@LCK0830 Thanks for the personal check-in! I am feeling alright! My AF symptoms lasted from 1:30pm to bedtime which just put me in a sad mood... but I feel more 'normal' (like I even remember what that feels like!) today.

Anyone like, drug-induced coma tired?! Geeez I am exhausted. Like out of breath walking up a flight of stairs, beat-dog exhausted, hit by a truck WIPED OUT! I need my daily naps and I didn't get one yesterday! This is not really a knew thing, I have felt like this most of the IF journey....
@IsabelFuentes2015 you are planning on testing early, right? Have you started? Any others testing? I've decided I am not. Holding out for the stone-cold beta-baby truth in 2 days.....

hahaha @shaylatrice they kinda went back to their normal size but i was so happy with big boobs for the small period of time
DH was happy but also sad because since they were so sensitive he couldnt play with them.
@Mclorn, i was like that before - people at work were asking me what was wrong with me - My excuse was my DH work hours and also the new dog we got. I used go to the bathroom and took two minute naps while seating on the toilet at work lol

@jav5y2 the leg-thing threw me! I did have the metallic taste in my mouth one time earlier on... As for progesterone, I think I heard they want it above 10 or 20... not sure about estrogen.... my clinic doesn't do this monitoring between transfer and beta... makes me nervous!!

@lizg19 & @mclorn it always makes me feel better when I'm not the only one weird things happen to! @lizg19, I also have terrible constipation. Considering a small latte to help get things moving.
I asked about what numbers to expect with this blood draw. Predictively, the nurse wouldn't give and hard numbers but told me that it is based on your levels before the transfer, so didnt really learn anything to pass on.
Also, I know I'm one of the late transfers and probably many of you have seen this before, but it was interesting to me, so I thought I could share:
This is what happens in a 5 day (blastocyst) transfer:
1 day post transfer - Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day 2 days post transfer - Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining 3 days post transfer - Implantation begins, as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining 4 days post transfer - Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining 5 days post transfer - Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells 6 days post transfer - Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood 7 days post transfer - More HCG is produced as fetus develops 8 days post transfer - More HCG is produced as fetus develops 9 days post transfer - HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT
@jav5Y2 i'm trying to cut off the caffeine - i drink one cup per day with extra milk. DH will be bringing me some Hot Chocolate later. I hope that call help me.
Another thing that has been happening is my face is breaking out. Like if i was in teens again.
I'm on my 11dp 3dt - I'm dying to take take a HPT but when i took one on Sat. I got a BFN and i'm very scared to take one now.

@jav5y2 I love that timeline! I wonder if my FET counts as a 6dt though... since that's when they were frozen...but I have also heard FETs can tan take an extra day to implant, etc, so I guess that evens out the timeline regardless.
@lizg19 I like that link! And Saturday was totally too early so don't be discouraged! According to @jav5y2 11dp3dt (9dp5dt) should be the right timing! I would wait until tomorrow (like you said, first thing in the morning) for a pretty accurate reading...

I think I am the only one here doing FET.... but I wonder if the PIO shots, etc continue the same as with a fresh IVF. I ask mainly because I am going to run out of most of my meds within the next week, and if, I MEAN WHEN, I get a positive on Friday I'll need to make sure I'm set. I'm assuming these meds ship overnight? I don't want to order early and potentially waste $$.
@mclorn freedom pharmacy can do it overnight and most insurances use them. And great job!! Way to take it like a woman!
Symptoms! Thanks for posting ladies m, I feel less crazy! To organize:
1) acne: Yup! I have what looks like a rash on my neck and forehead but may actually be a breakout, I just never have it and these are very small pimple looking things. Grr! 2) exhaustion: check! 1pm zzzzz a must I look like a zombie at work 3) AF-esque cramps: kinda? This morning I though maybe constipation? Nope, so not sure. Definitely felt a little crampy in lower belly. No clue what it was but it's gone. since I'm a day behind you @mclorn this makes sense, yes?! 4) metallic taste: nope, don't think so! 5) veiny chest: check. It goes pretty high up which surprised me, almost to my collar bone which combined with the acne/rash makes me want to rock a turtle neck. 6) sore bbs sensitive nips and big bbs: still slightly bigger than normal but no more soreness or sensitivity. Scary.

