@red3ye I am in SouthEast PA. I travel quite a ways for some clients though. One diabetes alert client is in the Pittsburgh area and one other client is in MA. We usually meet half way though. I don't mind giving tips though. I love helping people. I have the best job in the world.
Of course unnamed person on this board who drives me nuts is getting a shower for her Nth baby.....
Also I have been relieved that this baby is American as well as british... All my cravings (salt and vinegar, black tea, firey ginger beer) have been UK foods.... tonight the little one was doing a dance while I downed some Phish Food
FIREY GINGER BEER?!? That sounds amazing. I love Moscow Mules because I love ginger. Is it spicey or something? Sounds like a dumb question since ginger already has a little kick to it.
It's a bit more kicky then ginger ale.... leaves a slow burn in your throat in a good way

Ugh, woke up at 3am, unable to sleep. So far the house is getting a decent clean (as much as it can considering there are people trying to sleep). Dishes-done, toys-picked up, laundry-at the laundry matt washed, and drying now, everything has been disenfected and a large cup of coffee sitting to cool until it no longer scalds my mouth. Not bad since the sun isn't up yet
Omg it is soo cold here this morning! I'm not turning the heat on yet though! I am double layered, under 2 blankets, and working on a poncho with thick yarn. Despite the cold it's a good morning
February Siggy Challenge- Post pregnancy indulgences
So much to catch up on! @ecwk yay for a good appointment! That's fantastic!
All those belly pictures are making me feel like I just got on a roller coaster, and now I'm ready to get off. I'm a VERY petite 5'1" and can't help but feel like I'll be falling over forward with the baby carrying up so high d:
I'm definitely a dog person and cant wait for DS to get here so we can adopt a dog (:
I have just 8 actual days of work left, then I'm home free for Disneyworld, and then I'll have just about 2 weeks to get our apartment packed and ready to go! It's gonna be a long couple of weeks over here in the great state of Texas.
Wth! A couple towns just 30 minutes south of here woke up to 6+ inches of snow! I guess we got some headed toward us (hopefully it stays just south lol)
February Siggy Challenge- Post pregnancy indulgences
Noooo! Not the evil "s" word, @charley15! I saw a few flakes yesterday, but nothing accumulated. Whew! Not ready for that.
@red3eye - I am amazed at your diligence. When I can't sleep, I just lay in bed and moan and groan until the sun rises. I never actually get up and do anything.
I'm on day 3 of a vicious sinus headache and I'm about ready to rip my head off. Sent DH to the store for some Sudafed. Darn better help.

@MrsLeanMeanClean that sounds like what I know of as ginger beer. It's delicious!
This week I finally bought maternity clothes. Well, I had purchased two pairs of shorts previously but I went and bought some sweaters and tops and such. Y'all, my life is changed. Not only am I much more comfortable but I feel so much cuter than I did just squeezing into T shirts. I was trying to avoid it because my husband and I are HUGE money savers so I alwasy feel guilty buying clothes but this is so worth it.
Love ginger beer! Everyone, please feel better fast! It's a crime that pregnant mamas ever get a bug/cold/sinus prob/allergies! Like the universe should just take pity and pregnancy should make one immune to everything else. Wouldn't that be amazing?! I woke up today and hubs was just coming back (I didn't even know he had left) from Dunkin donuts. Major bonus points for him today (even though he's more of a doughnut fiend than I am LOL). We had to turn the heat on this morning. I've been motivated this weekend cleaning stuff, and it feels great to get stuff done, but I keep overdoing it and having to stop and feel crappy. It just happens so suddenly. One minute I'm fine and then bam! dizzy, nauseated headache! Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday

@oceanchild mmmm Dunkin Donuts! DH and I shared a large mint hot chocolate today after a walk in the woods with our dog. So good! Take it easy with the cleaning!!!!
Sorry to all the sick mommas. Hope you get to feeling better.
@ecwk You dog is adorable! What bread/mix is it? We decided not to get another dog yet but will probably get one after the baby is a little older. It's so weird for us to be a one dog family for the time being. The house is too empty. My parents just got a new pup so I'm supper jelly of them right now.

She's wonderful really, such a great disposition. And because I love to show her off here is another pic
Her muzzel and coat color look boxerish I guess. I really think the pounds just take a wild guess sometimes. We had a dog that the shelter said was an Australian Shepard mix but after having him for a while I really thought he had a lot of Akita in him. That's kind of the magic of rescue pups...always trying to figure out what they are and where they came from.
ETA: I finally got the link to work. She does look a lot like the black mouth cur!
Totally just googled "in bread" to see more funny photos and ran into a whole lot of disturbing pictures of loaves of bread with mice baked into them....bleh wishing I could undo the last 30 seconds of my life.

Thanks for the well wishes, y'all. The Benadryl took the edge off my headache, but it still isn't completely gone. Resilient little brat. I never take Benadryl and thought it was hilarious that the directions say, "Do not give to a child to make them sleepy."

Hi all! Trying to catch up with the busy thread again, DD and I are sick like some of you, started as a cold, I'm feeling like mine is turning into a sinus & upper respiratory infection too.
Anyhow, hoping everyone has had a decent weekend. Loving all the dog pics, we're dog people too, and DD loves dogs and cats! She likes to read to our little guy sometimes!

Haha my grandma used to take them as "sleeping aids". I never said anything because when you are 89 you can pretty much do what you want.
You know when someone tells you not to do something you go ahead and do it anyway? Yeah I saw the mouse thing. Bleurgh, can't unsee that
Yeah, curiosity killed the appetite huh?!? Sorry I mentioned it... I should have kept it to myself. It's really not anything anyone wants to see...ever. :-S
@icq5504 no fun! You may need to get to the doc if it really is an infection. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Thanks! We'll see how I'm feeling tomorrow, because once it starts snowballing, ugh, it's bad! I don't want it to turn into bronchitis or worse. Hope everyone else starts feeling better!
@lcq5504 that's what I'm trying to head off. Dr. prescribed me omnicef. Hacking coughs = pain. Lots of pain. And peeing. I let it go too far during my first pregnancy and ended up splitting my abs And essentially having to cloth diaper myself.

Omg, you're scaring me! I will be seen ASAP if it keeps heading in the wrong direction! For me, colds trigger my asthma, and if I let them go they'll turn into bronchitis or pneumonia, and it sucks! This might be a dumb question, but would I call my OB's office since I'm pregnant, or the regular doc?? I feel dumb for asking :-S lol

That was my question first pregnancy. Now I just go to my regular doctor and they consult with OBs about meds to prescribe.

Ok, thank you!!! ;;) I thankfully never got sick like this with my first, so I genuinely had no clue! Haha
I'm so excited! DH and I finalized our name choices tonight!! I'm dying to find out the sex in the 4th so we know which one we will be using!! I also came up with two awesome nursery themes and an idea to reveal the gender to our families through the mail. I feel so productive today even though i've been on the couch since 2 pm!! ;;)

Aww! Yay! I can't wait to find out this Friday! We decided to wait and see what we're having so that we can really brainstorm on names, although if it's a girl, then I already have a front runner!

We rescued her and were told she is a boxer mix but we think she is this: https://www.dogbreedinfo.com/blackmouthcur.htm
