on my TWW... I got 2, 5 days frozen blastocyst transferred on Saturday.This is my first frozen transfer. I had one fresh transfer but it failed. This time I hope it works...

@ khush87 we meet again! I'm a day behind you but with 2 fresh blastocysts and my BETA is scheduled for the 18th. Let's get that BFP!!
Just checked MyChart and out of 5 grade B and C embabies, 2 more made it to the freezer with 4 more blastocysts. So 8 out of 13 retrieved is pretty good I have to say since our first retrieval only gave us 2.

I am 7 days into the TWW, it has not been so bad this month. But I am kind of prerending I forgot that we even got an IUI this month.
Good luck ladies, we need some more BFPs his month!
Beta 5/9/2016 BFP!!
Embryo transfer scheduled for April 28, 2016 and beta test May 9, 2016 (day after Mother's Day!)
Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer.
3/22/16 - Sono Saline ultrasound cyst to be aspirated on 4/1/16 if not cleared up by 3/29 US - It cleared on its own
Retrieval 3/4/16 - 26 eggs retrieved, 23 mature, 20 fertilized, 14 embryos currently frozen
Starting IVF Stims on +/- Feb 22, 2016
HSG scheduled for 1-26-16 - All clear "beautiful uterus" (though inverted)
Switched clinics and now prepping for IVF in February / March
Trying to conceive since November 2012

Shifting for October/November IVF board to this as I am on my TWW... I got 2, 5 days frozen blastocyst transferred on Saturday.This is my first frozen transfer. I had one fresh transfer but it failed. This time I hope it works...

My first BETA Is on 11/19. Is it okay to take HPT on 5DP frozen blastocyst transfer?

@ khush87 we meet again! I'm a day behind you but with 2 fresh blastocysts and my BETA is scheduled for the 18th. Let's get that BFP!!
Just checked MyChart and out of 5 grade B and C embabies, 2 more made it to the freezer with 4 more blastocysts. So 8 out of 13 retrieved is pretty good I have to say since our first retrieval only gave us 2.