@jav5y2 awesome! That's a great table! For my progesterone check they were looking for above 20 and my number 34 was perfect and kept me on the same dose of PIO every night. In the hundreds would be bad as its a very strong indicator that OHSS will occur. Hope this helps!! GL!
So exciting to hear what everyone's going through! Time is flying!!! Not sure if this is a good thing... I too am having a love/hate relationship with beta day.
I just got off the phone with my RE and feel very discouraged. She let me know only 1 embryo made it to the blastocyst phase to freeze. The other's were abnormal in some shape or form and died off. On day 3 I had 7 "perfect" and "very good" quality eggs. My concern is that the one inside of me is also a poor quality (even though at the time of my 5 day transfer is was "perfect"). I'm not sure how, if at all, they correlate. My RE told me that at the time of transfer, the ones that eventually died looked abnormal (so something happened between day 3 and 5) but that the one they transferred and the one they froze looked of very high quality. I just don't think this worked. Do you think all my eggs are poor quality and not surviving through implantation and that's why I can't concieve?
@LCK0830 that is sad news, although of course the positive spin is that how wonderful you have 1 to freeze....also a sigh of relief that they checked those embabies and did not end up freezing poorer quality ones....regardless, a devastating loss. I too wonder if my conception problem is due to poor egg quality. Valid concern as they can only tell so much from looks alone. @lizg19 is absolutely correct that embryos thrive once inside the uterus, so positive thoughts! Absolutely NO reason to say you are not fully pregnant right now! And your 1 frozen could be a sibling, so that's cool to think about. IVF is also neat because it is diagnostic, so hopefully the embryologist and doctor are already learns lots about you to make sure everything stays positive!
@LCK0830 I may have mentioned my friend earlier, but she had 2 pre-blasts transferred as none of her 14 made it to blasts and the other 12 completely arrested. She had no hope and is now 8 weeks pregnant with twins. I definitely do not think that your upsetting phone call today has ANY impact on your current transfer success.
Thanks ladies. I'm trying to stay positive but really wasn't prepared for that news. I hadn't even thought about frozen eggs. I figured the ones that were viable on day 3 would stay that way. But, if the one transferred made it to blast, there's no reason to think it would suddenly die when it's inside of me, right?
LCK0830 I'm so sorry you got disappointing news today.... it may not just be your eggs... sometimes there could be an abnormality with the sperm/or genetic make up of the sperm that causes issue as well. And then you couple that with the trauma of retrieval and ICSI...Hopefully they can perform some testing to figure out what happened from day 3 til day 5. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and saying a special prayer....

@LCK0830 you are in no way out and it's not likely an egg quality issue. Day 4 is the day the the male and female DNA combine, it is typical for a lot of embryos to arrest on day 4 due to this! If all embryos arrest it can point to a joint genetic issue or an issue with the DH sperm (reversed or missing chromosomes). You still had two strong normal out of 7, which is positive, if disappointing. There is no reason to think that either of the two remains can't become fabulous little bundles of joy for you and DH to hold.
Just remember: prior to day 3 - egg quality! failure of fertilization - sperm/egg maturity! failure to hatch day 6 - egg shell (more common with FET)! day 4 arrest - combined genetic issue or MFI. And absolutely some great embryos falter on day 3 bc they just don't like that damn Petri dish and want to be with mommy.
@LCK0830 to answer your previous question, no there is absolutely no reason to think the embryo would die once inside you. In fact, the opposite is more likely due to that super cozy home you made I think we all have those same fears though, so just breath through it and know that you have the best shot possible right now! xoxo

So you think they arrested due to chromosomal abnormalities and not egg quality? If there are problems with chromosomal abnormalities, is that ongoing or does that change from cycle to cycle? Ok... I just got the call, my Estrogen levels are telling them I'm ready to go. I'm Triggering tonight and Retrieval is Friday morning at 7AM. AHHHHHHHHH!! @LCK0830 definitely feel hopeful! 2 stellar miracle babies in the making! Good question about chromosomal abnormalities. I think it's just kind of random, to be honest (unless you are a carrier for something). I'm kind of making up #s but my RE told me something like
30% of blasts can have abnormalities. Not a red flag or anything, just how it is... and the older you get, more tend to be abnormal.

Catching up after a few days, welcome to all the newbies!
@LCK0830 - I know it's hard not to worry, but those little embryos have a much nicer home in your belly and will do great! I was reading an IVF blog of a couple that shares the same diagnosis as my husband and the wife had a similar situation going from 15 embryos to only 3 and she got pregnant! So just remember, it just takes one!
I'm home today after my ER this morning. Not much pain or cramping, but I am getting more and more bloated and already look 3 months pregnant. I've probably down at least a couple of liters of gatorade so far today hoping I don't get OHSS. My RE and nurse haven't mentioned anything OHSS so hopefully I'm not at high risk for it. Unfortunately, I didn't get to talk to the doctor after my procedure so I have no idea how it went. I'm a little nervous that they didn't get a lot of eggs- my RE said at my last US that there were probably 10 mature eggs- my left ovary has definitely been lazy and just had 3. I know that 10 is theoretically enough to get the job done, but I'd like to have a few more to just bump up our odds of this working.
I'm actually feeling like I got the easy job in this whole IVF process. DH had his sperm retrieval this morning while I had my ER. Ouch! He said it constantly feels like someone has kicked in the balls and it especially hurts when he coughs. Unfortunately, he has CF and all he does is cough so it's definitely going to be a rough couple of days for him as he recovers...

2009-2013 6 Clomid Rounds which resulted in 3 Cysts/Had to take some time off from TTC
10/2014 ~ BFP (Natural Pregnancy) after 3 months Acupuncture/Miscarriage at 10 wks
7/2015 ~ Med Protocol#1: Failed Cycle/Only 1 Egg/Unable to convert to IUI because thin uterus lining
08/2015 ~ Med Protocol #2: Started stims 09/13
ER 10/9 with 6 Eggs Retrieved/3 SNOWFLAKES!!
10/22/15 ~ AF Showed up, waiting for Fibroid removal.
10/28/15 ~ Saline Ultrasound - Fibroids were gone. FET scheduled for December 3rd!
12/08/15 ~ FET of one hatching Embaby
